YES, touring Cinderella’s Dream Suite was Amazing!+14 Other Magical Days* Dismeet & Wrap

Congratulations on top thread of the month! I love the fancy banner below your user name!!
Thanks Melissa!

Boma breakfast looks great! We ate dinner there when we stayed at AKL but definitely want to try breakfast.

The Mara is really good... although we only actually ate one meal there when we stayed at AKL. The best part of it is ZEBRA DOMES! Which Boma also has at dinner.
And for us... we want to try dinner at Boma.

I've never tried a zebra dome. I know people rave about those but if they have chocolate or coffee flavors that would be a deal breaker.

Sum of all thrills has been on my must do list FOREVER! I have never actually seen the ride, I have somehow missed it every visit to Epcot.

If you like science and math or just designing things you'll love this attraction. It's definitely worth trying once. That reminds me that I have a video I uploaded to YouTube today that I may share for the design part.

Nice score on the insta-fast passes for TT! I didn't get to ride it on our last trip since the refurb so I'm not up on the changes.

Nice people in Disney are always appreciated. Seeing as how I'm not a fan of the changes to the queue I do still like the actual ride.

That's so cool that you keep running into Kathy!

:) I was glad that we did.

I love your pictures of San Angel Inn! Somehow TS in Mexico has never made our list. If it's anything like the CS we've had, I'm sure it was excellent! The pictures of the food definitely look yummy.

I think you would like SAI since it has similar items - like the chips/salsa and the tacos. I'm glad to see that you like La Cantina since I would like to try that next trip.

Another things we haven't done... visited the American Adventure. Yes, our Disney to do list is super long.

Keep this one on your list for one day. Disney does Americana so well. :thumbsup2

Wow, Kathy is super popular!

She sure is! I think her Dismeet calendar was double-booked sometimes.

I love the International Gateway! Oh my goodness for a second I thought you got upgraded again at the YC, lol. Did it almost feel like a let down after the last time there?

Ha ha! No, no upgrade. It wasn't really a let down since we booked a room type that we felt would bridge the gap between staying in the Admiral Suite and staying in a regular resort room which we will likely do next time. It was all good.

The deluxe room looks very nice. Something to consider. Now that Gavin is here, the standard hotel room probably just won't do for us since he naps and goes to bed before us and we need more space. That pretty much prices us out of most on site accomodations unfortunately since we'd need a 1 bedroom villa. But I think the deluxe room might work, is there a TV in the sitting area? At least we would be able to do something while Gavin napped and went to bed before us, lol. Anyway sorry for the tangent...

No worries, you have a good question.

It was odd but there was no TV in the sitting room. The sofa faced a closet. :confused3 I preferred the 1 bedroom villa to this room type.

I always lived out of a suitcase every time until our last trip when we stayed in the AoA suite. I actually unpacked us and put our stuff in the drawers and stashed away the suitcases. It was actually really nice and it was fun to pretend that we lived there since it made it feel just a little bit more like home.

I can relate to the - "I could live here" thought!! I've imagined the same. But yes, if everything is put away I can relax and enjoy the room better. Plus I don't want mousekeeping to think I'm a slob! :rotfl2:

Okay, so, so sorry for not getting over here sooner.
Camille!!! I'm so excited to see you "here"!!! :goodvibes No worries. I'm guilty of neglect myself.

I guess I have a few posts to go back and comment on. :goodvibes
First off, I'm totally down with you on the goat cheese thing, as I tell my kids (who love goat cheese by the way) I'd probably like licking the goat better.

:lmao: That's too funny!!

Boma, does it get much better?!? I finally got to eat their breakfast there this last trip, but I think we'll be trying the Tusker house buffet next time. :)Which did you like better?

Boma is one of our favorite breakfasts. Em requested it next trip so I have to find a way to fit it in. On the other hand, the safari characters at TH are so adorable.

To answer your question, I prefer Boma. TH has too many options and it is too tempting to throw all caution to the wind and pig out on everything! I'm afraid I will completely lose control.

