Hollywood and Vine - Characters

I've never been to Hollywood and Vine...planning on going on my Sept trip (I have two kids that LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney Jr). Does anyone have an updated list of which characters we will see?

Also, what is your opinion on the food? Honestly, we are going there for the character experience, so I'm not expecting anything over the top - just curious what the general opinion is. What's better: lunch -vs- dinner?

In September, the characters will be Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake, and Handy Manny. Doc and Sofia begin their stay at H&V on January 26th.

I was hoping desperatly for Sofia the First, Doc and Jake - so this will be a huge WIN for the kids! Thanks so much!

Both lunch and dinner are buffet style.

Lunch has fewer food selection and more basic stuff. Characters are there.

Dinner has more different food selection and better stuff. However, no characters are there.

This was my kids' favorite character meal. The character interactions were so fun! I don't know about lunch or dinner, but breakfast was really good. We are planning to go back on our next trip!

Thanks! Taking our Granddaughter there for breakfast on the 28th of this month. Doc McStuffin is her favorite character at the moment. She'll probably be so excited she won't eat a bite!

So excited that Sophia and doc joined the character list! We originally made an ADR for there bc jake was part of it and jake is 1 of my sons absolute favorites! But when I told him about Sophia and doc he started jumping up and down lol he loves all the disney junior characters! I think this breakfast will be right up there with his tigger breakfast lol. This is our 3rd time going to wdw with my son and the tigger breakfast is always a must do for us since tigger is my sons hero lol...but the disney junior breakfast I think is going to be right up there with tigger lol
