My kids have requested that I try to find a recipe for the potato leek soup from Be Our Guest.
They love that stuff.
Anyone have the recipe or one similar?

I believe this is actually the COLD leek soup from F&W, not BoG.

I believe this is actually the COLD leek soup from F&W, not BoG.

The blogger, however, served it hot. Seems VERY close to the soup I make, and that soup is VERY close to how the BOG soup tastes. Nice and simple. Alas, the blogger adds bacon, which, of course, isn't in the BOG version (yay!).



Leeks, yukon gold potatoes, vegetable stock, milk, pepper...those are the ingredients in my recipe. Blend it on up, season, enjoy.

Aha, realized that my recipe doesn't call for the dairy. But adding just a tablespoon or two of half and half to a bowl of it takes it to a new level.
