BWI has hard boiled eggs at breakfast. I asked about plastic water bottles: they said they only had the glass bottles that they can give you for the room.

If I stay Club level, can they take care of my annual pass vouchers or do I still need to go to guest relations?

Hi! You appear to have stayed WL CL a few times... we are looking to do our first stay there this July - we are doing our third Poly CL in a few weeks and are used to staying there so I am a bit nervous about venturing out to a new experience... but excited as well! Could you tell me what the early mornings are like at the WL? I am an early riser and DD3 and DH will sleep for a couple extra hours... I love having a cup of coffee and relaxing during that time (prepping for the insanity of the day!) - where might be a good place for this? Is the lounge open for coffee early?

WL's Old Faithful Club opens for coffee at 6:30 am and breakfast begins at 7:30 am. For more detailed info on WL CL times, see posts 9, 10 and 11 here:

WL CL is especially relaxing early in the morning. you can grab your coffee and overlook the lobby and enjoy the peacefulness. You can stroll around each floor and discover all the quiet nooks to sit and relax. You can enjoy a quiet stroll around the grounds, say "Good Morning" to the Duck family by the pool, the possibilities are endless. :goodvibes

I agree. WL CL not only has great offerings and great CMs, it is also very peaceful, IMO. I've only stayed 3 clubs, but WL CL is my second favorite.

Quick question--if I reserve a club level room can they activate and load my annual pass voucher to my magic band or do I still need to go to guest relations?

Has anyone stayed at Coronado's Business class (aka Concierge Light)? Do they have an IPO? Is there a way to contact them?

The opening of this thread seems to have incorrect information.

At least I'm hoping it is incorrect. The Disney website says

Hi all -

I have CR booked for August with a theme park view and I'm *strongly* considering bumping up to CL. For those of you who have done it - is it worth it? It sounds pretty amazing to me, but I'm a CL newbie and would appreciate your advice/opinions.

Thanks!!

We are a family of 4 that went to Disney maybe 12 times with our twins when one trip we were upgraded to CL -- and guess what? We've never turned back;). It's so nice to have a place to grab a drink whenever we want it. Beer and wine available at all times (if it's not out, ask the staff and they will get it for you). I have a DD that wanted strawberries every single day -- we'd ask a CM and he/she would bring her a bowl of them. Just little things like that make the trip that much more enjoyable. We like having the lounge for a quick breakfast each day. If we're running behind schedule, DH or I can just grab a tray and bring food back to the room. Easy. I find I eat much healthier this way too -- depending on the resort, I can have a few hard-boiled eggs, greek yogurt, a banana, and orange juice. If we are at the pool during the afternoon, we grab some snacks from the lounge, some cold drinks, beer for DH and head to the pool. At night we really enjoy the hot appetizers. Of course it's fun later at night to grab a DVD and some dessert and head back to our room for the night. We enjoy the CL experience from beginning to end.:cloud9:

Is it my imagination or did the room rates for CR CL go up a lot for 2014? THe standard view AC CR CL room is even more than Floridian OB CL now by about $50. Has this always been the case? I've never stayed CL in either, only Poly but I would have thought the rates go up from CR to Poly to GF.

HI All :)

Im a newbie to CL! In fact still a newbie to WDW in general really having been for the first time in May last year.

Im now looking at booking again for October this year for the F&W festival! I've been looking online at WDW UK, and I've found some good prices for BC/YC but at Club Level (I assume their 'standard' rooms are sold out because of the access to F&W festival!) but I dont have much knowledge on Club Level at all so I'd really appreciate your help :)

I am booking from the UK, will they send me details of the concierge for me to contact to arrange my plans at the time of booking?

I've read on your lovely thread and the many FAQ's they can send me a form to complete to make it easier for those who aren't sure what they can/cannot book? Would I email to ask for this or does it come as standard?

Can they use my UK card to pre book/make reservations? I dont have a USA card would that matter (sorry thats probably a daft question!).

Is there anything I can request at BC to make our stay more enjoyable? We'd love a full balcony, do all rooms at CL have balconies at BC?

Can the concierge guys book the illuminations boat tour as well? We missed this last time?

Sorry I'll probably end up thinking of more questions but Im new to CL, we basically ran around like loons last time and crammed so much in over out 8 day stay that we were exhausted. This time we really want to just enjoy the food, the resort, chill out during the day and enjoy the food & wine festival. This is definitely going to be a relaxing trip rather then a crazy busy one like last time, so I think CL would suit us better?

Any advice you can offer is so greatly appreciated :)

This, perhaps: Starting January 21, 2014, service on the Magic Kingdom Resort and Express monorails will be unavailable on weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. to allow for planned maintenance. This schedule will run through the end of March 2014

If the monorail is not running, the only resort with a walkway is CR. Guests at Poly and GF must take either the boat or a bus.

