Disney CrossFit Competition at ESPN WWOS coming in Sept!

I'm kind of excited about this but I'm new at crossfit, so I don't know if I'm ready to compete yet. I know it says that no fitness skills are required, but will any newbies sign up??

I'm in, signed up for scaled. Master division's list of movements included muscle ups, and i'm not even close to getting one.

I signed up for rec division and have no crossfit experience...so you will have some newbie company

I'm all registered for the Rx division for that Saturday. I'm not the best at the movements but I can definitely do all the women's required ones. Just glad there were no muscle ups for the women.

The_princess, you can definitely do it! The recreational division looks really fun and I'm sure you can do everything required!

My wife is registered for RX on Saturday also. Hoping this will be an annual event.

I'm judging at regionals next month at Navy Pier, hope disney has quality judges at the fit challenge.

I think it's in partnership with the gym in Miami that hosted one of the open workouts this year. I would think everyone would be qualified to judge and the judging would be consistent with movement standards.

Oh cool, I didn't see that. Thanks. It wold be cool if reebok made some disney themed nano's for the event. I could use a new pair, my 2.0's are wrecked.

Too bad because they JUST had a spring sale on the reebok site (not the reebok crossfit site). I got nano 3s for around $85.

Shoot, I always miss the sales. I wasn't a big fan of the 3's, I really like the speeds, but they no longer make them. They replaced the speeds with the sprint, they now have that rubber cage over them. Hoping they have some to try on at regional's next month.

Just bought the new Reebok Sprints, hope their are as comfy as the speeds. Wonder if there will be an exclusive merch at this event.
