It's gonna take a lot to take me away from this view! 7/10 - Finished!

Thank you for sharing this version of Frozen. Beautiful!

I always volunteer to take pics of families. Some say no, but most seem to be happy. I'm a good photographer and I know a lot of families aren't as lucky as me and probably won't be back for a while.

Awe, I miss Christmas time at WDW.

Oh wow!! I love all of your photos of Main Street and all of the little details! One day when we go adult only, I'll be able to stroll down Main Street and enjoy it like you did instead of running to the next ride!! :rolleyes1

Your photos are amazing as usual!! I think you are headed to Haunted Mansion or maybe Hall of Presidents!
Thanks :goodvibes I really enjoy taking the photographic tour sometimes, it's a nice way to notice all the details! We went with a crowd once and it was always "Wendy, what next?" haha so I have some idea of what the running to the next ride is like!

Yup, Elsa is here and she clearly has the gloves off.
(I'm totally watching that again, you know, as a tribute to the storm a-raging outside!)

YAY Frozen. I am totally killing the soundtrack.
I love it! I'm trying to learn to play Let It Go on the guitar... should only take me 4 years or so to learn!

Oh no, that power walking had some lingering effects. I did that power walk a few times too. Not fun.
No, not fun indeed, but the hot water washed the pain away!

Wow, that Tonga Toast sure is popular. It would have to be for be to bypass MK, even for a bit.
Have you never?? Omg Rob! Get yourself some Tonga Toast!

Oh I love the little trolley shows so much. Shame more people don't stop to watch (sometimes), but better for me. It's just so Magic Kingdom.
Agreed. :thumbsup2

Ahh the Roy Statue. It would be easier to find if they'd stop moving it.
Ok, so I'm not crazy? They do move it? That explains a lot!

Bahaha you can always spot the Canadians. Long sleeve shirts, scarves... and shorts. :thumbsup2
Gotta be ready in case you over heat, right? We Canucks know how to dress in layers!

Wendy, you will never bore anyone with your photos. Trust me!!! Ahhh so pretty.
:goodvibes Glad to hear!

I'm thinking Haunted Mansion up next. popcorn::

I prefer Disney with a sweatshirt on, to be honest. Although the night I was there and it was 43 was a bit much! :scared1:
It was my first time ever at Disney with a sweatshirt on! It was weird. My arms missed the air. :rotfl2:

If by boring us with pics you mean, posting awesome pics that I want to steal and use as PC backgrounds, then sure, you're boring me. :rotfl:
Haha thanks, I'm glad to hear it. I never want to cross the line of too many pictures of basically the same thing. :lmao:

I'm guessing... Haunted Mansion? Ack! 24 days until I get to ride!
Jealous! But so glad your knee will be up and running. :thumbsup2

Love the Trolley Show on Main Street! I caught it for the first time in October.

You know, every trip I vow to find the bench with Roy and Minnie and every time I fail to remember to look for it. Making another mental note right now. We'll see if it sticks. ;)
Me too, I especially loved the Christmas spin on it!
I have also failed every other trip! I'm so glad I remembered this time, it's cute.

I loved it, had to share.

I always get a kick out of the ones who look so suspicious, but I usually find that when they see me holding my own camera, it doesn't look so much like I'm trying to steal theirs! :rotfl2:

Awe, I miss Christmas time at WDW.

Cold. That's what I remember about that Wednesday in November. Of course it was about 60 degrees warmer than the weather we're currently having here in Wisconsin.

Ohhh I know, I'd trade that "cold" day in Magic Kingdom for the weather we're having right now in a heartbeat! :lmao:

Gorgeous pictures!!! I'm glad you had a "photography morning" The Christmas decorations are incredible.

The photopass pictures are great, too. I love all of the holiday borders. That is the first time I have seen the "Joy from the World" :thumbsup2

Sorry it was too dark to see animals.

Kona is my favorite breakfast. Tonga Toast is delish, but WAY too sweet for me. I am a big fan of the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes and even better when I can split with someone.

I always try to offer to take pictures of couples/families (much to the annoyance of my family). A couple of years ago on a trip to Mexico, we were on a pier and I offered to take a picture of a couple there. When I went to hand back the camera, the woman dropped it, the battery cover popped off and the batteries rolled off the pier. I felt horrible that the camera fell, the batteries were gone, but mostly that the batteries ended up in the water. :scared1:

Hope you didn't get too snowed in! There's something exciting about a snow storm....but it quickly wears off after you've been cooped up inside too long!

That breakfast looks SO good...we need to do breakfast at the Poly one of these trips.

Great detail photos at MK...there are always beautiful photo ops, but especially at Christmas!

HI!
I'm a little late to the party!
I followed your PTR...I commented a little...I mostly lurked!

We overlapped our trips by a few days....I looked for you in my pictures, but I dont see you..! I haven't spotted myself in any of yours..!

We loved the AKL! I had the same exact thought as you on the Zebra Domes.. they are amazing!!
We also called them Donkeys...yeah, I now know there are called Somali Wild! cool

Mr Banks was FANTASTIC! the academy got it wrong with that one...I haven't seen Frozen yet!! I just cant seem to get to see it!! UGH!

