From 8 to 80!Seeing the Magic through a new set of eyes-Updated7/15-NEW TR LINK pg 28

Via Napoli had been such a successful lunch, and we had some very important issues to deal with next, character greets! Yayayayaya! I wanted to meet Belle, of course, since she’s not out anywhere else anymore, so we sped over there first to jump in line. This is where I asked Mom if she’d do the cool parent thing and stand in line for me while Brian and I ran over to Jasmine and Aladdin as we had enough time before the French princesses set began. Mom obliged and we ran over, only to find the line way too long to get through, so I made the call to bail and head back to France!

Woo! Quick journey! Belle wasn’t quite out yet as it started to sprinkle, though I wasn’t concerned, what I was concerned with was that I was in France and didn’t have a drink in my hand! Baha, but seriously, I ran over there with Brian and we grabbed 3 slushies for the two of us and Mom, Anne politely declined, but we made sure she had a sip. It was also Brian’s first time trying the GM Orange slush! It was tricky to drink with the rain coming down and making the glass overflow, but we survived! The rain continued to pick up, so the attendant moved us inside the theater lobby of the French movie to do the meet and greet, where they promptly kicked out ANYONE with drinks or food….somehow they missed us as we put ours down on the floor by a bench with Mom and Anne.

She was nice, nothing amazing, but good for an interaction. We grabbed our slushies and made our way out of the theater to find that it had stopped raining. We kinda stopped to regroup and plan the rest of the day by the entrance to the perfume store where we literally ran into Courtney and Chris again! Yay!! We stopped to chat for a bit about how our days were going, lunch, you know, the regular! After saying see ya later to Courtney and Chris we started to move on when I noticed that THERE WAS ACTUALLY A PHOTOPASS PHOTOGRAPHER OUT BY THE FOUNTAIN!!!

I was pretty excited to say the least…next, it was time to move into the UK, where we had a lovely meeting with Alice!

We chatted about girly things, she asked my name, and when I said “Katt” she replied with “like the Chesire cat, or my cat Dina!” she was super cute!!

Mom and Anne went in after since there’s no photopass here, and they got in on the hugs too!

She’s so adorable! After the UK we took some time browsing through Canada, and talking with cast members in there, and actually found one that was from the same city as us! SUPER COOL! Lol. We’d officially finished World Showcase, and as predicted, I was pretty bored and done with Epcot! SURPRISE! I obviously wanted to head back to Magic Kingdom as a certain friend told me to come back that day, Brian said he’d come with me, but Mom and Anne decided to head back to the hotel, it’d been a long week, right?! I suggested some things to do for them, and then we made our way to the entrance where the BELOVED MONORAAAAAIIIIILLLLLLL was waiting for mmeeeeeeeeeeee.

Brian and I made our way over to the Magic Kingdom via monorail, and surprisingly, made it in time for the last showing of Move It Shake It!! Yayayaya! It had been raining again, so I did stop to ask a CM if it would still happen, she said there’d be an announcement if there was a delay or cancellation, so we headed down to the hub to wait for it. Sure enough, right at 5:40, an announcement went off saying that it would be delayed…well…at least it wouldn’t be cancelled!! After a bit of waiting, Brian suggested maybe riding Haunted Mansion if the wait time was short enough, so we headed that way. Well, I kid you not, we hit the end of the bridge, and I WHEELED around so suddenly that Brian thought I had seen someone I didn’t want to see or something, but truth be told, I had heard Move It Shake It start at the beginning of Main Street, bahaha! He seriously couldn’t hear it at all, but hey, it’s my jam, I know when it’s going!

Obviously, we skipped our way back to the hub and ended up dancing along, and were in the same area as my oh so lovely stilts friend, who, thanks to rain, was once again, not up on stilts! Win! Lol. We danced our way through the street party, and at the end, took it back up onto the sidewalk to let all the performers get out of there. Well, as we’re standing there, Stilts friend comes right up to us, reaches out his hand, and like, pet…my face…like…the best way to describe it would be that he very gently high fived my face and stroked down it….odd…. Like…I wish I could find a gif to show you just how hilarious this moment was.

