I can't believe our first Disney Cruise is only 150+ days away! Joshua is so excited. I need to make sure the gifts I ordered made it over to the new reservation.

They better, you already paid for them, right! I'd definitely confirm that (with my luck, I'd totally forget!)

We may be going to So Cal over Chloe's birthday and Christmas. That would mean DISNEYLAND. Not sure yet but it's on the table. These last minute trips make a stay at GCV impossible but as of right now I the DLH is available so we'll see. The kids don't know and Chloe would flip. Michael is on board.

FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that works out. Speaking of...I'll email you soon regarding DL 1/2 and rooms/points etc. I think the 7m booking would be 1/29 ish depending on what dates we decide we want. Actual 1/2 is on the 31st. I have heard that registration will likely be starting early Jan or so (early, which we'd get, either DVC or Disney visa gets you in early and a $5-109 discount lol, and it will sell out once it goes public). I think our chances of GCV are probably pretty darn low but it's worth a shot (and then figuring out a backup plan lol). I guess we will need to figure out if we are planning on 1 room, or 2 lol, if you have the whole gang along. Much as I'd like to, I don't think it's feasible with all the other trips in the works $$ wise for me to bring them but I guess you never know.

He's so sweet! Worried about his mama Why aren't all kids like him? Has he decided what he wants to do on Cozumel? You guys are going to make such wonderful memories on this trip. Is he ok with me sitting with you at dinners?

He's more than ok.He's a good kid. Very grounded. Not shy. Funny. You'll like him. He hasn't decided about Cozumel in fact we haven't talked about it in a month or so. With the date being pushed back and the holidays coming up so quickly, cruise planning has taken a back seat. This year Hanukkah is early. It begins the night before thanksgiving and won't do so again for another 79,000 years. It definitely throws a huge wrench in our celebratory plans. I'm taking Joshua and a teammate to Vegas for soccer over thanksgiving so any sort of Hanukkah celebration will have to happen after. We even have to do Thanksgiving a few days early. good thing we're flexible. ​

Thats the one thing I forgot to check when I rebooked the canceled cruise. I'm sure it'll be fine. Disney always figures it out. We have yet to have any issues during any of our trips.​

You too. It's been a pretty good day. Getting ready to go to Joshua's indoor soccer game. Gabby has to go work at her job's trunk-or-treat for an hour. It's so cold today, like the low 40's. I am so not ready for winter.

I'm behind on everyone's threads , it's been crazy busy with M gone, but do you have an official move in date?

We'd love to meet up again, for longer than my last drive by with you, Fran, and Ellen this summer. We'll have no obligations while in CA so we'll be totally open. I'd love to take a peek at your new casa too if it works for you. I know M would too. I've shown him every photo, while drooling, lol! It's so gorgeous and we're so happy for you and Fran.

We are not putting extra pressure on ourselves by setting dates to move in. We get there when we are ready. The contractor has already started working there today.

I keep smelling 'cruise' smells today. It's amazing how an aroma take take you to a specific place. You're absolutely right, it's going to be an amazing cruise! I honestly can not wait!

Yeah, I got an earful about this from Jeff. I swear...I think he's tracking, on board and then all of a sudden he goes WAIT, you'll be going to Disney FOUR times this year and we might do a cruise? Who does that?

I mean really, we are talking four entirely different kinds of trips and the cruise being even more so.

It's like I am the teacher in Charlie Brown, he listens...agrees...sounds great and all of a sudden at 11pm it hits him that the girls May trip, and the 1/2 are not somehow one and the same.

I usually give a small gift every night of Hanukkah but I'm pretty sure we're going to give each child an iPad mini for Hanukkah so they will have entertainment for the 12 hour flight. If they get that big a gift, they won't get anything else!!!
I think they'll get a bunch of small stuff for Christmas instead of Thanksgiving (we're Interfaith so we still celebrate both).
We'll be in Hawaii with my step-dad and my step-sister's family (including her in-laws) and we'll be the only Jews so we'll probably just light candles in our hotel room…
