Just to confirm, if I do not need the benefit of the 0% financing, it is better to pay off my package (which I think is due 45 days ahead of time? ) with Disney gift cards that I get from Target, correct? That way I am getting a 5% discount as opposed to only 1% of visa rewards. Bear with me. Math is not my thing. Thanks.

I noticed on the Disney Visa site that the food court at POR has a 10% discount when using the card. If we have the card linked to our MB at check-in than the savings would work automatically for purchases at the food court, right??

I am not sure about that. Isn't the credit card really linked to your room? The band is just the convenience. In the end, it is a lump sum that you pay with your visa. It you do not swipe your visa at the restaurant, the 10% will not be taken off before it gets sent to your room account.

Correct! 5% is better than 1%.

Just returned and as of now this is not working. You have to pay with the card and not the band to get the discount. I did talk to a CM and it's still something that needs worked out.

I have the Disney Premier Card and I have the following questions:
1. If I bring the card and use it for charges at Disney will the discounts be applied automatically ?
or
1a. Would I have to bring the card and use it separately ?

As of now the discount only works if you use the physical card. They haven't worked that into the MB yet. I forgot to ask this ahead of time and we just returned from my trip and didn't get the discount . Would have been much but we still missed out. Wasn't until we were about to leave I overheard someone ask about it.