Once the parade had moved on, we made our way over to Haunted Mansion for a quick adventure with some happy haunts, then made a water stop, and headed over to Liberty Square to jump into Tiana and Naveen’s line.

Now, guys…I have absolutely no pictures of this. It was nearing the end of the week, where I stop caring about handing over my camera for a millionth picture with Cinderella, and I figure “I got photopass, they can take care of this…” yeah…DON’T EVER FREAKING THINK THAT AGAIN FOLKS. For they lost this entire set of photos….along with four other sets throughout the week #notimpressed….

SO, Brian and I get up to the front of the line, and of course, Naveen and I are chatting up a storm while Brian and Tiana made small talk to kill some time lol! Naveen was excited that I had come back, asked where Mom was, and commented on my Disneybound, saying that I looked great! I replied saying Mom and Anne couldn’t handle today, bahaha, they went back to the hotel, and I also thanked him for the clothing compliment and said I’d be doing Lottie on the 19th! He immediately got excited and was all “THE NINETEENTH!?! I’LL BE HERE….I mean…I’ll always be here...but I’m definitely here the 19th” And after a brief moment of huge excitement, I realized I’d gotten my dates wrong, and I’d meant the 18th…I left on the 19th.

Naveen was saddened by that, and was all “awe, this’ll be the last time I see you then?? No….” He asked when I was planning on coming back, over Christmas maybe? I said probably not, and he mentioned that he wouldn’t be here anyways, as he was in the parade….but of course, Naveen would still be with Tiana…;) I told him I’d be back in February for FOTLK auditions if I was small enough by then, and his response was a little laugh and “Awe man, I love you, love this girl, and her dedication!” Hey, he was the one that told me to never give up two days earlier!! We took some pictures, gave some last minute hugs and said goodbye for now, and Brian and I moved on.

Since we were on a pretty big roll with characters, I figured why not continue it?! So we headed towards Town Square Theater for the last time the princesses would be hanging out in there! Yay! We ended up waiting a while, but were eventually in the room, and greeted by Rapunzel first! I’m pretty sure her friend is one of the original friends, and she was great, Brian was definitely getting a little nervous/excited to meet her, which, hey, that’s totes okay, I get like that all the time around characters, ahaha.

She posed us in one of her classic poses for the picture!

Aurora was next and we chatted about some flowers, fairies, evil dragons and such, you know, the usual!

She was cute, and as always I AM IN SO MUCH LOVE WITH THIS DRESS I NEED TO OWN IT!! Like, for real, Imma need someone to make it for me if I don’t ever get to be friends with Aurora cause I just want to live in it and twirl in it for daaaayyyss.

Cinderella was last, and was good, we did the regular, chatted, and then took some pictures, lol.

Sorry I don’t have more notes on what we talked about, I was seriously lacking by this point in the trip, eck. My bad! Brian suggested a few more things to do, but I was seriously lacking in energy! It had been a long week, and we had a BIG day ahead of us, actually, two very big days, and I didn’t want to be grouchy for them, so I said I was going to head home for the evening.

We took the bus back to POFQ together and then Brian found the CP bus to take him home while I made a brief stop in the food court before going up to the room. It had been a logn time since lunch, so I grabbed a kids grilled cheese sandwich with some fruit for a snack. Guys, it had been OVER SIX MONTHS SINCE I HAD EATEN A GRILLED CHEESE! As part of my super healthy ness I had cut out dairy, partially because I am lactose intolerant, and partially just because. So, I had to cut out one of the GREATEST and my FAVORITE foods of all time. Needless to say, it was absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend it.

