~ Sew Sweet 16 ~I’m packing your angry eyes just in case~Aug 2014~ BFF' bag 8/20!!!!

Glad you had a nice visit with your dad and that V's bloodwork is good. I'll send you a PM for your dad's address- maybe we can drop a birthday card in the mail from Disney!

Hope you will be able to get caught up in your sewing room soon. And I hope you will be able to find someone to cover your Target shift - I don't want you to miss your road trip!

Charlotte is doing about the same - she's asking for a bottle about once a day but she's ok that she gave them all to the babies so we don't have them anymore. She's still having a hard time sleeping - we spent a night in the spare bedroom and last night she bunked with me and DH. I may just sleep with her in the spare bedroom for the rest of the week without even trying to get her in her crib, then we'll be at Disney and she'll be sharing a bed with her sister. When we get home we can start a whole new bedtime routine that ends up with everyone in their own bed at a reasonable time :)

We are in the final stages of Disney planning. I can't believe a week from now we will be at Animal Kingdom!

I am running so far behind this morning - it's been crazy. My apologies that I don't have time for replies...

However, I did want to point you all in the direction of a new PTR... My friend Jordyn - who has been a good online friend of mine for YEARS... Many, many years... She started a PTR the other day. Jordyn and I moderate an AG message board together... You may remember this little ensemble I made a few years back - it was the very first hand applique I had ever done... Well this little outfit was a gift I had made for Reese when Jordyn had her. :lovestruc

th_IMG_1390.jpg

Anyways... Back in January, little Reese was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), and it's been a very rough few months for her and her family. Reese was just granted a WISH trip, so the MAW foundation will be meeting with her next week, so she can make her wish. Her wish is that she wants to meet Mickey and Pascal. :wizard: :lovestruc Jordyn has Reese's story posted in her PTR, if you would like to read more about her and her family.

So, Jordyn is trying to plan this trip, it's been 13 years since she has been to WDW - we all know - lots and lots of changes have occured in that time. I asked her permission to post the link to her PTR in mine, in the hopes that all of my wonderful Diser friends would hop on over there, say hi to Jordyn and help her plan this amazing trip for Reese. :lovestruc

Reese's Pieces makes a wish pre-trip report

Thank you so much everyone!!! :lovestruc

And - on a side note - I will be back later today or in the morning with my replies. Hugs and well wishes to all of you! :grouphug:

(plus we sedate them.....so it's usually short lived!! :rotfl:)

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Too funny about her getting the baby turned off!! Mine doesn't have an off button!! (Well one that I can find anyways. :rotfl:) I remember we carried an egg baby and my sister had a 5 lb flour baby. At least those we could leave behind if we really wanted.

You girls are cracking me up tonight!!! I've heard of the egg baby, but not the flour baby. I'd hate for someone to drop that one!!

We are in the final stages of Disney planning. I can't believe a week from now we will be at Animal Kingdom!

:dance3::dance3::dance3: How exciting for you!!! I now you'll have such a great time. It's almost here!!!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay:

I love it when people want something unique and fun! :thumbsup2

This is truly a masterpiece!! I've totally run out of superlatives. Just love it!!

I missed the pic of Gus holding the baby. I think that's sweet, though. Sounds like it is completely realistic.

I'm glad you had such a great visit with your Dad and your foster family. I'm glad he gets so many cards and gifts too. I love that he looks forward to getting his mail. That is the sweetest thing!

Oh, and if you do get to go on your road trip, don't worry about going through Chicago…you've got Super Mo to pave the way for you. Isn't she the Mayor or something of Chicago. I thought I read that somewhere. And she doesn't get paid for it, she just volunteers her time. Yes, something like that!:rotfl:

You have a great day tomorrow. I usually can't get online until I'm finished for the day. I'm sometimes too exhausted to even do it then. But I'm hoping not to get too far behind. I'm praying for someone to take your shift.:flower3:

LOVE the new bag! So adorable! How awesome that you get to create such fun things like that! L-O-V-E it!!

Hopefully I can get on the list for the next round of custom orders you take! I am watching your facebook verrrrrry carefully!! :jumping1:

Though I cannot even in my mind decide what I would want! How do people make that decision!! It could be years to get on the list again!! LOL!

You girls are cracking me up tonight!!! I've heard of the egg baby, but not the flour baby. I'd hate for someone to drop that one!!