I found it very cold...brrr! but I think 80 degrees is cold...so you can imagine I spend most of my days here in Boston freezing..even in the Summer!
I need to move to Florida!

looking forward to reading more...I always take a trip with the intent to keep a journal and do a TR, but the journal never ends up getting written in no TR ever get written...maybe my next trip...!!

Thanks :goodvibes I love the decorations, I wanted to document every detail possible!

The photopass pictures are great, too. I love all of the holiday borders. That is the first time I have seen the "Joy from the World" :thumbsup2
That was the first I'd seen of that one too! I loved it.

Sorry it was too dark to see animals.
Ahh well, I can't complain at all, I had lots of opportunities to see them!

Kona is my favorite breakfast. Tonga Toast is delish, but WAY too sweet for me. I am a big fan of the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes and even better when I can split with someone.
I always think of you when I'm at Kona, and your Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes. I even told Johnny this time about how it's your favourite, just to see if he might want to order it (but no, he had to stick with his Tonga Toast! :rotfl2: )

Oh no! At least it was only the batteries, could have been much worse! I'm always nervous about handling other people's cameras (ironically, considering my job!) but they usually look a whole lot more terrified to touch mine! :lmao:

The snow wasn't all that bad fortunately! We dug out no problem. :thumbsup2 I love a good snow storm (but like you said, I go crazy being cooped up too!)
Mmmmm I highly recommend Kona breakfast to anyone and everyone! Tonga Toast is so delicious!
Agreed, Magic Kingdom is beautiful, Magic Kingdom at Christmas is a whole other level of incredible.

Hello and :welcome: so glad to have you! You're not very late, we only just started Day 2 :thumbsup2

We overlapped our trips by a few days....I looked for you in my pictures, but I dont see you..! I haven't spotted myself in any of yours..!
There are so many more to come, we may overlap yet!

We loved the AKL! I had the same exact thought as you on the Zebra Domes.. they are amazing!!

We loved AKL, and the zebra domes, but those Somalis just stole my heart! The kind faces, I just wanted to snuffle their pretty noses!

Mr Banks was FANTASTIC! the academy got it wrong with that one...I haven't seen Frozen yet!! I just cant seem to get to see it!! UGH!
Agreed, what a story. And Frozen is great too, hope you get to see it soon!

I found it very cold...brrr! but I think 80 degrees is cold...so you can imagine I spend most of my days here in Boston freezing..even in the Summer!
I need to move to Florida!
I don't mind the cold... once I've acclimated to it! I'm definitely fit for the North, I couldn't handle the heat all the time. :lmao:

looking forward to reading more...I always take a trip with the intent to keep a journal and do a TR, but the journal never ends up getting written in no TR ever get written...maybe my next trip...!!
I love writing TRs because I often go back and re-read them and re-live my trips! It's kind of therapeutic to come home from Disney and write about it somehow. :thumbsup2

That Tonga Toast is worth waking up early for. ::yes:: The perfect meal before a morning in the MK.

Speaking of the Magic Kingdom, it looks like you both had a nice, relaxing morning. It can be so hard to remember to slow down and just take in the scenery, but it looks like you had no issues with that. And finding the partners statue was a nice perk. I do love that bench; I don't think a lot of guests fully appreciate Roy (and Minnie:lmao:) so I think that spot gets overlooked quite often.

How did I miss this update? Again?

You look so cute in your glasses.

I love all the Christmas pictures. It's hard to believe that I was in MK not long before you and it looked so different. Christmas is just so festive - I miss it!

I'm guessing your first ride is HM!

That tonga toast looks so yummy!

The park looks so empty.

So so fun to see you have a new ticker....I am trying really hard to get a new one of my own as well. Trying to convince hubby o spend a little money on a just adults trip while daughter is on vacation with my a parents??? HMMM??

Tonga Toast is on my list for sure.

Looks like you are headed to Haunted Mansion near Liberty Square.

Love the photos..especially some of the fun holiday ones- the ornament with castle in back...very pretty.

Agreed x2!

It was wonderful to take it easy and enjoy the sights. :thumbsup2

Aww thanks! I kind of like them, I must admit. :3dglasses

I love all the Christmas pictures. It's hard to believe that I was in MK not long before you and it looked so different. Christmas is just so festive - I miss it!
I had missed it too, I was glad to get to see it again! It's incredible and magical. pixiedust:

I'm guessing your first ride is HM!
That would be a very good guess.

That tonga toast looks so yummy!
Oh, oh, oh, it was indeed!

The park looks so empty.
It wasn't too bad! We had good luck with crowds.

So so fun to see you have a new ticker....I am trying really hard to get a new one of my own as well. Trying to convince hubby o spend a little money on a just adults trip while daughter is on vacation with my a parents??? HMMM??
Ohhhh now that sounds like a great time for a trip for two! Hope you get your new ticker soon :thumbsup2

Tonga Toast is on my list for sure.
It's heavenly! :lovestruc

Looks like you are headed to Haunted Mansion near Liberty Square.
An excellent guess. ;)

Love the photos..especially some of the fun holiday ones- the ornament with castle in back...very pretty.
Thanks! It was nice to be able to stretch our photographic muscles that morning. :goodvibes

Hello again! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I certainly can't complain!