Back in the room Mom and Anne were up and watching some Dancing With The Stars, turns out I had just missed my future husband Derek Hough dance, boo! We chatted a bit about the day since we had split up, and the plans for the next day and then it was off to bed!!

Ups of the Day
-Seeing Naveen and Tiana again!
-Move It Shake It friends!
-Soarin!
-Amazing snacks, food and drinks throughout the day!
-Getting to see Miranda at the Starbucks
-Snow White being awesome
-Cool rides

Downs of the Day
-Not quite finishing everything I wanted to, ie; pick a pearl, China and France movie, etc
-Not getting back to DHS or over to Beach Club for a break as I’d wanted to.

Hahahaha, nice job with the "hidden" slushies. It's not like you want to gulp it down. You need to savour it.

YES!!!! I swear I can hear Move It Shake It in Animal Kingdom!

Well of course they would lose the photos you didn't take with your own camera. #Disneylogic

Even without the pictures, the meet with Naveen is still so sweet. :goodvibes

I swear I'm not abandoning reading your TRs!!! I just want to save the best to the last part of my day!! :)

You are so adorable and I swear you have CM written all over your cute face so....it's just meant to be.

I think you have seen all the princess characters so many times that you should be on a first name basis with many of them.

Loved the Alice interaction.

Adorable Snow White Disney bound. Definitely a great look. :)

Ok, May... yes, will be there. Sorry, I wasn't ignoring you on FB either. We'll be there starting 4/28-5/8 unless anything changes since I'm traveling with my hubby. Let's make plans to say hi at the very least. :goodvibes

Whoo Hoo I'm back and all caught up again. I was so good seeing you last week! My May plans are all in place and much to my surprise, Jim is coming with me. :scared1: I was totally shocked when he said he would go again. We will be there just for a short weekend, May 2nd to the 5th. We may have to try for a quick meet sometime on the 4th! I think we will be at MK the whole day since I'm not planning on getting a hopper for Jim. Not worth it for just three days.

Now onto what I remember of your posts.

I'm the same way with Epcot, Soarin is about the only must do for me. And in May I may not be riding it at all! Jim loves Test Track so I may have to choice that one as my FP+ this time.

I bought that same Duffy bear last week! I decided I needed to have a Disney bear in my bear collection so he came home with me. He's hanging out with the rest of my bears now.

I can finally say that Via Napoli is yummy! I got to eat there last week for the first time. Mom and I really enjoyed it.

You got a lot of meet and greets in on this day! Since Jim is coming in May I'm planning on focusing on meet and greets rather than rides since that is his favorite thing to do.

Hahaha, yeah, I'm not really sure what was going on, but the cm's in there were not too friendly about it! And hey, I have gulped those down many a time :goodvibes

YES!! SO MUCH YES!! It is my love, I can always hear it start, like, right on cue, let's get partying!!

It was fantastic, I'm super glad we got to see him multiple times that trip, and all my friends, it was a great start to disney entertainment friends!!

I swear I'm not abandoning reading your TRs!!! I just want to save the best to the last part of my day!! :)

Hahaha, no worries, I stopped replying on yours for a bit there lol!! Awwe, so sweet!

Awwe, you seriously are too sweet! Thank you so much, I really do hope that that dream comes true very soon one day, I don't think I can take the cold much longer… :beach: <- i belong there!

Ahahaha, I definitely am now, it's getting to be one big family of princesses lol! Stay tuned for even more friends in future tr's!

Thanks!! Planning on packing that one for future trips too!

Yes!! Our May trip just dropped down to 3 people :( however the dropper outter is joining us in Sept, so it's all good! Lol. Can't wait to see you again!!

Awesome seeing you again!! It was a great though short meet and greet! Lol. hopefully by May I'll be in the process of moving down there! Hahaha, and yes! The 4th will possibly be a busy day for myself, I'm almost considering flying in on the 3rd to have some breathing room bahah! BUT, we can definitely make something work!!

