We will be there, I was wondering if there will be tickets available at the door. I just registered my husband and I, but we may also bring our 2 kids. We have family in the area, and the kids might stay with them. We might be able to convince family to come with us too!

And if open to anyone, what sections are you still missing recipes for? Off the top of my head I have some good breakfast and appetizer recipes but I am sure we have other types as well

I wanted some from the Podcast crew because I thought people would like some from them but I need about 150 recipes (right now I have about 40 or so from family and friends). I have mainly desserts at this point. We still need desserts, but appetizers, entrees/main dishes, soups/salads, vegetables/vegetarian, and we wanted to have a kid-friendly section also. so for those of you with children, what are some of the recipes you used with them to teach them how to cook? I remember my first recipe with my mom was French toast, oh some 57 years ago. so yes, please send me the recipes. You com PM me or email me, whichever you prefer. I would prefer to have them in text (NOT PDF) as I have to type them all and it's easier to reformat then type from scratch. thanks all

My DH and I live in Hagerstown, MD, but Hershey is only an hour and a half away. Can't wait!! I'm more of a lurker then a joiner, but I hope to change that soon with my first trip report. We are registered and excited to meet other people like us.

I am excited also. finally a meet close to my house. we live in Flourtown PA and I can't wait for the event to happen. Plus I booked a room at the Hershey, I have always wanted to stay there, and now I have a good excuse to do that. I am hoping some pin traders show up also.

I have added a newly donated item for Silent Auction. Jennifer Brenton Photography has generously donated a portrait session along with 11x14 portrait. The session would take place in the Reading, PA area.

Also, we will have Disney themed key fobs available for sale at the event...$5.00 each!! I hope to have a picture up soon.

Hi, there! I just wanted to touch base. I am in Kennett Square. I was a volunteer for the DE meet in October and I am volunteering for the NJ meet next month. I just wanted to offer up my services to you too! It doesn't look like you are too concrete yet on your event's, but I put Saturday and Sunday down as non work days, so I can help. I work until 6:30 & Hershey is rather far, so Friday is probably out. I have 3 large dogs, so I am not likely to spend the night either, so I may just do the main event day... but I'm open to more than that. Let me know where I can help! I can make phone calls and stuff too!

The DIS cookbook sales have gone live...If you can't make it to the event, we can ship it to you!!

Also I have added our Friday event info. It is free to attend, but we will be having Disney Bingo along with Disney movies. The cost of the Bingo cards will be taken at the door. Prizes may be Chinese Auction tickets, and other small items. We are looking into light refreshments from the Lodge, but we are right across from the Bears Den restaurant in the Lodge.

So excited just booked for bingo on Fri and event on Sat and the Lodge!
Myself and my daughter- this is our first meet and we are very excited. We both love the podcast and are glad to help in this small way for GKTW!!

I didn't see that posted anywhere on this thread. I can't remember the last time I had to prepay for a hotel room. Is that what was supposed to happen?