I know she didn't have problems with dropping it but it did spring a leak so flour did get everywhere. I preferred the egg a to 5 lb sack of flower. May have been more fragile but was easier to transport. Now if I could just find that off switch on my baby now. :rotfl: He is a pretty good baby but it would be nice to get a full nights sleep!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Mad Hatter bag D!!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry I have been just reading along lately, new hours at work and I don't have as much "free time" in the evenings.

A road trip huh? With just you and Josh? How exciting!:cool1:

Have a great day friend!

OMG!!! That is the cutest picture!!

He is such a nice boy, and I like having him around.

Ha! Hysterical! Baby think it over - great name !!

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Yah... It was a good weekend for her. I think the baby could have been a bit more cranky though. :rolleyes1 She was talking that she was going to try and take it home for another weekend again.

Sounds like you had a great time with your dad.
How great that V's blood work was ok. Low vitamin D is normal winter time but I hope you all get the D vitamin up with the tablets.

The baby-think-it-over sounds like a pain in the ***. I'm so glad we don't have that here. I would have hated every minute of it

Yah- I agree, it's normal... but glad we are all getting it up - hopefully.

LOL It wasn't too bad... I didn't have to care for it, and it's crying wasn't too annoying. It's a good reality check for some teen girls though.

Sorry about the rude customer. That is just crazy how much she kept going on.

Glad you had a great visit with your dad. I sent you a pm because the kids would love to make him some birthday cards!!

Too funny about her getting the baby turned off!! Mine doesn't have an off button!! (Well one that I can find anyways.) I remember we carried an egg baby and my sister had a 5 lb flour baby. At least those we could leave behind if we really wanted.

Hahaha... Thanks so much Sandra - my dad will love that!

LOL - your baby doesn't have an off button? Why not? :confused3 Mine was a 5lb flour sack too... Shoved it in my backpack all day, and off I went. I did draw a face on it though. :thumbsup2

that's way too funny.. Yet a doll that's real life? NO STINKING WAY!!!

Good Luck in your sewing room.. Get it all done before your ROAD TRIP!!!
I have to do an update on mine Tom and kids were a RIOT this weekend!

Yah... It was an interesting weekend, that's for sure.

I will be working on it today... As soon as the fabric dries.

It sounds like you had a great weekend with your dad. I worked in customer service for years and ran into some really crabby people. It takes so much energy to be rude. I went out with my daughter this weekend to get clothes for our trip. I have been wearing my new sandals all around the house. Can't wait to see the new bag. Have a great day!!

I agree!

Oooh, I love new clothes! So much fun! I hope you get your new sandals broken in enough before your trip.

Thanks so much Jennifer! :lovestruc

Yes, starting the new bedtime routine when you get home seems like the perfect solution.

So jealous that you will be in AK this time next week... Although, I will be in a warmer state, as well. I hope.

Cute picture of boyfriend and the baby.... Turn the baby off!!!!! I'm sure at some point every mother wishes there were a turn off button....

THanks! It was just the cutest thing...

You girls are cracking me up tonight!!! I've heard of the egg baby, but not the flour baby. I'd hate for someone to drop that one!!

Well, my flour baby resided in my backpack for the week... :rolleyes1

How exciting for you!!! I now you'll have such a great time. It's almost here!!!!!!!!

This is truly a masterpiece!! I've totally run out of superlatives. Just love it!!

Thanks so much - it was a fun one to do.

I missed the pic of Gus holding the baby. I think that's sweet, though. Sounds like it is completely realistic.

Sorry - I kept it up as long as possible. I sometimes get worried about posting pics of people on here, I don't want them to feel like I am infringing on their privacy. So, I leave them up for a little while and take them down. I am sure there will be more pictures of Gus... He is such a nice guy and we enjoy having him around.

I'm glad you had such a great visit with your Dad and your foster family. I'm glad he gets so many cards and gifts too. I love that he looks forward to getting his mail. That is the sweetest thing!

Yes, it was a good trip. And it's so nice that he gets so many cards and letters. :lovestruc

Oh, and if you do get to go on your road trip, don't worry about going through Chicago…you've got Super Mo to pave the way for you. Isn't she the Mayor or something of Chicago. I thought I read that somewhere. And she doesn't get paid for it, she just volunteers her time. Yes, something like that!

Hahaha... I cannot wait to show you all the car we are taking down. LOL It's gonna be a fun trip - that's for sure. I think Josh is picking it up on Wed/Thurs.