I'm right there with you on crying when I see The American Adventure, that and the Hall of Presidents. I'm always moved by both, but then again I'm a big sap when it comes to being patriotic.

Awwww that's a cute image. That video at the end of the American Adventure is so well done.

I've never been to the YC, I think I've seen it from afar when we were walking Pat back to her resort, but beyond that we've not been there. I'll have to see it some time, it looks like a beautiful place to stay. :)
Your room is enormous! What a nice suite! :thumbsup2

The resort is beautiful right there on Crescent Lake. It was a very nice room. :)

All the meets are great, can't wait to see who else you run into. :goodvibes

I think we kept recycling the same person (Kathy) but I do have one other special person making an appearance...

It's funny to hear about everyone's idiosyncrasies when it comes to unpacking at the resort or unpacking when you get home.
Me, I'm one who lives out of her suitcase while vacationing, but as soon as I get home I have to unpack or it will drive me C R A Z Y!! :rotfl: And I mean as SOON as I get home! Okay, if it's late then I wait until the next morning, but as soon as I'm up I can't take it and I have to unpack.

That's exactly me!! My hubby brings the suitcases in the house but he doesn't bring them upstairs so I drag them upstairs and dump everything out on the bed and put it away. That doesn't go over well at 11 at night so I put as much away as I can until he gets grumpy and says that's enough.

Beautiful room who needs an upgrade with that room. Wish we could stay in a room like that when we go. But Mods are in our price range no deluxe and for sure no club lv.......alas we will get squished into a much smaller room and have a EVC in there to boot. lol

It was like upgrading ourselves when I booked the room! :rotfl2: Honestly, as nice as this room was it wasn't worth the extra expense compared to a regular CL room. I can't decide which mod I would prefer Coronado Springs or Port Orleans Riverside. Do you have a preference?

That is one gorgeous room! We have never been able to get in to the Yacht or Beach Club using our DVC points but man do I ever want to!

And I also love to unpack while at Disney. Can't stand living out of a suitcase. Makes it seem like I'm really not staying there for very long. At least if I put my clothes away I'm staying for a while! :thumbsup2

Thanks Chris! I definitely think owning DVC trumps any regular resort room! :thumbsup2

I love your unpacking perspective - If it's put away you're staying awhile.

What a great picture of you girls at the fountain in France. Such a pretty backdrop! It's definitely one of the most photogenic pavilions in WS.

Well, it's no Admiral Suite, but that is still a gorgeous and spacious room!! I am totally with you, I can't stand living out of a suitcase. It drives me nuts when I am forced to do it for a night! Teenagers are a special breed though, so it's no wonder Em had no problem with it. :rotfl:

Thank you! I love the fountains at night with the lights even better. It is a great back drop for any photo.

We're definitely on the same page with the unpacking thing. If I don't unpack I can never find the one thing that I'm looking for in my bag.

Hi Brenda!

I love the pictures of Animal Kingdom Lodge on your last day there! That staircase is so beautiful and how awesome to wake up to a giraffe outside your window!

Hi TM!

It truly was a great resort! Every detail is so perfectly thought out.

Sum of All Thrills was on our to do list, but we missed it again! It was fun seeing your pictures and I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

It's a fun attraction!

Perhaps you were the victim of too many things to do and not enough time? That so easily happens and since I can't book a 3.9 week trip to WDW I'll always have a list that is unchecked! :)

I'm sorry to read you didn't like the new Test Track concept! I've talked to many family friends that didn't like it either!! That's so disappointing, because it was such a favorite here prior to the change! We didn't get to ride that this trip either because of storms, so I have no opinion to weigh in one way or the other, but my optimism about the changes has definitely decreased!

If I can get over not liking the new design stuff I can give it a break. I don't really care to design a car but what do I know. :confused3 You might really like it.

Your tour around world showcase looks like it was very nice! And a good lunch, Dismeets, and some very lovely Photopass pictures to boot! Sounds like a fine afternoon!