Hahaha, yeah, we just haven't managed to get onto Test Track since Feb, and I'm okay with that, Epcot is more of a wander, drink, eat and character meet lol!

Awwe, yay!! Duffy is a part of the family!

It's super delicious! I'm excited to head back there sometime in the future!!

YES!! Heck, that's mostly what Steven & I do in Disney, heck, last week we only got on rides because we spent the entire week at MK and were waiting on characters to come back out bahhaha!

Our next day began bright and early, as we were down at the bus stop for 7:15! Luckily, we didn’t have to worry about eating while getting ready, as we were headed into the parks to stuff our FACES at one of my favorite places! My Disneybound for today was my favorite villain, and it was sure to be a fun one! :p Anne, Mom and I arrived over at Magic Kingdom at 7:45 perfectly on time for breakfast! We headed over to the reservations and tours entrance and were just LET RIGHT IN. Seriously, they didn’t once even ask if we had an ADR, much less our last name/confirmation number like years previous! Whoot! A beautiful and empty Main Street was ALL OURS next!

I really love the first shot we got there! The second one is super dark…eck…photopass so not cool this time around. We’ll see how it works out next trip… Our group headed around the corner at the end of the street and checked in at the Crystal Palace!

I’m pretty sure we had one of the first ADR’s of the day, so the restaurant wasn’t even open yet! We didn’t wait long and were soon escorted to our table by a friendly cast member. Upon entering Crystal Palace we took a right and were up against the windows with a lovely view of the Magic Kingdom! The characters weren’t on our side of the restaurant yet, so we made a beeline for the DELICIOUS FOOOOOODDDDD.

That’s my plate: at the top we’ve got a sausage, some watermelon, PINEAPPLE, grapes, cheese, smoked salmon and some cheesy potatoes! I was super excited about the pineapple as it’s super delicious and super good for you and I had been searching for it ALL WEEK and hadn’t managed to see any until now, so WHOOT. I also had a second plate with a Mickey Waffle on it, because, you need to!

Mom’s plate has starting at the top, a biscuit, some breakfast lasagna, breakfast pizza, some kind of pastry, a Mickey waffle, and some fruit.

And Anne’s plate has: some bacon, eggs, surprise, a cinnamon bun, a Mickey waffle with strawberry sauce, some fruit and potatoes!

Verdicts on the food; we all loved it! I am always super impressed with breakfasts at CP, the food is always super delicious! There’s TONS of options, the carb and sugary choices, the fruit, the salmon and other protein types and of course, they have the omelet station! Our server was Karen, and she was the BEST service I’ve ever had, not just at Crystal Palace, but at all the Disney buffets! She was nice and speedy and quick, and didn’t abandon the table, especially when she brought the bill around before the characters did, so that we could take care of things early on THANK YOU!!

Pooh Bear came around with Anne, since he was her favorite, she jumped up there first for hugs and pictures!

So cute! He was super cute and great with Anne too which was an amazingly nice change from the first character meal of our trip!

Tigger was up next, and apparently I was the only one who got in for some fun with him, naturally, I was up first as he’s my favorite!

Mom of course took the opportunity to let Tigger know that he was her future son in law, and he proceeded to get super excited and take my hand and started to walk away! Cuuute! There was a quick break in friends and I booked it up to the buffet for ROUND TWOOOOO.

Fruit loops and a cinnamon bun! Heck yes! Seriously, fruit loops are the greatest cereal ever…cept for maybe cocoa puffs ;)….and in Disney, let’s splurge! The cinnamon bun was amazingly delicious too! It was super gooey in the middle which was the best part! Yum!

Piglet came by pretty quick and apparently no one was super concerned with him but me…lol. I love all the 100 Acre Wood Gang! Eeyore was the last to swing by our table and Mom took the lead there!

A hug and some talk about how he shouldn’t be gloomy, he was her favorite…

And now a happy one!