You have a great day tomorrow. I usually can't get online until I'm finished for the day. I'm sometimes too exhausted to even do it then. But I'm hoping not to get too far behind. I'm praying for someone to take your shift.

Thanks Lois. Are there any updates on Jennifer? How are you doing? I need to hop over to your TR to investigate... I've been MIA everywhere for a few days and I need to catch up.

LOVE the new bag! So adorable! How awesome that you get to create such fun things like that! L-O-V-E it!!

Thanks Terri! I love being able to create like this - it makes me happy!

You know, it's VERY common for people to give me several themes, then tell me to "pick one"... So, whenever people are struggling, I give them that option... I love doing that too, I feel like people get a truly unique bag, because I have a bit of free reign to be creative that way. :wizard:

That bag is great.

Thanks so much! :lovestruc

I know she didn't have problems with dropping it but it did spring a leak so flour did get everywhere. I preferred the egg a to 5 lb sack of flower. May have been more fragile but was easier to transport. Now if I could just find that off switch on my baby now. He is a pretty good baby but it would be nice to get a full nights sleep!

Hahaha.... Bff and I were talking about this the other day. She had the egg and I had the flour... Other than mine being heavy - I just shoved it in my backpack all day. At least with her's, she had to be careful with it. popcorn::

**********************************************************

As you all saw, I did finish my bag yesterday. :woohoo:

I also went closet shopping... You know... Where you go in your closet and try on all the clothes that haven't fit in years... :rolleyes1 To my utter disbelief - many things fit me. There were quite a few that didn't fit... well, I could get them on - but I would not wear them in public yet. The point to that, is we are leaving for a (hopefully) warmer climate, and I needed some capris/shorts to bring with me. So, I have a nice stack to pack up now. :thumbsup2 Unfortunately - most of this stuff is waay outdated now... So, I will need to invest is a few things for spring/summer. I will also need to invest in some smaller tee shirts... I am not sure what happened to all of mine, but I don't have any tees smaller than XLs anywhere to be found. :confused3 So, what I need to do, is donate 75% of what is in that bin... Which will be hard to do, but it's 10-15 years old, and just not in as good of shape as I remember it being. :confused3

I also have to run to town today, I need to get MM food. Then I have to go to the meat market to get some hamburger... I didn't realize we were out.

Gus is coming tonight. He is too funny... He now asks Allison "what's for dinner?" Hahaha... So last night, I told him he was cooking tacos. He informed me that it's highly likely that he will burn our house down. So, I put Allison in charge of the stove, and told Gus he was in charge of chopping. I hope that's not a mistake? We will see...

Thank you, to all of you who stopped by Jordyn's PTR yesterday... I loved seeing so many friendly faces over there for her. :lovestruc

I know there was something else I was going to tell you all.... But I can't remember what it is...

I need to get moving though... I over slept this morning. I haven't sprung my clock ahead yet, I keep forgetting to do that, and Josh's alarm didn't go off. But I still need to work out, and I have to get to work too, since I have errands to run today.

Have a fantastic day everyone! Sending out prayers and good thoughts to all of you! :lovestruc

D~

The bag is awesome. I love the ones were you add a little something different - the ribbon on this one and the ruffles on one I saw on Facebook. I thought when I finally got my custom order bag I'd be requesting ruffles, but now I've seen the ribbons :)

How exciting to be able to fit into those clothes in the back of the closet! I had a couple of friends over awhile back to help me weed out all of the clothes I was hoping to get back into. It was nice to get rid of some stuff and to have some help making the decisions.

Do you wear Disney T-shirts? If you need some of those in a smaller size, let me know, we have a Disney outlet close by that I visit way too frequently. They have a lot of stuff you can get in the parks for 50% off or more so I'd be happy to do some shopping for you.

Charlotte slept with DH and I last night. This morning, DH said if she won't sleep in her crib tonight, it would be nice if she and I slept in the spare bedroom :rotfl: Apparently, the reason she didn't bother me much last night was because she was on his side of the bed kicking and hitting him all night!

