Oh, I'm completely oblivious to everyone around me too, I'd make an awful stalker IRL. Luckily my oldest and youngest boys notice EVERYTHING, they will both be on the lookout for LGMHs.

I did not realize accuweather had a more extended forecast. Thanks! Temps drop off pretty quickly our week. I was kinda hoping for just one or 2 warmer days for the kids to go swimming. I know I won't be going anywhere near water when it is 70 degrees out!

If it makes you feel better each day I've watched it they have added another day of 80's temp. A few days ago they had the 13th, 14th and the 15th in the mid to low 70's, now those days are all above 80. Check the site tomorrow, the 16th might go up by then. It really is way to soon for them to know anything, but it is fun to look.

My goodness! This thread moves so fast! I wish the time between now and our vacation went that fast! 22 more days!!!

For those who have alittle time before they go, I found if you go to the Earl of Sandwich website, and join their club, they email you a coupon for a free triple chocolate brownie and since I put it in dh's name and his birthday is Nov 6, we received a email with a coupon for a free sandwich. Yay, more freebies. Hope someone else can use this !!

Thank you for this! I got my son signed up for his birthday since we will be celebrating while we are there. I have always wanted to try thus place but this time I will make sure we do!

November friends, pray for us. My sweet DS and Iost part of our hearts as my husband, best friend & best daddy in the world died in his sleep. He was just 39 yrs old.

We were supposed to leave for WDW on the 11th. Why did this happen? Why now??

The other post about fp+: the email response is pretty much what I was told on the phone by a CM. That's reassuring, but we'll see when we get there. I'll let ya'll know what our experiences are. I'm not too worried cuz we can be flexible with our plans, I mainly did it just to try it. But I feel for some of you who are counting on it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!

Anyone dressing up? What about your kids/grandkids/etc?

Older DS is allowed to dress up for school cuz he's a senior, tbut hey have rules about it- no masks, gross stuff. He wore a black long sleeved UnderArmor shirt, red basketball shorts, and his Mickey ears to be Mickey. Apparently a bunch of his friends are going as Disney characters too, especially the girls. After band practice the booster club is doing trunk-or-treat for them from candy that us parents sent in. He'll just help pass out candy when he gets home.

Younger DS said he wasn't going trick-or-treating, but now after talking to his friends has decided to. He said yesterday that he'd dress up like a baseabll player,and now since the Red Sox just won the World Series, he's going to wear his Little League Red Sox uniform from last year.

DH will wear his Michael Myers "Halloweeen" mask and coveralls and carry around a fake knife. Just walking around the neighborhood or standing there he scares grown adults. I have a flapper style dress that I think I'll wear since it's not too cold this year.

I'd love to see pics posted of everyone's costumes!

I'm not into swimming unless its very hot. We look ahead to the 15 days forecasts for an idea. But we used to go early dec. and out of 4 years doing that only one was cold. Last year in mid November we had 4 hot days good enough to swim. Actually only had 1 cool day the whole trip last year. Have a nice vacation. We leave next week Friday. Earl of sandwich us awesome. We always eat there first.

I just said that they kept adding more days around 80 every day that I checked it and sure enough today to opposite happened, all of our days are back in the 70's. I guess we will still be guessing for a bit longer.

I've been counting down for so long and today it finally hit me that we only have 16 days to go! Ordered PP+ and our MVMCP tickets this morning. Finally getting the last minute things together. Need to pull out the Disney bin this weekend and get it all organized and our matching shirts from last year washed. I think today will be the last of our warm days and I will be able to start packing the warm weather clothes.

I have a question: At the recommendation of somebody here, after my Cape May dinner we are going to walk around on the boardwalk and take in the sites and stuff.

So the question, is the boardwalk at Beach Club Resort, as in just go out of the hotel and there it is, or do I (should I) go someplace else, like the Boardwalk Resort? When I look on a map, it seems as if I can take a boat to the other side of the lake....

Advise please?

Boardwalk is at Boardwalk Resort. If you go out the Beach Club, hang a left and walk along the lake, then take a right to cover over the bridge onto the boardwalk area. It's right across the lake from the Beach Club. A very easy walk too.

Or yes, you could take the boat, but walking off the meal is a good idea. LOL It's also a very easy walk and can be much faster than the boat.