Thanks!

Wow! Your YC room is gorgeous!!! I love the beds and the sink area is stunning! The view is pretty great as well! Love it all!! That resort has never been on my radar as much as some others, but it is definitely beautiful!!

Really enjoyed these updates!

Thanks TM! We enjoyed the resort and the room was pretty fabulous.

Great update! :goodvibes

Thanks wii! :)

Wow what a beautiful room!!! Looking forward to some pictures from the balcony. :)

I love how you keep running into Kathy. So great that you are having so many dismeets. Of course it seems like you will be having twice as many in your upcoming trip. :goodvibes

I unpack everything and do my best to organize while in the room. 4 people in a standard size room for 8 days and it starts to get crazy. Having opened suitcases hanging around would just be tripping hazards waiting to happen. However when I get home it takes forever for me to get everything unpacked, I just do it little by little. :)

Thank you! I do have more photos of the view from the balcony, I'll have to post a few more.

You'll definitely be seeing Kathy and us together in December. :thumbsup2 Since we are coordinating travel and dining with so many Disers it really is a Dis meet trip.

Oh my gosh, you mentioned a tripping hazard... stay tuned.... that will happen to someone in our little travel party. See? There's a reason for putting things away and being organized, it's good for your health! ;)

I had fallen a few updates behind. All caught up now. I am not a huge fan of the updated Test Track. Feels like it just makes the wait longer. The ride itself is OK. I did it enough this summer to never feel like I must do it again.

How awesome that you kept having inadvertent Dis meets.

Your room at YC is gorgeous and what an awesome view! Love the extra space you have in that sitting room.

Congratulations on your Thread of the Month!!!! :cool1:

Hi Linda! Glad you are here and caught up. (Wish I could say the same but I'm hopelessly behind with so many of my subscriptions.)

I agree with you completely! The ride is ok, I don't mind it. I just don't care to design a car.

Those random Dismeets were trip highlights for sure!

Thanks! The room was nice.

Thank you very much.

Brenda, Love the pictures of the YC. We stayed at the YC CL a few years ago and absolutely enjoyed it. The YC has a great location and the resort itself has such a comortable setting. I One of these days I'm going to have to return. The only two things I did not enjoy at the YC were:

1. Have to admit, I could not stand the bus situation; having to share a bus with the YC/BC/BWI, Dolphin and Swan made for some big time inconvenience to say the least.

2. When we were there the Superbowl was being played in Tampa. There were a lot of people at YC because of the game. You may say what was the problem with that? Well the problem is I can't stand the Steelers (or Ravens) and who do you think was in the Superbowl while this Browns fan was in WDW... Yep, you got it, ME. I could not stand seeing all those #7 Steeler jerseys all over. :lmao::rotfl:

So it sounds like we agree that YC is a nice resort as long as there are not any Steeler fans around or if you need to take the bus anywhere. :lmao:

Seriously those shared buses can be a pain.... I'll have at least one case in point soon.

I suppose it would have been even worse if the Steelers won. I'm just happy that Green Bay beat the Steelers in 2011.

Good luck to your team tomorrow when they play Cincinnati.

LOL. We truly are.

Now Kathy is stalking you. LOL
Nice room.

I'll have to share with you my newest travails with the Disney system when we meet up. Without sharing any details it was a fundamental security breach. :scared:

Yes, I think I'll need to get together with Kathy and talk to her about that!

Thanks, it was.

That made me giggle!

Beautiful room pics! I live out of the suitcase when I'm on vacation, too. And then I generally don't unpack it for a week after I get home because I'm sad. LOL.