Anne and I figured he’d probably cheer up if we all jumped in there for some hugs and pictures too!

Once we were finished eating and done with our coffees, it was AMAZING to just be able to leave! Seriously, I’m so used to the waiter disappearing just before now and then you sit there for an extra half hour before they turn up with the bill. I was so happy and thankful to Karen for dropping the bill off earlier before she got busy, THANK YOU KAREN.

Cost:
$23.00 x3

Total: $69.00

We only had to tip! Perfect!

Food: 5/5
-Food was all hot and fresh
-Tons of choices ranging from kids cereal to sugary goodness to healthy choices, everything you could want
-3 years ago they had chocolate Mickey waffles, this is the only way this place could get better
-I seriously JUST remembered this now, but while I was headed through the buffet the first time I noticed a hair somewhere in one of the dishes…gross...but I didn’t pick anything up from it, so I could care less, BAHHA.

Service 5/5
-Karen was AMAZING
-Super efficient, super friendly, and brought the bill early on, she could not have been better!

Ambiance 5/5
-I love the atmosphere and look of CP, it’s so beautiful and lovely in there
-Never too loud either, just right!
-Not super crowded either, and fun to watch everyone else interact with characters on one side, and have the castle on the other!
-Character interactions were all awesome, and Mom even mentioned how awesome of a meal it was for us as it had one of each of our favorite characters, added bonus!

Would we go again: I think that’s pretty obvious, I’ve been nearly every trip I’ve gone to Disney! It’s a great meal, though breakfast definitely does win over dinner in my honest opinion. Buffets are also always a good way to get the value for your money, you get ALL YOU CAN EEEAAATTT…

We headed out of Crystal Palace with a smile on our faces and a stomach full of delicious food and discussed what we wanted to do next! I asked if they would be alright with going to visit Merida, as her first set was the way to go to get into that meet and greet, and everyone in agree-ance, we headed over that way! We made it right in time for her first set at 9:15, although there was a bit of a line in front of us. I feel like that line looks way worse than it is when they haven’t let anyone into the area….just me?

We passed the time watching all the little ones try their hand at archery and color/play around until we got close enough to actually watch the groups in front of us interact with Merida!

Merida immediately took note of my Disneybound, and actually took me by surprise when she started off with “Ohhh….we’ve got a little trouble maker over here don’t we?” To which I replied “uhmmm…I guess” and she pointed out “Gaston…?” And then I remembered what I was wearing that day and laughed and said yes, he was my favorite villain!

Merida said that he thinks he’s the best archer around, but he really isn’t! I agreed that she was definitely far superior to him! She then went on to say that he claimed his “muscles got in the way” as they had an archery challenge a few weeks ago, and his arrow got all the way up there! And pointed out a arrow near the top of the wall, clearly not in the target, bahaha! She said that if I went to see him to make sure to pass along the message that she was up for a rematch any time he wanted!

It was an awesome experience and a really great way to start off our characters of the day! I was super happy to have waited for a meet and greet like that! Yay!! I also just confirmed through pictures from last Sept, but that’s definitely the same friend of Merida as last year, and she takes a very good note of people Disneybounding!! She mentioned Tink straight off the bat last year and we had a good talk about the pixie world in the meet and greet! HECK YES!

Since I had my pick of things to do pretty much first, I asked Anne if she’d like to go on the Winnie the Pooh ride again, and of course, it was off to the 100 Acre Wood we were!! I’m super glad that Anne was able to find things that she really enjoyed on this trip, and I’ll never say no to an adventure with Pooh Bear! We continued through Fantasyland and saw that there was a line up around the new castle walls, and knowing it would be either the Tremaines or the Fairy Godmother, I jumped right in there! While we were waiting, the Royal Majesty Makers (the streetmosphere for Fantasyland, they’re like, roaming improvisers and it’s awesome) actually saw the line and started schticking together and to us! One of them jumped right into the line!

