DCP Fall 2014

Hi guys! I posted on here earlier, but my phone interview is tomorrow! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time, but I think I am prepared. (Let's hope anyway. Haha.)

I hope everything goes well for everyone!

Oh, I'm 19 and from Kentucky.

Thanks! I actually had to reschedule which stinks! I was supposed to take a bus home on Thursday and use my home phone for the interview since I had no cell phone but my bus got canceled! 2:00 on the 27th now! Hectic week! Haven't been on here at all!
 


Everybody is so uneasy in that FB group they are ready to jump at anybody even the ones who are trying to lighten the mod by making a joke out of things. The worst part is the people complaining about the people asking if there has been anybody accepted yet are just as annoying IMO.

Aw well, hopefully Disney will get the ball rolling soon and many of us can be put at ease and level the stress on that page a little.

I am actually entertained by reading some of the things on that group, it's a study break for a laugh or two.
I'm just glad we have the DIS, where we are attempting to be calm and collected. :-)
 
To anyone who is only listening to Disney music, wearing their ears/magical ribbons, only wearing Disney clothing, etc. as good luck.... Remember: it's only weird if it doesn't work!!

Haha, I am happy this was not just me. I had some Disney attire (even though it was crazy early and no one would see, lol). I also listened to critter country area music before my interview. I love critter country music, it is so very happy sounding!:maleficen:mickeyjum:hmghost:pooh:

I know how it is taking the bus, I take it to college everyday.

I'm a little late to this party, but I'm 21 and from Virginia (although I go to school in New York -- anyone from the city on here?)
 
I just have a question that maybe someone can help me with! I submitted my application on 2/11/14 for the Spring 14 DCP and I haven't even gotten a WBI or an email yet. I got the confirmation email, but that was the last one I got. My dashboard still says "Submission" but thats it. Is it okay that it's been almost 2 weeks since I applied? Thank you! :)
 
It means they're still reviewing your application. You may or may not move on, just sit patiently. Only time will tell if they'll move you on to the next step.

Thanks! It was definitely a bit of a stressful day. I love about 5 hours away by bus from my school and wasn't going home just for the interview but also for my Goddaughters baptism. Thankfully I was able to book a train home for later! Definitely studying up and looking forward to letting my love of Disney shine through! :tigger::simba:
 
Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since the first day of phone interviews so people should start hearing back sometime this week