Thanks khaleesi! Gasp! How do you do that? :lmao: I kinda get the 'I'm in mourning' period of time at home. ;)

I like your closet organizer. :) We unpack completely into our resort rooms, too. I like to put everything in the drawers and the closet and make it look very tidy. That is why we don't like to switch resorts during a trip. It is more relaxing for us to feel anchored to a "home" for the duration. Em probably figures that it would be a waste of time to unpack now, since you are leaving for WDW again in about three weeks. :)

The YC is a beautiful resort. I am guessing that you prefer it to the BC. We love the BC and BCV's and have mostly stayed there the last twenty years, until this year when we discovered the gorgeous Wilderness Lodge. We were at the YC once, when we got bumped over there from the BC. The room was very nice but we didn't like the lack of quick service place. I know that it isn't that far to the Marketplace at the BC, but it was inconvenient. We have another booked in March and this time we will be back at the BC. :)

We stayed in a 2 BR villa at the BCV three times, and a villa would be my idea of luxury. If I was going to splurge, that would be my choice. We once had a free upgrade to a suite at the BC that was similar to your YC suite. It was only for two nights, but it was really nice to have the extra space, especially since we had our daughters with us. They were teenagers at the time and were probably even happier to have their own space then we were. :goodvibes

I get your logic!

Exactly, there's no point in Em putting the suitcase away now.

First let me just say WOW! You've been to WDW a lot of times. I worry that it may lose some magic after that many trips but I'd love to find out!

We just discovered the WL this trip and liked it as well. I do prefer YC to BC but we've only been to BC once. I liked being close to the Marketplace but we haven't returned since we've stayed at YC. Hmmmm that's a point in your argument!

We've only had a 2 bedroom once and that was last summer when DH accompanied us - at BLT. That was awesome! I'm a fan of extra space.

We'll be back at BWV in a few weeks. Time to go back across the lake.

While I'm thinking of this.... I uploaded video of Em designing her roller coaster on Sum of All Thrills. For those not familiar with the design process you can see here.

Wow, what another beautiful room, even if it is just what you expected. I'm really loving the yacht club more and more everything time I see pictures. The flowers were such a nice touch. (I wonder if Phillipe ordered those? Hahaha)
I am with you on the suitcase thing. I have to unpack! For just one night I might not, but then I'll probably go a little crazy too!

Unfortunately Brenda, the Steelers did win Superbowl 43 against the Cardinals. Santonio Holmes caught the winning TD with 35 seconds left. Most miserable time I ever had in WDW. I avoided the MK the day of the parade because I couldn't even imagine being around all those Steeler jerseys during the parade. :lmao: As for Green Bay, I was happy as well. I was watching that game in the midst of a room of Steeler fans.

I can't wait to hear about your bus adventure at the YC. I am truly not a complainer, I try to overlook the negative and instead look to what is positive; but the bus situation at the YC was terrible. If you let one bus pass and wait for the next it was just as bad. I truly felt unsafe with that many people crammed onto a bus with no room to move. Several times during that week someone would fall and almost had a domino effect with several more. I spent so much money taking a cab instead. I'm sure I will stay at the YC again but I will end up getting a rental car.

Thanks for wishing good luck to my Browns... They are going to need it. Let me return the wishes of good luck to the Packers in their game with the Giants today. :)

Slowly getting caught up after my DIS board hiatus.

How wonderful that your next trip is just a few short weeks away. That is a wonderful time to visit. I think I am going to plan for Christmas 2015. Yup, that's the way I roll - planning two years out! :thumbsup2

OK - let's see what I can remember.

Oh yeah - not one, but two DIS meets with Kathy. Very cool. I had a second impromptu meet with her back in June. That Katmark - she is just every where. :rotfl:

I have to agree with you - the first Darren was SO much better! I never did get used to the second one.

Loved the view from your AK room. Much more impressive since I was just there and I managed to snag a reclassified standard DVC 2 BR lock off. The savannah view was fantastic and now I am spoiled for life. I think they do that on purpose so you have HAVE to book savannah from now on.

Your YC room is quite nice too! Just lovely.

I hope you love BWV. We had another wonderful stay there and a lovely view of the Swan.

You look so relaxed on ToT and RnR. You look like you are out for a walk in the park, not on a thrill ride. :good vibes

Beautiful pictures. I enjoyed getting caught up.

