I have a question: At the recommendation of somebody here, after my Cape May dinner we are going to walk around on the boardwalk and take in the sites and stuff.
So the question, is the boardwalk at Beach Club Resort, as in just go out of the hotel and there it is, or do I (should I) go someplace else, like the Boardwalk Resort? When I look on a map, it seems as if I can take a boat to the other side of the lake....
Advise please?
Boardwalk is at Boardwalk Resort. If you go out the Beach Club, hang a left and walk along the lake, then take a right to cover over the bridge onto the boardwalk area. It's right across the lake from the Beach Club. A very easy walk too.
Or yes, you could take the boat, but walking off the meal is a good idea. LOL It's also a very easy walk and can be much faster than the boat.
I hope your reservation is a Thursday-Sunday. We had planned Tuesday or Wednesday night and I was disappointed to find out that the actiion is minimum outside of Thursday-Sunday, so we will do DTD instead.
Oh well. Next trip.
Yes, on a Thursday night. But thank you. Even if we just spend some time walking and talking with my parents it will be fine.

Most importantly, are these the directions from Cape May Cafe to Beaches and Cream for dessert?
Actually thinking about packing, does allstar music have hair dryers?
LOL
No. Beaches and Cream is at the Beach Club. From Cape May, take a right out the entrance (don't go through BC lobby) and follow that all the way around the outside of Cape May until you get to the rest rooms and then go to your left and out the doors onto the patio. (Oh look, there's Stormalong Bay!) Walk along the patio and you'll run right into Beaches and Cream.
We stayed at Yacht Club last year (1 year ago this week), and we had to walk back and for to the market at BC to refill our mugs, so I did it a lot!
If you're at Cape May and want to walk over to the Boardwalk, not to B&C, then go toward the BC lobby and go out the doors on the right that will take you down to the lake.

15 days and a sleep!
Today is cold, dreary, and rainy now.
The RedSox fans aren't noticing because they are falling asleep in their office chairs.
I got a little done on my house projects but lots more to conquere in the next 15 days. Just want to leave and feel organized when I come back. Lots to address over the next few months.
Happy Vacation to all that are already there and those getting ready to leave soon. Wahoooooo!
