I almost booked something and just happened to notice the day of the week on the calendar! My one this year and 2 years ago departed on a Thurs and came home on a Sunday--much better for vacations!! When did this change? Any idea if it will be permanent (we were also thinking of 2016)?

Thanks!

This was brought up sometime last year. My DH and I were considering another adults only trip on the Dream but with the new schedule, that will not be possible. :sad2: I don't know if it will stay this way or if it will change back.

The change starts in Oct 2014 when the Magic comes back to PC and does the 7 night cruises. Fantasy will be on Sat, Magic on Sun, and Dream on Mon and Fri.

Ah--is the Magic going to stay in PC for the near future--all 3 there? This might alter our choice of lines so just trying to figure out if this may be permanent, at least for the next few years. So no Disney boats in Miami?

And OT--"main seating" is the first dining time, right?? I just looked at our itinerary for this April and that's what it said but I really thought I had booked early dining so hope I didn't mess up!

Wonder is out of Miami - at least in February 2015.

I wish the four day on the Dream was over the weekend instead of the three day. I would like to do a land/sea but would want to end with the cruise. Three days is just too short. We need at least 4 nights. Due to our work/school schedules have the four day leave on a Sunday or Monday doesn't provide the most optimum travel days for people with kids in school.

I put this on my comment card every sailing and any time I'm given a survey.

You can tell I don't read the cruise info until just before we cruise!!! So as of Feb 2015 all 4 boats will be on East Coast with Magic, Dream, Fantasy in PC and Wonder in Miami?

Is their new boat coming soon or are they just putting Wonder on the East Coast for a short time--sounds strange there wouldn't be one on West Coast (unless I'm misunderstanding PP).

Thanks!

The Wonder has been going out to the West coast during the summers.

No new boats in the works that I know of.

I was just surprised there would be no boat on the West Coast during the winter--I thought they left one there to do southern routes in the winter.

Nope...not every year in winter. They do have the Wonder do Alaska during the summer.

I was hoping for the Magic to come back to NYC for some portion of the summer/fall in coming years.

Thanks for this. I was wondering the same as the OP when I looked at December 2014 cruises. We were booked for a 3 night this past December and had to reschedule. When I looked at December 2014 dates, I noticed the sail date was 12/19, which was the same date we were to sail in 2013, which was a Thursday. As I looked closer, I noticed the 19th was a Friday, with the 4 night sailing on Monday instead of Sunday. With that said, I ended up booking the 4 night for this year as the cost was only $200 more than the 3 night.

They did for a couple years, but ended up cancelling the rest of the season's cruises and transferred the Wonder to Galveston. The MR cruises just weren't selling and DCL kept having to offer KSF deals so they weren't making any money. Servers have told us there was one seating for dinner due to not enough guests for a second seating.

I would so hate having to have early seating. I always request late seating.

I am so happy that the 3 day is over a weekend we live in FL and now we can do a weekend getaway we are booked for
Feb 13 2015! We can not wait! it's going to be our 2x on the Dream!

Do they have the fireworks on a 3 night cruise. I just read a trip report and they made no mention of it.