I honestly thought that was your home closet at first!

And we are doing a Disneymoon! At the Wilderness Lodge Villas.

Wow, Kathy was doing the creep on you. :rotfl2: No, seriously, that was pretty awesome that they were behind you. And a surprise DISmeet out of it is great!

Nice Vanna shots in front of your room door! I may have to try that in the future. ;)

Room looks lovely. Granted, it's not the room you may be used to at the YC, but it's nice. Haha.

I have to admit that I am an obsessive unpacker when it comes to being on vacation. But I have been guilty of not unpacking my suitcase at home for a lengthy period of time. I think it stems from my denial that the trip is over.

Wait, you bring a hanging shoe organizer!? You're a genius!!!!!!!

I bring one of those over the door organizers that I hang in the bathroom behind the door, so I can keep all of the toiletry junk off of the sink. I think I'm going to have to do your shoe organizer trick.

I'm not going to be able to update for a few days as I have a conference to attend in Vegas. However, I did celebrate Mickey Mouse's 85th Birthday today at Disneyland with Paula (Smile4Stamps).... actually a celebration usually entails balloons, confetti, and cupcakes at the very least. I saw none of that but then again I didn't get to the park until 2 hours before park closing.

Here's a link to my brief update on my DR that also contains some photos.

I WILL be back to post replies... I'm too wiped out right now to make any sense so hang in there.

Hope you made it to Vegas okay! I may have to ask you for some tips soon. We'll 'hopefully' be going for my 30th bday in March and it will be the first time for both of us!:cool1:

You are in Vegas again? You are just the travel queen.

Thanks for the video; we've never seen/done Sum of all Thrills.

I'm finally caught up again. I love the room at the YC! One day just one day I will stay there.

I'm back in town and determined to get caught up... not only here but on my other subscriptions and my Dining Review.

Vegas was sun up to sun down busy - and my feet are still killing me to prove it! Despite my photo posing in the cage swing on FB, nothing wild happened. Honest! :)

I plan to get a few more updates over the weekend and then a few more before we leave in less than 2 weeks. Life is just too crazy busy right now to get this wrapped up before our next trip. I will have to keep stringing it out. :upsidedow

Welcome back Wendy! YC is a lovely resort but the rooms views of Stormalong Bay and Crescent lake are my favorites.

Ha ha! If Philippe ordered those flowers I'd be a little creeped out!

Yeah, the unpack/pack thing for one night gives me pause. I didn't at our 1 nite at WL and it drove me a little crazy but I got over it. ;)

Well then, I guess your trip couldn't have gotten any worse with them pulling off that win. :p

It is always a crazy free for all at the bus stop and they do pack them in. Just when you thought the bus couldn't get any fuller the bus driver yells for everyone to step to the back and they cram more people on. I have a photo from later in the week....

And guess who the Browns are playing tomorrow? Ha ha! I hope you triumph over those evil Steelers! :rotfl2:

Slowly getting caught up after my DIS board hiatus.

Hi Mary Ellen! Thanks for getting caught up and welcome back from your recent Dis trip! :goodvibes

How wonderful that your next trip is just a few short weeks away. That is a wonderful time to visit. I think I am going to plan for Christmas 2015. Yup, that's the way I roll - planning two years out!

This will be a first time for us at WDW during the Holidays so I'm pretty excited.

I have to agree with you - the first Darren was SO much better! I never did get used to the second one.

Your YC room is quite nice too! Just lovely.

I hope you love BWV. We had another wonderful stay there and a lovely view of the Swan.

See? Disney does that to you and then you throw money their way because you just can't live without a view of those animals! It will be hard to book any other view now. Completely spoiled for certain!:)

Thanks! YC is another favorite of ours.

This will be the 2nd time we've stayed at BCV so I am looking forward to seeing it again.

You look so relaxed on ToT and RnR. You look like you are out for a walk in the park, not on a thrill ride. :good vibes

Beautiful pictures. I enjoyed getting caught up.

