The bird show at AK we've never seen. I'm not a bird fan but I suppose it is one of those attractions that exceeds expectations.

Definitely ToT is my all time favorite! I don't want you to have palpitations so if I can talk you into going on it I'm never short on words so we can chat the wait away.

Uhhh yeah! The alien scene freaked me out the first time!

You would think huh? For as much as we stay in villas every trip.... Every time we walk by the DVC kiosk at DL or WDW I have a little voice that says buy me! I'm scared with the math for 900 points! And then annual maintenance dues for that.

We'll be at BWV and BLT (yeah, two villas) in Dec.

Intermission with some pre-trip updates and some Disneyland photos​

Before I get to the next installment I wanted to share a few plans for our next trip which is about 30 days away.

Having concluded day 4 I'm over a quarter of the way through. Thanks for hanging in there as this is moving at an astounding pace that should conclude this sometime in 2015! Seriously, fellow Disers KatMark and D~ have already concluded their TRs and they were there during my dates. On a positive note, my DR is nearing the end of Day 7 so if you want a preview of what's to come including my Monsieur Paul review with Philippe drop by that thread.

About those plans....

Dates: Em and I will be traveling to WDW from 12/5 through 12/15.

Resorts: 8 nights BWV and 2 nights BLT 1 bedroom (Lake View)

Parties/Events/Dining: Our very first trip during the Holiday season will include a MVMCP, 2 Candle light processional dining reservations, an Illuminations cruise, a ladies afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, an Epcot bar crawl day, and our first return dinner at California Grill since the re-furb. We also have over a dozen dining events and meet ups with a group of ladies (and some hubbys and boyfriends) from the dining boards.

Dismeets: Besides meeting up with 7 or 8 of the ladies from the dining boards, we have several other Dismeets planned.


I'm excited to meet back up with Kathy (KatMark) and even have breakfast together. They kindly offered to be our car pool buddies so we don't have to rely on Disney transportation early in the morning. Very valuable offer indeed!

Another exciting and much anticipated meet up is with Rob (DisneyKid4Life)! Look for some plans for attractions that overlap as well as viewing the Osborn Lights for the first time for us and perhaps a Fantasmic together!

Scott: I'm definitely looking to meet up since I owe you a cocktail. Still not sure which day our paths will cross but we'll make this work.

There are a couple other possible Diser meet ups that are in the tentative stages so look for more to follow.

Unfortunately, our dates don't synch with some Disers that I really looked forward to meeting but hopefully I'll meet Goofy4Prez (Bob) and Wood Nymph another time. (And a whole bunch of other Disers that will be attending the MVMCP on the 3rd. Cynthia (eandesmom) will be there later in the month for a NYE trip! (That should be fun.) I know there are others that I'm forgetting at the moment so my apologies!

After being on the phone with technical support this morning for over an hour awaiting resolution for linking our APs to our Magic Bands I was able to finally schedule some FP+ reservations. Although after all that, it said that for my first day in the parks I already had FP+ reservations. Really? How did that happen when I didn't even have my new AP linked to my reservation. Geez!

We were thrilled to see Disney mail yesterday. Apparently Disney wants my help in testing their MBs. I honestly can tell them what I think already.... And those ME luggage tags - do they really think that I'll only bring one bag with me? They obviously don't know my packing habits.

Since most intermissions involve some form of West coast Disney fun, I wanted to share a few photos of Disneyland park that have started to include Christmas overlay. It was not completely decked out but as of Saturday you could see "snow" on Sleeping Beauty's castle and some decorative garland and ribbons throughout the park.
