Hi everyone, we'll be in Orlando Nov 21-25. Is the Osbourne Family Lights display at HS considered a must see?? I was only planning on spending the morning at HS with my 2 dds (4 and 7) but am now wondering if I need to change my plans so that we are there to see the lights. What time do they generally turn on?? We do love Holiday lights in general, so I have a feeling we're going to need to see this!

They are unbelievably beautiful! We actually went twice at Christmas time without seeing them, just got busy and never got to HS at night. But saw them in 2011 for the first time and they are definitely my must do Christmas time experience; would rather miss EVERY other Christmas event (CP, MVMCP, etc) in favor of this one, as it is definitely the most moving for us.

Absolutely a must see as well as the Candlelight Processional in EPCOT and the decorations at the resorts!! Don't miss it. :thumbsup2

Yes definitely. There were/are rumours that they might not be there for much longer so see them when you get a chance

They start at about 6:00 and then do their little 'dance' every 10-15 minutes after that.

They were one of my favorite parts of being there at Christmas in 2012! That and Main Street at MK. Candlelight processional was just "meh" for us, we didn't "go" to see it, we were nearby when it was going on, stopped to watch for a bit from outside the theater, and realized that 10 minutes was enough for us. I don't think many small children would enjoy it, perhaps when they're older, just my opinion, I know so many here LOVE CP.

Yes. Worth park hoppers to go there many times.

For our family - we consider it a must-see! It is overwhelmingly beautiful to me every year and always puts me in the Christmas spirit!!

I absolutely loved it! Rearranged my last day so I could end at HS and see the lights one last time. Saw them my.first and last day there and both nights when they played Feliz Navidad, lots of people would start dancing in the streets. Very cool and kinda made me tear up a little b/c I was so happy. Corny I know, but I loved it!

Yes, they are a must see. We only planned 1 night for them my first time there. They ended up being my favorite part of the whole trip. I think I could have spent an hour there every single night. They are so cool, and every 15 minutes or so (I think) it snows! It's crowded but so much fun. Especially if you like Christmas music. Videos don't do it justice.

*edit* I'm second guessing myself on the snowing part now. I think it's just that they dance every 15 minutes.

I think it is worth making a special trip to DW just for that. You can buy egg nog and sip it as you walk around. It even snows!!!

Sorry for jumping in but typically what day do the osbourne lights show up at the park, we will be there oct 30-nov11. Are we too early?

Nothing we could tell you would do them justice. We saw them Dec 2011 and had to go back to see them Jan 2013. They are incredible.

We have booked for Oct/Nov 2015 and really want to see the Osbourne Lights, does anyone know if any further news has been released about the rumours that the lights might not be there much longer? We'd hate to miss out on seeing them next year but we can't seem to find any definitive information about them being removed/moved. Hope they keep them, they look magnificent.

Put me down for a "Must See" vote. We've gone 4 times over Thanksgiving and have always had our meal at the studios and then stay the whole day so we can see the lights.

Just a fantastic holiday tradition.

Sad to see someone post above that they might not be there for much longer.