The camera/print shop where I work is moving. It's absolutely the best thing to happen for us, we were sharing a building... anyway, the current arrangement didn't turn out the way we'd hoped. The new place is much newer, larger, cleaner (no mold! Yay! :rolleyes2 ) no drug dealers living upstairs (yeah. Only wish I were joking...) and we will have the whole place to ourselves. We have to move quick, but it will be so worth it when it's over and we're settled. I hope to have an update on that for you soon, we need to be out of our building by Feb. 15th! It's turning into a parking lot. Again, there could be no better outcome!

Anyway, enough about that! On with the show!

Wednesday, November 13
"No Waits, No Worries"

We had just walked right down the middle of Main St. USA and were wondering what to do next. We swung a left toward Liberty Square and if you guessed we were on our way to the Haunted Mansion, you were right!

We took the scenic route through the graveyard. I love the interactive queue, it's so fun!

There was almost no one in line at all so we didn't take too much time playing. In no time at all we were here:

I tried taking a few photos in there, but even with my f1.8 lens it was really dark. I guess I need a nice 34mm f1.4! :rotfl2:

You know, for a house full of ghosts and dead things, I always come out of there with the biggest smile on my face.

I go back and forth, but more often than not the Haunted Mansion is my favourite ride!

Well, where to next? We don't generally plan too much of our day, preferring to just head in whatever direction catches our eye.

Hmm, speaking of catching our eyes! What's that in the distance? Could it be another new addition to the park I hadn't seen yet?

I've never been more excited to see a washroom I didn't need!

What an adorable area.

We looked for Pascals briefly but only spotted one! And I looked them up online before we left. He's a tough little bugger.

I loved the Wanted posters.

(Continued in next post)

We still weren't due for any FP+ so we crossed the park, taking our good ole' time and taking pics along the way.

I was loving all the little Christmas touches!

We figured it was time for a spin on another favourite!

We had no wait at all and soon we were cruising. I, of course, got the obligatory on-ride-foot-shot!

Looking at this picture I'm reminded that my sandals didn't work out quite so well as my last pair of sanuks. These had more material and it was really tight, so much that after one day of wearing them, my foot felt bruised. Also the left one, where it's gathered to go between your toes, had a small sharp something that scraped a tiny spot on my foot. Although the soles were great, I wasn't particularly happy with the sandals! :sad2:

I put my camera down and my head back and enjoyed the ride after that. The weather at that point was great -- nice and cool. I did need to keep my sweater on though!

After the Peoplemover, we had a bit of time before we were finally due at our first FP+ so we didn't go too far. Keeping with the slow, easy-going morning, we went here and had zero wait:

... and again, we relaxed! It was turning out to be such a great morning for us, so wonderfully easy going. No crowds, no waits, no fuss.

When we were out of the theatre we were ready for FP+ #1!

Oh yes! Buzz Lightyear ftw!

I didn't take any more pictures, not even of the scores! I can guarantee you that Johnny beat the pants off me and had the best in vehicle. I don't remember the numbers though.

We were starting to get hungry. It was about 11:00 in Florida, but at home it was 12:00 and lunch time! We made a plan to take the long route to our lunch destination. We went this way:

Then this way:

Then we snuck through here:

And finally, after so much waiting, so much excitement, we could see our lunch destination in the distance:

Up next: Lunch at BOG and our reviews!

Um... Drug Dealers??? Just... wow. :scared1:

Wendy, you're HM photos are fantastic. I'm taking particular note of the bride, as you really captured her in full on insanity.

Ooh I LOVE that Rapunzel tower photo. Great angle. Well, I love all your pictures.

OMG those Pascals are ridiculously hard to find. So frustrating, lol.

Well, you're ganna have a fan in Brenda going from Peoplemover to CoP. You know, I think the thing I love about CoP the most is it's "WALT DISNEY'S" Carousel of Progress. Honestly, how many attractions remain that are true Walt attractions?

Excited for your BoG experience!! :hyper:

Yay for no mold and drug dealers! :worried:

Nice photos in these updates!! We missed Carousel of Progress on our last trip --- love that ride!

Yep, I'd have to agree, your new shop sounds like a better place. :rotfl2:

Great HM photos, especially the one with the moving coffin.

I'm jealous of your easygoing pace at MK. It must have been nice, spending the morning doing the slower attractions and resting your feet for a bit. You were definitely enjoying your time in Disney and making sure not to miss anything.

Can't wait to hear what you thought of BoG!

Congratulations and Good Luck on the move of the camera shop. I am so glad it is a win-win. Do you have to do a lot of the packing?

This picture makes me smile! We were at this scene during the backstage part of the class trip we took. We were under the HM doom buggies, and face to face with the birthday girl.

What a fantastic morning!!!

I love the nice, slow, easy, relaxed pace. What is that like???

The Tangled and B&TB areas just look so gorgeous!

The pictures of the train are awesome!!! Well, of course all the pictures are, but I really loved those.

CAN'T WAIT for your lunch!
