4 days to go and from feeling like we had too long to wait, I am suddenly feeling like there isn't enough time to do everything!

We have arrived at POFQ. It is as wonderful as we remembered. Great room. They honored all of my requests. We took the bus to DTD because of rain, but we were able to take the boat back. DH loved the pot roast for dinner.

We leave in 4 days. I'd love to know if you can buy rain ponchos at the resort or only in parks. I have a feeling we may need them right away.

Yes they sell them. I would go to Walmart or Target before you leave and stock up on theirs instead. They are $1.47 and just as well made. Just a thought.

Thanks! I doubt I'd be able to find ponchos around here now that it's summer. The time to look would have been in the winter. But even if I were able to find them, I decided to just wait until we got there so we had one less to bring. Our suitcases and carry-ons are full!

You can find them in the camping and recreation area. They're available year round and come in tiny packages. Ours are Coleman.

I'm going to estimate about 15 minutes (or maybe a few minutes more) We did it once mid day in August. It was stinking hot (never again). Now we take the boat.

Haven't heard any noise at all in the evenings. Really enjoying the small size of the resort. All the hotel staff have been friendly and helpful. I think this may be our new resort of choice!

Great! We'll be there in 2 days! We have a garden view and requested 3rd floor, so we'll see where we end up. The small size is what attracted me to begin with.
