We did the western itinerary on the Fantasy this past Oct, and sailed the eastern with another cruise line this past April. Your TR brings back great memories of both of our 2013 cruises, one for the ship and the other for the ports.

In St. Maarten we took a taxi over to the French side (Marigot) and went up to Fort Louis, then walked back into town and went to Sarafina's Bakery, after that we got another taxi to Maho Beach to watch the planes come into the airport, that was really cool! We left there and went back to Philipsburg and did a little shopping before going back to the ship.
In St. Thomas we shopped and stopped into a Chinese restaurant to use their wifi, that was it. We had wanted to do the Paradise Point tram, but it was still closed. Someone at the restaurant told us about another place we could have gone, called Mountain Top, but at that point we were loaded down with shopping bags so we just went back to the ship and enjoyed the rest of the day on board with fewer people.
Oh my gosh, I was so excited to find your trip report!!! We were also on the Nov. 2nd Fantasy sailing, in room 7180 and Vivek was our room attendant! My 3 year old daughter LOVED him! He always popped his head out whenever he heard us leave or come back. This was our first DCL cruise and it was a trip of a lifetime!!!! I enjoy reliving our trip through your report!
