Hello everyone, and welcome to my February 10-17th pre trip report! Pull up a chair and remember to keep your hands, arms feet and legs inside the thread at all times, and watch your children. And please make sure you remove..your high heeled shoes. :rolleyes1 :lmao:

So, onwards we go! :3dglasses

My name is Emma, and I'm a massive fan of Disney and the theme parks and the movies, have been since I was a wee little girl watching our Toy Story and Lion King VHS tapes. popcorn::

The How
This trip came about thanks to a condition I'm sure all DISers are familiar with. Post Disney Depression. I just missed it so much..well..you also all know the only cure for Post Disney Depression. :thumbsup2

I was pricing up out of interest to get a idea for our 2015 trip, and Disney UK were offering free dining. And for very reasonable rates. It felt like I was torturing myself with planning a holiday still so far away, however, I somehow managed to get Mum looking too...

She figured that we could possibly get away with going again if 1. It was only us two and 2. We only went for a week. Well, good enough for me!

After looking at several different dates, resorts and deals we eventually decided on Caribbean Beach Resort from February 10th-17th, with 14 day (for the price of 7 days) Ultimate tickets and with free QSDP plus a $200 gift card, thanks to Disney UK and their awesome offers. Flights are with Virgin Atlantic, as per usual.

But Mum had another trick up her sleeve. I came down one afternoon to find her researching restaurants. Why? She was upgrading us to the table service DDP!! This will likely be our only time doing it as to be honest, we're not saving much and I did notice that once all our ADRs were booked, it felt a little more scheduled then I would have liked.

Still, if I can eat plenty of these:

And these:

(Love those carrot cake cookies!)
then I'll be a surely happy Emma! :D

The Who
Who's going? Well, just Mum and I! We thought it would be nice to have a girly trip with just the two of us, and it's the only way onsite would work for us.

Here's me, hugging Eeyore <3

Our plans to follow in next post!

Our plans: (including ADRs and FP+s!)

10th Feb-
Get train up to Gatwick, fly to MCO, get the Magical Express, unpack, eat, sleep! It'll be a long long flight from England so we won't be up to much this evening. Maybe DTD if we feel up to it to collect our $200 gift card?

11th Feb-
Parks: DHS, maybe MK to see the parade to see if Talking Mickey is there if I feel up to it.
FP+: TSM- 2-3pm, Star Tours- 3:35pm-4:35pm, TOT- 5:10pm-6:10pm
Meals/snacks: Probably Mickey waffle for breakfast at resort, CS lunch at ABC Commissary (Mum picked that one, not me), TS dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 7pm. Definitely a carrot cake cookie for a snack somewhere along the line too!
Other: Picking up car and ECV for Mum as she cannot walk around the theme parks all day anymore, visiting Walmart in the morning for a few bits.

12th Feb-
Parks: Epcot
FP+: Living With The Land- 12:40-1:40pm, Spaceship Earth- 2:25-3:25pm, Test Track- 3:55-4:55pm
Meals/snacks: Breakfast will most likely be at our resort, lunch, I don't know. I fancy trying Spice Tree Table. Our dinner is at Coral Reef at 7:05pm.
Other: I really want to see Illuminations.

13th Feb-
Parks: Animal Kingdom
FP+: Dinosaur- 1:30-2:30pm, Expedition Everest- 3:10-4:10pm, Kilimanjaro Safaris- 4:30-5:30pm
Meals/snacks: Breakfast at Boma in AKL at 8:30am (Will be so lovely to visit this resort, I wish we could stay at AKV again! :cloud9::lovestruc), lunch at a CS, but I don't think we're going to be too hungry because of our dinner at Raglan Road at 7pm.
Other: Spend morning leisurely exploring park, explore DTD at night! Get lost in World Of Disney no doubt.

14th Feb- (Mum's birthday!)
Parks: Magic Kingdom, yay! Open until 1am this day. :wizard:
FP+: BTMR- 9:20-10-20am (we might have to rush this one, oops), Haunted Mansion- 11am-12pm, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- 12:45-1:45pm
Meals/snacks: Breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:35am (Yay getting to go down a empty Main Street and most of all, HUG EEYORE :lovestruc), lunch at some random CS place or just snacks, dinner at Kona Cafe at 7pm
Other: Enjoy plenty of magic!

15th Feb-
Parks: MK in the evening
FP+: Peter Pan's Flight- 9-10pm, Jungle Cruise- 10-11pm, Pirates- 11:25pm-12:25am
Meals/snacks: Breakfast at our resort, lunch at POR's food court, dinner at Sweet Tomatoes.
Other: Mini golf in the morning, exploring POR at lunchtime and shopping in the afternoon. A movie at our resort after dinner too! (oh the joys of a rental car!)

16th Feb-
Parks: Epcot, MK
FP+: Living With The Land (yes, again. I wish Maelstrom wasn't a tier 1 attraction.)- 12pm-1pm, Soarin-1:05-2:05pm, Mission: Space- 2:50pm-3:50pm
Meals/snacks: Breakfast at resort, lunch in World Showcase, dinner at Chef Mickey's at 6:45pm
Other: Over to MK after dinner to enjoy EMH until 3am and our last night. :( Mum is dropping back our car as we are going back to the airport on the Magical Express.

17th Feb-
One last Mickey waffle for breakfast, then check out and enjoy last morning and afternoon at our resort. ME to airport, grab dinner there and a Krispy Kreme doughnut for breakfast and then catch flight home. Land next morning at Gatwick and then get train home.

I love the plans :goodvibes And :bday: to your Mom! Valentine's Day SWEET

And I HAVE to try that carrot cake cookie this summer!:hyper:

Hurray! Have a great time, maybe we'll bump into you in the parks! (We are also going without Daddy (DH is working) and as much as we'll miss him, we'll do our very best to try to have fun anyway ;)

Yep, we have a pretty packed schedule. Mum's birthday is always why we go that week in Feb, looking forward to finally going for MY birthday next year.

Following along! :goodvibes

Welcome! Thanks for reading and following :)

Welcome! Haha, maybe we will. LOL, yeah. It'll be a different type of holiday without my Dad but we'll have fun anyway.

Just a few minor changes to our FP+s:
MK: Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- 11am-12pm, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- 4pm-5pm, Haunted Mansion- 10pm-11pm
Epcot on the 16th: Changed Mission:Space FP+ to Spaceship Earth at 2:50pm-3:50pm, Soarin at 4pm-5pm

We should have a bit more flexibility to also do rides in between FP+ times and not have to rush to do BTMR right after breakfast.

Also, I may visit the Boardwalk after Epcot to get my hands on one of those cute little Mickey cakes or some ice cream.

I don't even want to imagine how many changes I'll make to FP ;) Your smart to do the FP afternoon..the mornings are never as crowded so I imagine you'll get lots done:dance3:

LOL, yeah. We've changed around our FP+ quite a bit since making them back in December. And yeah, having free mornings to get on rides with hopefully shortish lines should be good. I think between the whole day at MK and then doing a couple of evenings there, we should get everything we want done. Epcot and DHS is easier because there's less rides.

:thumbsup2 For us DHS is TSM, ToT(for everyone except DH and DS5) and Fantasmic. Night EMH at MK we have been able to do all the headliners:goodvibes
