Ready or not we went... and survived! Fantasy Oct 26-Nov 1

Can't believe they don't do trick or treating but it's always fun to dress up, hope my baby feels the same way in the future so I can dress her as a Disney Princess. Hubby and I dressed as Bonnie and Clyde once but not as fancy as that.

I know! I was really looking forward to the trick or treating. I wonder if they still do it on the Magic? I asked Gabe if I could dress him up a princess and he almost disowned me! :rotfl:

Castaway Cay!

Oh how I love and hate this day. It is the best and the saddest since we know we have to pack up to leave. We actually slept in a little on this morning! It may or may not have had anything to do with Burt Reynolds.:rolleyes1 We quickly got ready and went to breakfast because we wanted to get to off the ship as soon as possible. We left breakfast and headed straight for deck 1 but people were heading back saying they needed their picture ID. I always thought that you didn’t need to bring any ID since there were no inhabitants here but oh well… Nate and Cassie headed back up to get the ID while the boys and I waited. Finally they returned with the ID’s and we headed to the tram which just arrived as we were walking toward the area. Our phone was acting a bit weird not letting us call anyone and the battery showed that it was low after charging all night. These phones did nothing but frustrate me the whole trip. I’m not a texter to begin with so using these without a keyboard was driving me mental.:headache: We did bump into Joh and she had just dropped Daniel off at whatever he was doing and then she was heading to Serenity Bay. ( I’ve yet to see it!)We venture off to find a spot on the beach. During this time we got a text from Jen and Rob saying that they had just arrived on the tram so we waited for them before parking on the beach. While we were finding a spot we saw a wedding going on. Who could ask for a more beautiful place to be wed! The beach is just breathtaking…. exactly how I remembered it. It was not long before all the others joined us. We were only missing Wendy and Rich and Joh and family but they were too busy enjoying Serenity Bay. I always mean to go because you can sign your kids in to the clubs there and head over but this is always the best family day and I don’t WANT to leave my kids. One of these days I will see Serenity Bay when they don't want to spend it with me. :sad1:

Here are just a few pics of my millions of Castaway!

If you look closely Evan Cassie and I are heading towards Pelican Plunge!

Here Cassie and I are getting ready to race. Since I picked the fast slide she got a head start.

Here’s Cassie winning

If you ever feel the need for a salt water colonic… this would be the way to go!

This one gets my vote for cutest pic of the week. Little Anna and Logan.

Me and Emma

Evan found a hermit crab!

Luke helping Anna to the beach.

Most of the gang

Poor Luke needed a rest because he was a little chaffed by the end of the day. His thighs were fire engine red… I always mean to bring baby powder!

What a great day and great memories!

Next up…. The last supper.

Oh man, I am so behind!!!

LOVE the cabin crawl! I've heard of the visiting different cabins before but never heard of adding poker to the mix! LOVE IT!!! Gotta do that one time!!! :thumbsup2

I agree with Nanc, if I was in that suite, I would never leave LOL! :cloud9:

Love the Halloween pics! You all look very groovy :goodvibes

Oh Castaway Cay

Next time we will be sitting where you did on that first beach! The second beach was so ridiculously PACKED!!! :scared1: Never again!!!

Oh the captain! Hahaha, oh yeah! I didn't even know who our captain was, never even thought of it until that photo you posted :lmao: Thanks for showing me, I am assuming he was ours too :p

I can't believe it's almost done!!!

Ya it was fun and it was the perfect amount of people too! The first cabin crawl we had over 60 people and had to use 2 decks of cards. That was on a Carnival cruise and we were threatened by security because we were too loud.

I had a hard time leaving myself!

Haha I figured you would have know who the Captain was... although I can't remember his name.

I can't believe it's almost done!!!

I know... I'm sad about almost being done! :sad2: And you're not even on the ship yet!

all caught up!:thumbsup2

Taylor Mason was on our cruise in 2005. We thought he was great!:lmao:

Wow that cabin crawl looks like fun! Nice that you got to see Robins and my cabin from the cruise that followed yours!. Perhaps that was your red br@ we found under the chair? :rotfl::rotfl2: Now theres a mystery that may never get solved!popcorn::

You got a Captain picture eh? Robin spent the week fawning over an officer named Daniel. :headache: He was on our 1st Disney cruise in 2001. Robin about melted when she got a picture with him.:sad1::headache:

Castaway Cay is the best! We got to see a wedding there in 2008. Robin kept yelling out to the bride, "You"ll be sorry"!
We love the adult beach but always hit the family beach for a few hours later before getting back on the ship.