My hubby says that I have a "roller coaster" face... not a lot of thrill behind the look!

Thanks and I'm glad to see you back around. I saw you updated your TR so I need to mosey over there. :)

I honestly thought that was your home closet at first!

And we are doing a Disneymoon! At the Wilderness Lodge Villas.

That's funny! And... keep in mind that was clothes for both of us. :p But yeah....

Ahhhh not only WL but the villas! Very nice. I actually did a Disneymoon so many years ago at the Poly.

Wow, Kathy was doing the creep on you. No, seriously, that was pretty awesome that they were behind you. And a surprise DISmeet out of it is great!

In this case I fully approved of creeping! ;)

Nice Vanna shots in front of your room door! I may have to try that in the future. ;)

You are more than welcome to add that to your photo repertoire!

Room looks lovely. Granted, it's not the room you may be used to at the YC, but it's nice. Haha.
They may have overlooked the notation on our reservation that said, really, it's ok, you can upgrade us again. :confused3 But seriously, it was a great room and we enjoyed that part of our stay.

I completely get the denial! Makes the transition back to life a wee bit easier.

Yes, a hanging shoe organizer is a must have. Keeps all those flip flops organized! :thumbsup2

Those over the door organizers are great! I've used them in the past too and it makes things easy to find. The last few trips I've just kept a large toiletries bag with all the stuff packed in it under the counter. I pretty much keep the room easy to clean for Mousekeeping. Here's how the bathroom vanity is kept cleared:

You get to go to Vegas a lot!! When I went to the bellagio in June, i had to have that waffle that you had! Where are you staying this time?

Bellagio is fabulous! I was only there for a private party at Hyde this trip. My conference was at Mandalay Bay which is nice but not as fancy as Bellagio.

Ha ha! You remember my waffle for dinner?? :)

Hope you made it to Vegas okay! I may have to ask you for some tips soon. We'll 'hopefully' be going for my 30th bday in March and it will be the first time for both of us!:cool1:

I sure did! I love the 45 min. flights.

What a great place to plan to celebrate your milestone birthday! There's so many great options for any tastes. If you like the more contemporary hotels you might like Aria or the Cosmopolitan. Let me know if you want some Vegas advice and I'd be glad to weigh in. ::yes::

You are in Vegas again? You are just the travel queen.

Thanks for the video; we've never seen/done Sum of all Thrills.

Well... it was for business. Very boring stuff. Except for the private parties at the night clubs. I was done drinking after the first night. :scared: and that photo on FB - that was for Michael to see how serious I was about working. :rotfl:

Not sure if that video of Sum of all thrills makes anyone want to do it but at least it shows what it is about.

I'm finally caught up again. I love the room at the YC! One day just one day I will stay there.

Hi Charlotte!! I'm glad you are caught up. How's your classes going? I see you cooking up a storm and putting me to shame with your pot pie. Yum! :goodvibes

Tuesday August 20, 2013: Day 5, Part 4

Note: This is a brief update since most of it was dinner which is found in my dining review.

We had settled into our YC room so had some time to relax before our evening plans. Dinner was at 8pm downstairs at Yachtsman Steakhouse which meant we didn’t have far to go. Good thing because we relaxed a little too much and fell asleep so we were rushed since we actually took time to shower and primp. Hey, it is a signature restaurant.

Ready for some steak!
DSCN5408.jpg

You can read my dining review here that contains our excellent dining experience, our exchange of goodies, and a Dismeet. Who might you ask? None other than the other part of our traveling party… Kathy! It only seemed like she was a part of our tour group since we kept seeing her and Mark around.

Here's a few other photos from the night:

After returning to the room after 11pm I tried to update my trip notes but I kept falling asleep so I gave up while Em watched Conan I ended my day.
That's a wrap for Day 5.