I'm glad you had a good visit with your dad over the weekend. That doll is something else. It would be nice if babies came with off switches.
Your latest bag is really cute. The Mad Hatter is another of my favorites.
I'm glad V's blood work came back normal.
The road trip sounds like fun. Unfortunately you won't be anywhere close to me.
I had a busy weekend. Saturday the electricity went out for the whole county for the second time in a week. There was a problem with the transmission line and a transformer another time. I still had to go to work but I couldn't get into the garage because the side door is warped and stuck. Luckily my lights can on about 5 minutes before I was supposed to be at work. Yes, I was late but it was ok because the store still had no power and they were just glad I got it. We stocked until the lights came on. Some places didn't get their power back until 9 that night. We had a lot people hanging around the store all day.
Sunday we went to the auto show and had fun looking at all the new cars.
Today we're supposed to reset the movies. WE should be busy.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Liz

The bag looks great as always :goodvibes
It must be a good feeling that the clothes in the back of the closet fits. I hope you find the clothes you want at the store.

I hope you'll tell us how the taco went that Alli and Gus are making. I hope they do it well :)

All caught up again :)

Super jealous you are going on a DISmeet road trip! I hope you and Josh have a great time. Bill would NEVER do anything like that...he drives for a living, so driving for fun would not appeal to him.

Ok...question, this baby thing the Allison had....they turn it off for them because a boyfriend was coming over?? How is that teaching them anything? You can't shut off a baby. Sorry, but I just think that is strange and sort of defeats the purpose of the whole assignment. Am I wrong? But glad he was still there when the baby was "turned back on". This Gus Gus sounds like a really good guy. Very happy for A.....and you!

So...when is he going to Disney with you guys???

Your calendar looks great. You have some really fun ADRs and I'm glad you are still doing the waterparks.

Glad to hear all the bloodwork for everyone came out right...what a relief to have all the tests behind you. And you are right....getting yourself on a little Vitamin D won't hurt anything.

79 days and counting!!!!!

Hahaha... Thanks so much Sandra - my dad will love that!

We'll probably get started on Friday because the kids are off school for a teacher work day.

LOL - your baby doesn't have an off button? Why not? :confused3 Mine was a 5lb flour sack too... Shoved it in my backpack all day, and off I went. I did draw a face on it though. :thumbsup2

A lot of kids would shove it into their backpack until it was time for health class but then it would come out so it would look like they had been caring for it when in reality they didn't (the teachers were smarter than my sister and her friends would give them credit for.) I know a couple times kids had their flour babies "kid napped" when they would leave them in their backpacks during PE. The teachers knew who had the babies and who didn't. Really devastated some of the kids (girls mainly) but it made them think twice about leaving their babies behind again. Really couldn't do that with an egg baby since they could break a whole lot easier if someone were step on your back pack. We'd have to find babysitters or else we'd have to sit PE out that day and get a mark that could possibly lower our grade depending on how our participation was through out the year.

Hahaha.... Bff and I were talking about this the other day. She had the egg and I had the flour... Other than mine being heavy - I just shoved it in my backpack all day. At least with her's, she had to be careful with it. popcorn::

I can see the pros/cons to both. I just had a small basket mine hung out in so it was safe and easy to carry. Adding an extra 5 lbs to my back pack does not sound like a fun time.

Forgot to mention that the new bag looks so much fun!!! Another great bag!

Great for fitting into your clothes but I know what you mean about them being outdated. I have boxes of clothes in the attic that I just want to get rid of but DH is like but what are you going to do when you lose weight? I told him buy new clothes because I'd never want to be caught dead in those again since they are so out of style!! He didn't get it so for now they just sit there.

Hope dinner went good!

Yay for clothes fitting again!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1: Are you throwing/giving away your old clothes? It must make you feel so good.

I agree with Suzi that turning the baby off seemed to defeat the purpose. :confused3

I finally got over to Jordyn's ptr yesterday. I can't imagine what they are all going through. I look at my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and am so grateful she is healthy! I try never to take good health for granted. I think a medical career and the fact that my brother died when he was 18 keeps it in sharp focus that every day is a gift!

Hey, how did the tacos turn out? Sounds like Gus is a good sport and a lot of fun to have around. He no doubt loves your whole family dynamic as well.

Okay, really gotta get upstairs and pack lunches and get breakfast. All the kids are early risers! Have a great day!!!

Oh! I almost forgot. I was getting some groceries the other day at a place close to Miles' preschool and I spotted a store I'd never seen before: G Street Fabrics!! I wanted to go in so badly, but was due to pick Miles up and needed to get back home for lunch and naps. But Jen is having a friend come over Friday to give me a break, so guess where I'm making a bee line for??? Yep! Can't wait!!