He then proceeded to yell “who are we meeting” “how long have you been in line? Three days I’ve been here” and other such hilarities which helped pass the time as we slowly made our way to the front!

The Fairy Godmother had been chatting with everyone ahead of us as she always does, asking them their favorite character/princess and if they’d seen them yet/where to find them/what their wish was kinda thing, it was super cute! So of course, I get up there, and after saying hello and starting to chat my Mom, who was working as photographer clearly stated that she knew which Prince I wanted, which made me do the “Moooommmm” thing, and half roll my eyes….

FGM gave a chuckle and I explained that I knew someone who liked to hang out with Prince Naveen, and that’s what my Mom meant. She said that she would do what she could on that wish, and we got some pictures!

This woman was seriously PERFECT, she had that big “Southern Mama” vibe to her, like, if you showed up at her door unexpected she’d make you some PB & J sandwiches with no crusts, cut into star and heart shapes and make you homemade hot cocoa to drink while you warmed up, kinda thing. Like, perfect casting!

The three of us thanked her and then made our way out of Fantasyland via the CASTLE! Seriously, best way to walk anywhere in Disney, through a castle, am I right? You see, I had a list of “Things I Want to Do” for this trip, little things mainly that I had missed on previous trips! Like taking more time in AK, trying certain snacks, etc. What was this oh so lovely thing? Why, the TROLLEY SHOW!!

We had wandered quite a bit down Main Street at first, about the point of the starbucks, as I wasn’t sure where it occurred, and then the music piped in and the performers legit came out from the shops! It makes sense now, as I know the Utilidoors come up in the shops and it’d be easier to get up through there than go all the way around!

Clearly they were doing the Autumn version of the show, and it was cute.

My ending thought was exactly that, it was cute. I think it may have had something to do with the fact that there wasn’t actually a trolley. I’m pretty sure it was down for refurb that day so they just used one of the cars instead. It wasn’t something that grabbed me, or made me want to do it as a performer or anything. I am still in love with rope drop though, and I know the performers who do that also do Trolley, so that’s cool, but it wasn’t my favorite. I was super glad that we did actually get to see it though, one thing checked off the list!

Trolley Show completed, we headed into Tomorrowland for another first time thing for Mom! Since last September, I had never been on Space Mountain before, we had skipped it, after all, I had described it as a “dark indoor coaster with lots of turns and it sounds scary” so we opted out. Since then, I have ridden it, and do enjoy it to a point. I find that sometimes I can only handle the tamer side A, and sometimes I find side A TOO tame and choose the scarier side B…and yes…that is indeed a thing.

Anne decided to sit this one out, we told her we’d meet her in the gift shop and I pointed out where that was and Mom and I made our way through the never ending queue to get to the ride!

Naturally I made a derpy face, and Mom didn’t know where the camera was! Lol. She enjoyed it, told Anne it wasn’t that bad, but she didn’t push to go on it again, and neither did I, lol. I’m weird with Space, some days I like it, some days I could really care less! We took the back path behind Space Mountain and over to New Fantasyland when we were done. I really do love that pathway, there’s RARELY anyone on it, and it just makes the walk a bit more enjoyable into Fantasyland. We had one last very important thing to do of the day, and that of course, was another character meet!

We ventured into Belle’s village and joined the line for Gaston behind a couple of girls a few years younger than me, and didn’t have to wait long before the man of the hour was out!

Gaston was quick to give me a little smirk and compliment my shirt, asking if I was trying to look like him, to which of course I said yes, he was my favorite after all! After the first picture he asked if we were going to flex!

He got in there a little before I did, he’s so impressed by his own muscles he’s constantly flexing! Gaston loves the ladies, so he made sure to get Mom and Anne in there on the flexing action as well, I mean, 3 is better than 1, right?