Wednesday August 21, 2013: Day 6, Part 1

At 7:30am I was wide awake! Not because I was well rested and ready for the day…. More because the Yacht Club’s landscaping needed some attention and the maintenance vehicles in reverse made the annoying high pitched beep beep beep beep sound. You know what that’s like right? They did have to keep the place beautiful so no more complaining from me! Em slept through all the noise. I had to make a decision regarding breakfast since we had an 8am ADR at Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Dolphin hotel next door. The kid’s sleeping, I’m grumpy and still groggy, that’s an easy decision… cancel breakfast at Fresh.

Morning view:

DSCN5414.jpg

It wasn’t until around 9:30 that we ventured to the club lounge for breakfast as Plan B. You can read my dining review here to see the options and how we spent that 20 minutes of our morning. Very exciting stuff I tell you when bagels AND cream cheese are involved!

A few resort photos before we went outside:

DSCN5472.jpg

We finally headed over to DHS around 10:30am. It was HOT. It was HUMID. We were not walking to the park this morning. The boat was our mode of transportation. It was about a 10 minute wait for a Friendship boat so I used the time to take a few photos while trying not to melt.
This doesn’t look so bad – but it was blazing hot!

Hmmmm that looks familiar!

Once inside the park the first order of business was to give Bo some attention. There rarely is a line to see Bo and I just don’t get it. Doesn’t anyone else care that this dude is completely ignored most of the time?

Once we bid Bo a fond farewell, and by “we” I mean me since Em really has no connection with the guy we headed to the photopass photographer for some mother/daughter photos. Uhhh, where’s my PP+ card? I couldn’t find it in my bag so I detoured to the Darkroom photo store right there on the corner and asked if they could replace the card and retrieve our photos. I didn’t have my photocard number since it was on another memory card back in the room; however, the helpful CM was able to locate our photos by doing a search by the park and time that we had our last PP photo taken. Now, that information I did remember. Answer: The bridge by France. 4pm yesterday! See, I’m not entirely devoid of important facts. We received a new card. It looks like they punched the dates for 2012 but no one noticed and we were on our way.

Look, there’s our photos.

We had to scoot to our first FP+ reservation which was ToT that had an open window for only 10 more minutes – until 11:30am. The stand-by line was noted as 40 minutes so FP+ saved us about 35 minutes since it was a short 5 minute wait. Our MBs were scanned with no issues – relief! Have I said before that this is my favorite DHS ride because it is! I got a kick out of the gal sitting next to me on the ride photo. She was seriously having some anxiety over this ride.

Next we had FP+ for RnRC, from 11:40-12:40am. There was a short wait and soon we were in our limo speeding through downtown. Which by the way is a complete contradiction since traffic never moves that fast down the 101 freeway in downtown LA! Sheesh! They could make this more realistic but then it wouldn’t be as fun right?

When we viewed the ride photo on the monitor I noticed a wardrobe malfunction being flashed for all to see. Uhhhh my underpants were peeking out from my front row seat. Thank goodness everyone looks at their own photo and I didn’t have people taking contraband photos of ours. Don’t wear a dress on this ride!! Sorry guys, that’s as racy as this will get.

Hey Brenda! I'm caught up again! (well, for now! :faint: )
Good call on cancelling breakfast and just heading to the lounge. No matter how good a breakfast is, you can't enjoy it if you have to wait too long for it. :rotfl:
I gave Bo a hug for you last week. :goodvibes
I HATE TOT. I'd be having a worse fit than the girl next to you. Seriously. :rotfl2:
I do love RnR! I rode in a skirt once, but luckily had no mishaps. :rotfl:

With all of the yummy options in a club level breakfast, I'd never pay for another breakfast elsewhere! How convenient, also.

I think Tower of Terror is the best themed ride in all of WDW. I notice something new every time I ride.

Wardrobe malfunction. Oh, dear. I hope the people behind you didn't buy the photo.

Oh great, now the people at FCC are going to have to regulate all ride photos. You are the Janet Jackson of the DISboards :lmao:

Actually I thought there was a delay for the CM to screen all ride photos in case someone was holding up their middle fingers or something :confused3