The bag is awesome. I love the ones were you add a little something different - the ribbon on this one and the ruffles on one I saw on Facebook. I thought when I finally got my custom order bag I'd be requesting ruffles, but now I've seen the ribbons

I know - I love it when I can do something different. :wizard:

How exciting to be able to fit into those clothes in the back of the closet! I had a couple of friends over awhile back to help me weed out all of the clothes I was hoping to get back into. It was nice to get rid of some stuff and to have some help making the decisions.

Yes, it is awesome, but I am so disappointed. I thought there was more "stylish" stuff in that bin. :rolleyes1 I've been this small twice in the last decade... 2004/2005 and again in 2007/2008... At that time, my clothes from o4-05 were still OK... but now, well - they are laughable. So, I guess it's time I start trying to find a few new things to wear?

Do you wear Disney T-shirts? If you need some of those in a smaller size, let me know, we have a Disney outlet close by that I visit way too frequently. They have a lot of stuff you can get in the parks for 50% off or more so I'd be happy to do some shopping for you.

Oooh that would be fun! I don't wear them a lot... I am more of a plain Tee shirt type person, but if they were cute - well... :thumbsup2

Charlotte slept with DH and I last night. This morning, DH said if she won't sleep in her crib tonight, it would be nice if she and I slept in the spare bedroom Apparently, the reason she didn't bother me much last night was because she was on his side of the bed kicking and hitting him all night!

I shouldn't laugh - but at least you got a well deserved night's sleep. :thumbsup2

I'm glad you had a good visit with your dad over the weekend. That doll is something else. It would be nice if babies came with off switches.

LOL I know - it would have been nice...

Your latest bag is really cute. The Mad Hatter is another of my favorites.
I'm glad V's blood work came back normal.[/qute]

Thank you to both. :thumbsup2

The road trip sounds like fun. Unfortunately you won't be anywhere close to me.

Bummer!

I had a busy weekend. Saturday the electricity went out for the whole county for the second time in a week. There was a problem with the transmission line and a transformer another time. Yikes - that does not sound like any fun at all... Although - sometimes I think of those things as an adventure. A few hours is OK - but I am not sure I could do a whole day or longer. Glad everything came back on and you had a nice weekend after that.

The bag looks great as always
It must be a good feeling that the clothes in the back of the closet fits. I hope you find the clothes you want at the store.

I hope you'll tell us how the taco went that Alli and Gus are making. I hope they do it well

THanks Lillian. :thumbsup2 The tacos turned out great... Gus took all the credit, but we found out after he left, that Allison made everything and Gus watched.

All caught up again

Welcome home! I missed you!

Super jealous you are going on a DISmeet road trip! I hope you and Josh have a great time. Bill would NEVER do anything like that...he drives for a living, so driving for fun would not appeal to him.

I am VERY excited about it. But I am VERY nervous about driving to Mo's house... and leaving Mo's house. What if we get lost and end up in a bad neighborhood? Scares the crapola out of me.

Well, Allison had to take a deduction in points to have the time off like that, and it had to be pre approved by her teacher. So, if that was something she wanted to do in the first place - well, that's her decision. But I do agree, it doesn't make it very realistic. As a side note, she is taking the baby home again for the fun of it (no points this time) in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2

Yah - I do really like Gus... He is a nice guy. Really. I just have to get over my own trust issues and learn how to better trust my girls' judgement. Not that I don't, it's just hard to explain... I just want to protect them all the time, and they need to learn how to fend for themselves.

So...when is he going to Disney with you guys???

Hahahaha... I don't think he would have any interest at all... Unless we stayed in a cars suite and he was at the TPDE all the time.

Your calendar looks great. You have some really fun ADRs and I'm glad you are still doing the waterparks.

Thanks! I am so happy we got everything we wanted.

Glad to hear all the bloodwork for everyone came out right...what a relief to have all the tests behind you. And you are right....getting yourself on a little Vitamin D won't hurt anything.

79 days and counting!!!!!

Woohoo!!!! I am so excited!

Welcome home!! Glad you had a good trip, can't wait to hear all about it - loved all the pics on FB.

We'll probably get started on Friday because the kids are off school for a teacher work day.

Awesome! He will be so happy!

Hahaha... Yah, well, I can surely say that this baby-think-it-over was much more realistic.

Yup - exactly... Not sure what I am going to do with all of them, but I doubt I'll be wearing them again.

Hope dinner went good!

It was very good.

Yay for clothes fitting again!!! Are you throwing/giving away your old clothes? It must make you feel so good.

Thanks Lois! Well, first of all, I am going to let BFF go through them and pick out anything she wants. Then the rest will go to Goodwill.

