EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

This may have been covered but I'm new to the thread & haven't read back, when should we expect to be contacted by IPO? I booked back in December, our reservation is 10/25/14 - 11/01/14 at AKL - CL. We will be coming up on our 180 day reservation mark for ADR's next month & really want to try to get a reservation for CRT. Should I be getting something from them soon or should I reach out to IPO myself? Any info would be helpful, this is our first time staying CL & I just want to make sure I don't miss it.

Like Erika said, I would go ahead and contact them myself. I usually do my own ADRs but last fall they were able to get Wishes Dessert party for me when I had been trying for awhile. I also always make sure they have my flight info, room requests and so on....:cool1:

If it was me, I would definitely pay the extra for a LV...especially if you are balcony people like us. Lagoon views are so pretty!

Standard views at YC are usually parking lot views. Most aren't too bad, but a few have some pretty "interesting" views of flat rooftops or service areas. Check out the last page (page 36) of this thread to see what I mean:

Worst Room Views Thread

And, I speak from experience...we got put in a YC CL Standard View room that had the "service area / dumpster" view. :crazy2:

I love a great view and the LV at YC can't be beat!

Oh my!!! :scared1: I wish I had the option of booking LV CL or GV CL. We have 5 in our family and I guess the capacity for those CL rooms are only 4 people.:confused3 Here's hoping maybe there is some Pixie Dust at checkin!:thumbsup2

Yeah!! Officially booked at WL CL 7/11-7/16!!! Can't wait!! :-)

Yeah!!!!:woohoo::woohoo:

We just switched from one night at the YC CL to one night WL to finish our stay! So excited to be going back the WL even for one night, and to try out CL there!

I booked my two CL stays through Orbitz on the summer discount, so this was the first time I didn't deal with my TA. If I want to put in a room request, can I do that with the IPO, or do I need to call Orbitz and have them do it?

Make sure you go to your "my experiences" at disney.com and link your orbitz 6 digit code.

Next after a few hours or day your MB's will show up. You have to change the address because the reservation is in Orbitz address. You can then customize your bands:goodvibes

You will be able to online check in at the 60 mark. You can also call CRO with requests as well.

You can also book your ME on disneymagicalexpress.com or by calling but you need to do this after you have linked your reservation if doing the online version.

Hope I didn't confuse you!

Luckily, there aren't too many of those icky views over the service/dumpster area. But, I would definitely recommend speaking up if you get any room with that view. I will hope for Pixie Dust for you! :goodvibes

Thank you! I've got all of those things down from previous visits, but I guess I'm curious as to room requests that my TA would normally put on my reservation that don't show up on the online check-in on the site at 60 days out (which has a very limited selection). E.g., I'd like to request "close to lounge, quiet pool side" for our YC reservation (hoping that's a standard view category?) And for our Poly reservation, I'd love to be on the third floor of Hawaii.

I know I could probably call Orbitz back and ask them to note it on my reservation, but I'm hoping I could bypass Orbitz and just handle those sort of requests through the IPOs (mainly because I have zero confidence in the Orbitz agent handling a request like that for me)...

Just upgraded my booking from BC SV to BC LV CL. Soo excited. Haven't been to Disney in 10 years and never stayed onsite. So have had lots of reading to do! This thread has had a ton of great info. Can anyone tell me how many CL rooms there are at the BC? We were just curious...

Thanks so much - I might look into the TA option to see if I can get a discount. I really appreciate the info!!

I was a bit distracted yesterday(dd home for spring break) and I should have just told you this. You can wait for the welcome email from the IPO or look up the email (probably on 1st page) and make your request that way. I have been pretty lucky and all of my 1st choice requests have been met and often top 2.

At poly CL last year I got my 3rd floor request AND 11am check in so good luck!

Awesome--thank you!

We have never stayed at club level before, and I'm wondering about the on-line check in, for which we now seem to be eligible. Is this something that we should do? My impression was that we weren't going to have to stand in a line because of having a CL reservation, so I guess I really don't understand how this works. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

After I booked with Orbitz and entered the information into MDE, I was surprised to receive an email from the WL IPO with my two connected reservations. I'd never been contacted by the IPO before, even when I booked direct with Disney online, so it was a nice surprise. On the other hand, I haven't heard yet from the AKL IPO yet so I will be sending them an email.

To answer your question, you communicate directly with the IPO and do no have to go through Orbitz. This is how I did it last summer when I booked through Travelocity and how I'm proceeding this year after booking through Orbitz.

I just booked WL CL with my TA last night and it shows up in MDE. How soon should I expect to hear from IPO? (We are going 7/11-7/16)

I am wondering the same thing! Good question. I am eligible for online check in too, but what is the benefit for club level?

Online check-in is available for CL guests but it really isn't necessary. Typically it's main purpose is to expedite the check in process , which you are already doing by checking in on the club level. I always make my room requests to CRO and the IPO, that usually works well. :)

I would go ahead and contact them. There really is no need to wait. :)