:rotfl2:Speaking of red br@....the real mystery is where you trip report might be!

I was looking for Pierre so I could take a pic and tag Robin in it but didn't see him. Glad to see she moved on since he wasn't there :lmao: I DID get that pic of Jessica Rabbit for you last time, I figured it was Robins turn ;)

One of these days I will see the adult beach... We are considering skipping Carnival this year and sailing with Disney instead. So I may get to see it THIS year :cloud9:

The Last supper

We got back to our rooms after our heavenly day at Castaway and after showering started packing up to leave.:sad1: It’s never done as neatly as when we are preparing to leave FOR vacation. We got quite a bit done before we left for dinner. We were dining at the Royal Court for our last meal, which was nice since we pretty much had that back room all to ourselves. There was a lot of mingling and loud chatting and a bit of pilfering…. Wendy missed someone on her souvenir list perhaps. :confused3

The boys pretty much made themselves at home…:rotfl:

They all look at little pinkish.

Wasn’t sure at first if this was before or after supper but the chocolate face gives it away.

So after supper we stopped off at shutters because I really wanted the picture of the ladies. It wasn’t in my folder and they said that it would have only gone to one folder but we could order it. I was with my mom and she wanted one as well so we ordered 2 copies and they said it would be ready the next morning. My mom kept checking her folder over the week and there was never a picture in it and nothing would show up when she swiped her card. So she asked them when we ordered the picture why she wouldn’t have ANY pictures. They thought that was quite strange as well. They asked about the embarkation photo but my mom said that my dad was in such a hurry to get on the ship and knowing that he had not intended to buy that photo he passed on getting the picture taken. Well that is the photo that they go off of for the facial recognition. So people never pass on that embarkation photo! They have an area of extra photos that they don’t know where they belong so my mom found her pirate night photo and put that one in her folder. That way it would ready for her to buy the next day when we picked up our formal night photos. It kinda sucked that she didn’t have any photos but it was lucky for me. She had a whole bunch of free photo coupons from her travel agent and couldn’t use them so she let me have the remainder. I was very grateful and got all the pictures that I wanted which were all of 4. I was a little disappointed in the lack of photos this time around. We did not see one photographer on Castaway Cay this trip. Some of our best photos are from them on previous cruises and this cruise…. nothing. This was actually kind of good as we were going to splurge this trip and buy the CD but it was not worth it when there were only 4 pictures that I wanted….and they were FREE!

So back to the room to finish up packing and we decided to skip the show that night as we had too much to do. Once we were finished we decided to head to the pool and ride the Aquaduck a few more times. It was pretty cool riding at night! We met up with our friends and spent some time in the hot tub. This was my first time in the hot tub and didn’t know about the glass bottom. It was pretty cool! I wish I had have seen it during the day. After we were done with the hot tub we tried to go one more time on the Aquaduck but sadly it was closed. So we played cards instead. Dutch Blitz was a favourite last year so we played a few rounds of that. Look at the concentration!

Luke was pretty tired as I think this was the latest he had stayed up all week.

I think it was around midnight before we left to head back to the cabin and we said some goodbyes as this was the last time we would see them for quite some time.

We still have one more day though before we had to head home.

Next up… Say it ain’t so. The official OFFICIAL last day

The last night is always so sad. Too bad about your mom's pics but it worked out for you!

Jill in CO

LOL, that pic of Luke is PRICELESS!!! :goodvibes :lmao:

Never heard of these free photo coupons! You must tell me about them when you have a minute! ;) :p

Sigh, the morning you leave the ship always sucks  One of these days I want to do a Back to Back so they can't kick me off! At least not the first time :goodvibes

Great trip report! Where in Ontario are you? We are in waterloo. In May we are going on the fantasy western (go,cozumel and Falmouth), can't wait!

I know! I've been dragging my feet on my last post because then it really is over lol. She was able to find 1 pic that she wanted from pirate night so that's good at least but I was certainly grateful for the pics that I got!

So, NOW we know why we didn't get one of those cool carriage baskets a week later. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl:

Char, I just can't get over how your little guy looks so much like Nate! They could be book ends! :goodvibes

Can't wait to see all those pictures of you guys up on deck on Saturday morning (around 5:00 am) taking pictures of us waving at you from the pier close to Grills. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1