I agree with Suzi that turning the baby off seemed to defeat the purpose.

Yes, I agree, to some extent. Allison had to take a deduction in points and the teacher had to approve it beforehand. In all reality, she had the baby for 60 hours and it was only off for 2 of those... so... :confused3 I totally understood her reasons why she wanted it off... but I was equally happy that Gus stayed around when it came back on and actually enjoyed having it here. :thumbsup2

I know... :grouphug: I try to keep things like that in focus too, some days I forget and I am reminded.

Hey, how did the tacos turn out? Sounds like Gus is a good sport and a lot of fun to have around. He no doubt loves your whole family dynamic as well.

They turned out really good... He took all the credit for a great dinner, but Alli told me after he left that she did all the work and he watched. Typical man... :rolleyes1

Okay, really gotta get upstairs and pack lunches and get breakfast. All the kids are early risers! Have a great day!!!

I hope you have a great day... How is Jennifer doing?

Oooh have fun!!! Enjoy your time off!

YEsterday was a good day. I was able to get next week's custom order cut and quilted. :thumbsup2 Unfortunately - I won't have much more time to work on it this week. Tomorrow, V has her eye doctor appt in the morning - which will take a few hours, I am sure she will need to pick out new glasses. Then - in the afternoon, Alli has her dermatologist appointment - in the total opposite direction. Friday, I will need to grocery shop and other things to get ready for the week. I am hoping to get the applique cut out before I leave, it's always so much easier to start a day off by just stitching it out.

Last night, Gus came for dinner again... He took the credit for a great tasting dinner, but after he left, Allison told us the real story... She made dinner - he watched. Figures. The funny guy he is, he also left a little something behind for us to discover later... Cracked me up...

After dinner, we all watched an episode of Top Gear, at Gus' request. Then we watched Once Upon A Time - but Gus left before that, he had no interest. :confused3 We just started watching that show, and we are all really into it... It's in it's 3rd or 4th season, so we have a lot of catching up to do.

Today, I work at Target all day... Sigh. Enough said about that.

Road trip update:

I just wanted to let everyone here know... Many of my Dis friends are making the effort to meet me while I am in Knoxville... This is evolving into a nice little Dismeet. So, if any of you are in the Knoxville area, or willing to drive to Knoxville on Monday during lunch time (I know, it's crappy that it's a week day, but I don't have a choice in that), please let me know and I will PM you all the info. :thumbsup2

I have a couple of friends driving in from Atlanta. And a couple more driving in from Nashville. :woohoo: I am soooo excited about this!!!

Have a wonderful day everyone! Sending out prayers and good thoughts to everyone! :grouphug:

D~

I guess I missed the part where you got someone to take your shift. It's what I get for reading through fast! Glad it's a go and that's awesome about the mega dis meet!!!

To answer your question, Jen is just doing ibuprofen and is back to nursing as of this morning. The ibuprofen takes care of the pain. But, she has flu symptoms today and is in bed. Poor thing. Running to the bathroom is not easy with a full cast on.

I'm so glad your trip is on and is shaping up to be Epic! Have fun? at Target.

ETA: Oh, and I LOVE what Gus did on the fridge. Great sense of humor. I think you've got a winner there!

So glad the road trip and DIS meets are a go! :thumbsup2

Next time I hit the Disney outlet, I will take some pictures of the women's T-shirt selection, in case you (or anyone else) wants me to pick some up.

I seem to always remember the clothes I've "outgrown" as being a lot better than they actually turn out to be when I dig them out again. :rotfl:

Seems like Gus is a good kid. :thumbsup2 My high school sweetheart fit in very well with my family, and I did with his. I think our mom's were pretty disappointed when we broke up. His mom and I are Facebook friends.

When you have time, will you share the steps that go into making your bags? I know zero about quilting, appliqueing, and sewing but when you mention what you've accomplished, I'd love to have a better idea of what that means and where you are in the process.

Update on Charlotte and the bottle and sleeping - I don't think she asked for a bottle at all yesterday. I tried to put her down in her crib last night, but she wasn't having it. I'm starting to wonder if she doesn't want to be alone or if she doesn't want to sleep in her crib? :confused3 I was convinced she wasn't ready for a big girl bed, but now I'm not so sure. She and I ended up in the spare bedroom last night and slept soundly until she fell out of bed! She went right back to sleep after some cuddles, no harm done.

Enjoy your day! Mine needs to consist of working and not being distracted by Disney planning!
