Podcast Cruise 5.0 - Official Thread

Jodi was onboard with her family the entire cruise. She was quite "ordinary" when not performing. We spotted her on CC doing the typical mommy thing. Just a regular person.

My family and I are very excited to be a part of the podcast 5.0 cruise! We just took our very first family vacation this past June on the Disney Fantasy we so much enjoyed it. This will be my wife and I's 3rd Disney cruise and the first time on the Magic. We will be in room 7034 which will mark the first time we have ever had a verandah! The kids will find out on Christmas morning which is exactly how we told them about our cruise on the Fantasy last year. We love Disney and l look forward to meeting other DIS followers as well.

I submitted my request to be part of this cruise via the Dreams web site and direct e-mail to Tracey yesterday but still have not heard a peep from anyone. Since the podcast mentioned prices going up, I would like to make sure current prices get locked in. I don't want to pester them but also don't want to wait too long.

Tracey is wonderful to work with and she will get back to you as soon as she can. She typically responds within a 24 hour time span so give her a little bit more time. I just locked into mine on Monday and I thought the prices were still very good.

Hi Everyone! We are currently booked for the PCC 5.0 thanks to a nice combination of a strong desire to do a PCC, wanting to see the Re-imagineered Magic, and the change in Disney's Dummy Reservation rules.

As I mentioned, this will be our first podcast event of any type. I am a relatively quiet member on these boards, and occasionally provide my opinion on the DCL and DVC boards. This will be our 5th cruise with Disney, second sailing on the Magic, and first time on a Western cruise.

We are 90% sure we are sticking with this cruise. We have some concerns about pulling the kids out of school for the week, and will finalize our decision soon. Once we land on our decision I will check back more frequently!

Is there anyone else out there going on the cruise living in the horrible snow and ice belt that cant wait for "at least" summer to come? Then we would be that much closer to the cruise.

I had my eye on this cruise ever since DCL released the dates.
I was so happy to find out that that podcast cruise 5.0 was for this date , I had Tracey move my dummy date over to this one. I'm just hoping that my vacation request at work comes through. I wouldn't want to miss this, as like Pete I'll be celebrating my birthday on this cruise also.
Most likely I'l be travelling with my mum Beatrice. I had to cancel my DD17, since she will be going to college this year.
We will be in cabin 8532.

Me....I am sitting at work watching WInter Storm NIko continue to bring on the snow. I do so love having to get up an extra hour in order to get to work on time in these conditions. OY!

In our city in Michigan, we have had over 100 inches of snow...so far...this year. Is their any doubt we can't wait for the cruise? Hang in there. We will have to.