After the great meet and greet, Mom asked what my plans were. I said that I wanted to go see Aladdin and Jasmine, but that was it really, maybe catch Move It Shake It and just re do things for a few hours before heading back to change before the party. Since we’d pretty much done everything in Magic Kingdom, and had another half day there the next day, we decided to split up. Anne had really wanted to get some shopping done, and wanted to go over to Downtown Disney for a bit. Mom would go with her, and I would go off adventuring SOLO. The ladies seemed a bit concerned about this, and triple checked that it was okay with me to which I reminded them I’d taken entire vacations down here by myself, and done MNSSHP alone earlier this week, I would be okay!

We said our good byes, and I stopped to grab a LeFou’s Brew before moving on through the Magic Kingdom. I just CAN’T GET ENOUGH of that delicious beverage!! As I was cutting through the hub Move It Shake It was going on, there was no stilts friend around, but I did notice a Goofy hanging out on top of the present where the Mad Hatter usually was!

I thought it was kind of weird, but acceptable, as it’s harder to get the Hatter out, and I knew he’d be at the party that night so maybe a friend couldn’t make it in for the morning and they went with the Goof instead? I continued my way onto Adventureland and made it into the royal couple’s line before it was cut off and with not much of a wait!

Jasmine was quick to notice my bow, and commented that she really liked it, and asked if it was Mickey, I replied that it was Gaston, and gestured to my outfit. She stated after that that she liked it even more, it was super cute, yay!

The three of us chatted away, they asked if I had been to see Gaston yet, and when I said I was just coming from there, they said that was good, and asked if he was behaving today. I said he seemed to be doing pretty well so far, but the day was still young, lol.

Aladdin then said that he worked out with Gaston the other day, since Genie was busy. Jasmine was quick to say that her prince avoided the 6 dozen eggs though, he wasn’t too into that. However their little monkey friend, Abu was totally into it, although, 6 dozen eggs don’t fit too well in his mouth! Baha!!

Aladdin then said that he had heard a rumour “floating” around that they weren’t actually Gaston’s muscles, but water wings…yeah…I did agree, saying that he was probably scared of water! I mean, he can’t swim, so he pretends his water wings are his muscles to not be embarrassed, it works! Lol. Aladdin had apparently just gotten his wings off, but then spilled the beans on Jasmine and said that she still needs hers! Of course Jasmine was shocked he would say that, I mean, you’re not supposed to tell people stuff like that!

They were seriously amazing! It was yet ANOTHER great character meet of the day, and they were so into it and I was able to get so much conversation in it was awesome!! Jasmine was looking more on the pale side, and her mannerisms were very princessey, where as she’s usually pretty spunky, but I was guessing she was hanging out with someone else the previous day and it was still kinda stuck there. The two of them were seriously perfect though!!

Since the last thing on my list for the day was accomplished, I checked the time and did some math in my head. I knew I would absolutely love to watch FOTLK again, because, WHY NOT!?! So I made the plan to head over there, and then possibly rush out of there for Beauty and the Beast at DHS, then run back to the hotel to meet up with Shelley for dinner before the party!

Soon after getting on the bus for AK I decided to scrap the idea of DHS, and was sure to tell Shelley I’d be available earlier for our meet up!

What an awesome morning! Yummy breakfast and lots of great meet and greets. Merida and Gaston are high on my list for May, Jim really wanted to meet both of them last trip but we didn't get a chance. I think we will be heading straight to Merida's on our MK day. This trip is going to be so different than my last ones as I'm planning it more around meet and greets rather than rides.

You are definitely right about SM. Alpha side is a bit longer and smoother than Omega. Being in the back seat of the Omega side can be painful!

Hmmm, I swear one of these days I'm just going to pretend to have a ressie just to get the empty Main Street. When I did my KttK tour, they didn't ask for any proof at all.

"greatest cereal ever…cept for maybe cocoa puffs" NICE. :thumbsup2

Oh God the lines look WAY worse than they are before the area opens. Nope not just you.

