Can I use dining credits over three days if staying two nights?

I am sorry if this has been covered - I used the search function but couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. We are checking in on 3/20, but we plan to be at the park at rope drop that morning (we live in Florida). We check out on 3/22. I understand that means we will only get 2 "nights" worth of credits on the dining plan, but we are going to be there 3 days. Can we use those 2 nights of credits on the 20th, 21st and 22nd??

I'm not 100% on this but you may have to check in at your resort before being able to use the credits. I do know that you can use them all day on the day you check out but just don't know about using them before you check in.

I called Disney dining and they said that we would show up at the resort before rope drop, register, have them hold our bags until a room is ready, and upon registration our credits are available. So I'll be able to use the two nights' worth over all three days

Yes, dining plan credits are good from when you check in (in your case, the 20th) until 11:59 pm on the day you check out (the 22nd). You can use them in any combination you want (e.g., you use all of them up on the first day if you wanted, you could save them all for check-out day, or you could use one per day).

You most certainly can stretch the plan! Your credits are good from your check-in day until 11:59pm the day you check out. I asked this same question a few months ago and we're stretching our 6 day plan to cover all 7 days.

That's what we plan to do. $200 for 3 days isn't that bad, actually, considering we could use two table service credits per day!

Yes you can use your points up to 14 days. I had a meal to go for the plan ride home too.

You pay for the number of nights of your stay, not the number of days. So for a 9 day stay, you're there for 8 nights, so that's how many nights you pay for.

And no, you can't use your dining credits up to 14 days. (You're probably thinking about tickets, which can be used for 14 days after the first use.) As has been stated, dining credits are useable from the moment you check in until 11:59 pm on your check out day.

After spending the day at the parks on our checkout day, we'll be checking into our DTD hotel, and would like to book a DTD restaurant and use a TS credit. How would that work? Is it tied to our Magic bands or do we get a KTTW card that we use? Thanks!

They will be linked to your band. You can pay for tip separate or if you had charging linked they will hit the card you have linked.
