What do you miss the most? I loveddddd Alfredo's. I like Tutto Italia but Alfredo's was amazing.

Papeete Bay Verandah was the original name for the place that is now 'Ohana. At one time they served a nice buffet lunch.

We have dined at 3 places that are now gone:
Concourse Steakhouse (at CR) and Spoodles (at BW) and Cap'N Jacks (at DD). We thought Concourse was okay and Spoodles was really good and Cap'N Jacks was blech.

The original at the Poly was table service. We recently had lunch at the new Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland hotel. It's counter service, but has some interesting menu items.

Ahhh, so many memories for me....

Coral Isle Cafe - now Kona, simple homemade food
Tangora Terrace - for the Tonga toast, and character breakfast you could do the buffet or a la carte
Papeete Bay Veranda - now Ohana, had a great character breakfast buffet

Ariels at the BC - awesome fresh seafood

Chef Mickeys - the original at DTD where RFC is now, was not a buffet back then

My parents miss the Top of the World at CR, where they had entertainment shows. We were too young to go, but old enough to be on our own at the Poly.

I miss old Chef Mickeys and all the restaurants that used to be cafeteria style-Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, and Le Cellier (it may have had a different name). I miss ordering from a menu at Biergarten. I miss the chicken sandwich from Tusker House CS.

I can't remember the name of it, but it was the TS resturaunt at Port Orleans French Quarter, where we had an excellent buffet breakfast.

The empress Lilly, my first character meal, it wasn't a cheap buffet but. Nice meal with a chance to meet Mickey...

cool cup! My parents couldnt afford to take me to table service places on our trips. Is it sad I never knew there were sit down restaurants until I interned at WDW?! HAH My hubby has to hold me back from making to many TS resrvations nowadays

We are going for my 35th bday in 23 days! Short weekend trip & we are going to:

Artist's Point (1st time)
Chef Mickey's bfast (this will be our 2nd time)
Le Cellier- we love the steak & risotto here
Primetime 50s been once
Liberty tree tavern- been once

This was a last minute trip so I took the ADR's I could get

People may think I'm weird but I miss the potato/pasta place in the Land. It provided a nice simple lunch: loaded baked potato, Mickey shaped pasta with a choice of sauces. Simple but yummy.

I also miss the homemade mac and cheese at 50s Prime time. It really reminded you of the 50s with a nice homemade cheese sauce and a baked top.

I miss breakfast at Tony's Town Square. It was an excellent breakfast in a great setting in the morning. I think they could use a lot more non-buffet TS breakfast options inside the parks.

I use to love the cafeteria style Crystal Palace, I have an older cookbook that had a recipe for the wrap sandwich they use to have there!

It was called Bonfamilles and I loved their crawfish pasta dish. I learned how to make it, though. Just find any Crawfish Monica recipe.

SPOODLES!!!

Went with my family almost 7 years ago the food was great and a huge bang for our $$$ on the DDP. I heard the new place isn't very good.