OMG I think it's the absolute best when the "unrelated' characters reference each other like Merida did with Gaston. Just one big Disney family.

I wanna meet Fairy Godmother. I just never ever ever see her.

I agree, the "Trolley Show" is absolutely cute. I think though that since I've been to Disney so much I tend to appreciate the little things more now.

Oh man it's ridiculous how much I enjoy that Tomorrowland path. Utterly ridiculous. It's a path. But I love it.

HAHAHA your mom is super into flexing!!!

Awww so super glad you were ok with going solo for a bit.

Great character interaction! I was a little put off by a blue eyed Jasmine.

Wait...I've lived in the South my entire life and my mama never did this for me. Well, she would make anyone a hot cocoa and PB&J with the crust cut off but she NEVER made them into shapes! Sighhhhh...I was so deprived as a child. :sad2:

Loving the TR....more please?

So I've still yet to try the GM slush WOMP. I got distracted I think by getting the American Dream which I really didn't like at all.

Well, you'll be working there by the time I get back there so hopefully you can introduce me to the slush! :rotfl2:

AH yes I remember our literal run in! I remember laughing cause I had just checked a Instagram or a text from you about us being in the same place and I looked up and there you guys were!

I have a difficult time with Epcot cause I want to get there first thing to avoid lines and such but then I too finish & am bored but don't know what to do because we want to see Illuminations. I think maybe the strategy is gonna have to be 2 half Epcot days, one morning and one night! Because one really longgggg Epcot day makes Chris cranky (and me to be honest haha)!

Ah what a great MK morning! I love that you went to see the trolley show! I think we've seen it in passing a few times but we've never actually watched it!

And yay for an awesome Aladdin and Jasmine! :yay:

It was a fantastic morning, and super nice to have more of a relaxing one before a very full and awesome night of shenanigans!

Merida and Gaston are both fantastic meets! Definitely hit Merida first thing, her line does seem to get backed up a lot, though sometimes it looks a lot busier than it actually is!

YES! I refuse to sit in the back on space no lol!

Hahaha, yeah, like, empty main street photos, yes please! Lol

heh heh heh glad you got it

I really do like how they all "know" each other and can talk about each other during meet and greets, it adds to the experience, I especially love it when they make you play games between characters, especially at epcot as they know whos hanging out with who for sure over there and its like you're in on an inside joke lol

I usually ask! She usually switches off with the tremaines, or is right behind the BBB behind the castle. last week she was switching off with suzy & perla behind the castle, she's just fantastic!!

Ahahaha, it was cute to see how concerned they were with making sure I was okay being alone, like, I got his, no worries!

Great character interaction! I was a little put off by a blue eyed Jasmine.

It was a good morning of characters! And YES! Blue eyed jas really threw me off a bit too! I do understand that some of their performers don't wear the contacts, but it's just weird to see that! She was looking like she'd spent too much time INside the palace as well ….

Wait...I've lived in the South my entire life and my mama never did this for me. Well, she would make anyone a hot cocoa and PB&J with the crust cut off but she NEVER made them into shapes! Sighhhhh...I was so deprived as a child. :sad2:

Ahahahahaha #best

Yes! Thank you for reading and I'm glad you're enjoying!

Yes!! We will have all the slushes!!

It was so weird to have such a chance run in like that!! Lol. good times!

YES! I always get bored, and end up kinda cranky, like, characters are only out for so long in Epcot, so by the time their meets are done, I'm done and ready to go. I haven't seen Illuminations since Sept the year before this trip report and I have no problem with that lol.

It was cute! I've seen it in passing a few more times since and I think it might grow on me, especially since they do different versions depending on the time of year!

I started reading your report when I totally realized I follow you on instagram Anywho I just read your entire report and we were there during the same time. I cannot wait to be back and go to mnsshp. Wish I could go twice in one trip. You got some good pictures of the character performers in the shows. I will be here for more.
