I'm so glad that you found this and are reading AND commenting! :goodvibes Seriously, glad to have you along.

Can you believe it? Now I'm obsessed with going back on the safari since we didn't see any elephants. It is definitely a great tour for those staying CL. :)

Hi Mike! Thank you so very much for the Christmas greeting! That's so very kind to wish me and those reading your sweet note.

Merry Christmas to you too! :)

Oh Judy! I'm so very glad to see you pop in with your sweet Christmas greeting. Thank you so much for thinking of me. Likewise, although I'm hopelessly behind on your PTR (you are so close to your trip) that you and your lovely family are thought of often and I pray that as you count down the days until your trip that all the plans fall into place perfectly.

Be blessed my friend!

Wow! O fomos... I mean, I finished the TR up to now... :rotfl:

Lots of fun cast member experiences, Dis meets and food! I love living vicariously through your hotel stays and your dining experiences. I spend most of my time at the QS places, although there are a few restaurants I really, really want to try!

I have split the adult fried chicken meal, but the kid's meal looks just as easy, and I like getting the veggies on the side too. I think that's my next meal at 50s. Is the chicken the same as the adult version? Because that is just incredible chicken.

And I realized we were in Disney around the same time. I was there from Aug 18-27.

I will be taking a page from your book and making a list of things that I have not yet done, that I must do. The safari is a must do each trip for me (and I saw a baby rhino on it's first day out in 2012!), so that won't be on that list. But there will be a few meals/restaurants and areas of parks or rides to add to the list. Thanks for the idea!

Finally caught up, some excellent days and meals so far.

Hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas.

LOL. No they have not said that but that cracked me up. I said when he smiles he looks like the Joker.
That squirrel is hysterical.
Looks cool without water.
Living with the Land has fp and FP+.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

We were there at the same time - our dates overlapped. :)

As far as I know the kid's chicken meal is just the drum stick and thigh portions but the same as the adults recipe. I've never ordered the adult chicken meal so I had to ask Em for her input. It really was awesome!

My list of things on my must do list is getting crossed off slowly. I must have waited until later in the trip to get them completed! :) I have so many things still to do.

Oh my gosh! A baby rhino? How adorable would that be? Stupid question but are they born with a horn? That would hurt I'd think. :confused3 Spoiler alert but I still have things not crossed off my list... 15 days apparently wasn't enough! :rotfl2: Glad I could give you that idea.

Hi Lisa! So glad that you are hanging in there and reading.

Thank you so much! How very sweet of you. We really had a wonderful family time this Christmas. All the kids were home so I was a happy mom! :)

All caught up again !! Hope you guys had a great holiday !!

Susan

Hi Susan! Thank you. We did and I hope you and your family enjoyed your Christmas as well! :goodvibes

I can see the Joker!! :lmao:

That squirrel was amusing.

Not sure I would ever pull a FP for Living with the Land but that's good to know. I do enjoy the ride but I see the same veggies/fruits all the time. Makes me hungry!

Thank you! I hope you and Vinny enjoyed your Christmas as well. :)

Day 7: Thursday August 22, 2013

We were in Norway in Epcot and resumed our trek to Japan via WS. WE almost made it to Japan before it started to rain.

Last dry photo:

Ohhhh my...

We were in America when we saw big fat drops of rain. We ducked under the roof of the downstairs of the Japan pavilion. We sheltered for about 10 minutes while waiting for the storm to pass. The poor strollers and scooter that were parked right in the path of the run-off from the roof – they were soaked!

Looks like rain!

Definitely rain!

When we were not in danger of looking like we had just gotten off Malestrom (Rob you’ll get that reference) we proceeded up the stairs to check in for our lunch reservation at TE. The details of this stellar dining experience may be found here. Or you can take my word for it that the chicken and shrimp never fails to disappoint and Em cracked the “code” for the 500 degree tables!

Cool photo from lunch:

Following lunch we had zero plans. Nada. Nothing. Post lunch lethargy was setting in. However that doesn’t mean that we didn’t have any excitement since who should we run into again? I’ll give you one guess because if you need more than that you have not been paying attention to this TR……
Kathy and Mark!! Yep. They were hanging around Epcot as well. We are so international together. A photo was necessary since 12 are not enough already on this trip!

While in England we saw that Alice and Mary were greeting guests so we hopped in Alice’s line. There were a couple of cute teen girls in front of us who asked if we could please take their photo with Alice. Why Certainly. They repaid the favor since there was no CM escort for little Alice.
We played follow the leader and waited to see Mary and pose for photos behind the girls as well.

Considering we were still a bit sluggish from lunch we decided to go back to the resort for some rest from the heat.

First I had to go up the club level concierge to assist with some dining reservations that I wanted to make for our December trip. Jessi, the amazing CM on loan from BWI assisted and kept calling me princess. It must be a habit to reference guests by that adorable term of endearment but considering I’m old enough to be her mother it was odd. Nice but odd.

I feel like our entire trip was rain... For that matter, every time we step foot into WS, it rains. LOL I must know all of the good dry spots by now. Glad the both of you stayed dry!

Lunch looks fabulous! Another place to add to my list of places to try.

Loved your photo with Alice - too cute!

And that is exactly why I continue to go back to Disney... I love being a princess. <3
