Given how hard it has been to get ADRs for our week in Nov and the construction at the Poly and WL, I can not see why Disney even needs to offer a room only discount for the deluxes in Nov. Starting to worry.

It won't affect your ADR, but the main pool is undergoing construction in the fall. Scheduled to be closed 9/3 through 11/27. I'd think this will push more MK resort folks to the GF and the CR, making them more crowded. So I'm wondering if room discounts will be offered, at least for those two resorts. I have no interest in free dining and really wanted a room discount. Moving from WL to the CR due to the lack of a pool is costing me another $700.

Joining in the watch.... I too am hoping for POR/FQ room-only discount Nov 4-11, but I am also beginning to doubt this will happen... We shall see

Seems like if it is going to be offered they would offer it in August when the FD promo runs out. I know this could be wrong, but it's my wishful thinking.

No. Those reservations would either have to be modified or cancelled and rebooked under the promo. A bit of a hassle but definitely worth it over Disney's rack rate prices!

This is what I Am worried about !! Booked for POFQ, but since fd booked out the other mods, they are filling FQ with no discounts.... Here's to hope!
