DAS Party Size/Annual Pass

We have two children who will be getting a DAS, and just got an Annual Pass. How do they manage party size for that? We are a family of four, and if it was just us I understand it would be done on the 2 DAS cards with two parties of two. But certain days others in the family will join us, so it would be ideal to get them 4 and 4 so we don't have to keep getting new DAS cards. How is this handled at Guest Relations? Do we need to get a new DAS card each time, or can we have the individual ones adjusted since we have an AP. Thanks.

My understanding is that if you want the DAS for different numbers of people on different days, you will need to obtain new cards each time.

According to the FAQ, you are allowed up to six party members with each DAS.

This is the sticky for WDW DAS. Should answer any questions. The DAS is also no longer guaranteed for any guest. It is at the discretion of the CM at Guest Relations.

And, if you are requesting two for a party, you will be asked to split the party on the cards.

OP - there is a post by Michigan on this thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=51671108#post51671108) where the poster indicates that because they have annual passes they were allowed to put 6 people on each DAS. Now, whether that is the norm or was an exception (and overly accommodating CM), I can't say. Best suggestion is to ask when you get the DAS. Worst case scenario, you will need to have the DAS reissued at another time when you come with a larger party. But DAS for AP holders should be good for 60 days after that.