Plus, there is construction at the Poly for the new DVC.

#1 The form should come standard, it's just an email with an attachment though, so not fancy. If it doesn't, this thread tells how to get it. Should arrive near your 180 day mark.
Not sure about #2, but I would think so. Check with your cc for fees, etc. I'd think any limits will come from cc, not WDW. #3 Not all rooms at BC have a full balcony, as I understand it. Our rooms have had one, but we don't spend much time there. Instead of spending time on balcony, we relax in the lounge. #4 Yes, I think so. I've never booked it.

As to your last statement; it's a huge maybe. It's a bit philosophical. No matter what, you have to accept there is always more going on at WDW, than can possibly be done in a week. Over 75 TS alone! No matter what, you have to let some things go. But here's the flip....It is also the fun of WDW. If what you desire is a vacation to sit and do very little, a spa/beach vacation would be a better fit. After 40+ visits to WDW, my family is STILL trying to find the right balance. Luxury can help.

If you stay CL level, and take advantage of the 5-7pm food, then you need to go to the lounge. That pilgrimage is not easy or relaxing. World Showcase to CR/GF/Poly/WL- or Fantasyland to AKL/BC/YC/Bwk, esp via WDW transport - takes 60+min. each way. And really, for ADR's, allow 90 minutes. At best, MK gate to CR room (or France to BC) is a minimum 20min.

When we started staying CL, we DID vow to relax more, but it still requires us to make a commitment. The luxury of CL is an easy pill to swallow, but we still have to accept more lounge = less Space Mtn.

Another way to look at it, is that CL makes your vacation more efficient. Lounge breakfasts are QUCKER than the food court. No commute, no line, no waiting for food prep. Further, CL effectively = minimizing most in-resort queues, except transportation. They don't do everything, but the extra layer of service can be a time saver.

The way I see it, time =money. How much is your time worth? As you come from far away, your time at WDW is $$$. Upgrading to CL means more vacation in your vacation. It's not for everyone. Some folks prefer to cook/make beds on vacation ala DVC/offsite condos, and spend less. That's also an okay choice!

I'm trying to decide what to do when we visit in early Dec. '14. We will have 3 kids, almost 2, 3.5 and 6.5 and they aren't the best restaurant kids (eat like birds mostly).
I'm debating:
WL CL (either deluxe or standard room)
BLT 1 bedroom Lakeview
BLT studio Lakeview with DDP
Poly CL
CR with DDP

We already have splits planned for FW, BLT, AKV Kidani, in that order, this would be for the last part of the trip. What do you think would be the easiest for young kids? We will be spending a decent amount of time at the resort by that point, I'm assuming. I figured you all would know the best about the CL part of it :)

Yes, I noticed this as well. We are pondering a MLK trip again, and prices with the passholder discount looked like this:

CR Atrium Std 447
GF Sugarloaf 407
GF RPC STD 504

Those to me are getting close together making the savings (especially on a short trip) less a factor.

Hi there. I need help with room requests for AKL club level. I know the club room is on the 6th floor. Does that mean that you will automatically be placed on the 4th or 5th floors? Ideally we'd like to be close(ish) to the elevator but we still want to make sure we get a really good animal view. Will I have to make a choice between a great view or a clase lobby location or is it possible to get both? In what I have read it sounds like the resport is really spread out and there can be longs walks involved if you are located on the end of the building. Thanks in advance for your help!

We stayed about mid-way on the zebra trail of the horseshoe and didn't find it that long of a walk. But we are two adults in O.K. health so I could see it seeming long for someone with a disability or problems walking or maybe even kids. But there are windows looking out to the savannah on the walk which is nice. In the end, we didn't think it was an issue getting to the CL lounge or lobby but if we were at the very end it might have been annoying. You can definitely ask to be in a room closer to the lobby. At one point I even found a map of the resort and called and asked for specific room numbers based on something I read online about views. However, I ended up calling and taking the specific room request off of my reservation and just asked to be on a specific floor. I asked to be on the 4th or 5th floor but that was before we upgraded to a CL room. I think CL is automatically the 4th, 5th, and 6th flors but I'm not sure 100% about that.

Oh - and about the view! I personally wouldn't want to be too close to the lobby just because I think you can see more of the savannah being a little further out on the "horseshoe." However, you'll still have a good view closer to the lobby. The resort does a good job putting out food so that the animals move all around the savannah. I would be worried that the pool might block some of the savannah view but I'm guessing that would be considered a "pool view" room instead of the savannah view. Based on my stay, looking at this map: http://keanespics.com/ThemeParks/WDW/RAKL/WDW_RAKLJ_Map.htm I would probably want to stay in the 4501-4515 or 5501-5513 block to be close to the lobby but far enough out to see across the savannah.
