Spice Road Table opening?

I'll second (or third/fourth, as the case may be) the fact that strolling into Tutto Gusto randomly is fantastic, but that place is now killer on the wallet. I can stuff my family of four full of wine and food at Via Napoli for less than $100 using TiW. Tutto Gusto is always over $150. It was less expensive when it opened, and I liked it far more.

All that said, I'll be jumping up and down at the doors of Spice Road Table if it's open on January 13th (my next visit to Epcot).

1) We went on a CM backstage tour of Seas. 2) We also got a good look behind the fences at Spice Table. 3) From what we were told, . . . it will not be on DDP . . . there are no ADR's . . . shoould open at or just after end of the year NOTE: All of #3 items are subject to change.

Hoping you are correct. I am so over the Disney push to have us plan every minute months in advance that I am about ready just to take a hiatus.

Some bugs taste quite good. Never had crawfish heads.

Sorry, but there is still no official opening date. They have said nothing more specific than "the end of the year."

Artisan des Glaces opened a week after we visited in May.

Starbucks opened a week after we visited in August.

We return home on our current trip tomorrow.

P.S. - Disney Blog is saying "early 2014." I wonder if "early" means first week of January or sometime in Q1?

Think a nice place with good food and no ADR's is something I could like.

We love Tutto Gusto for that reason no ADRS and relaxing , this place will just add to that and it is on the water It just needs to open all ready...like waiting for Christmas morning.

The signage is up on Spice Road. But it is not open at this time.

I love the idea of no ADRs. If Spice Road isn't open when we're at Epcot later in January, we'll probably head to Tutto Gusto (never been, but love the looks of it).
