BWV and point transfer from other DVC

I purchase a small BWV contract say 50 points. I want to stay a week during F&W that costs 107 pts. Can I transfer the additional 57 points from my SSR contract and still do the 11 month window?

Points transferred in retain their original home resort and use year. Transferred SSR points can not be used for BWV until 7 months from check-in.

There are no circumstances where you can use SSR pts at BWV at the 11 month window (or vice-versa.)

If you want to book BWV prior to 7 months from check in, you need BWV points. If you could find a BWV owner to transfer you some BWV points, you could use those BWV points to book BWV 11 months out.

You could also book whatever your 50 points would get you at BWV at 11 months and use your SSR points to book a split stay at SSR. Then wait until the 7 month mark and use the SSR points to extend your stay at BWV.

Or you could use banking and borrowing to get to 107 BWV points.

Just so the OP is aware, booking BWV during F&W at the 7-month window can be difficult. Standard View and Boardwalk View rooms are unlikely to be available at that time. If you book either of those views 11 months out with your BWV points, don't expect to extend the reservation at 7 months with your SSR points. Pool & Garden view might still be available but maybe not for all of the nights you need. Expect to have to wait list for some/all of the remaining nights you need at 7 months out.

Your best bet when using a small BWV contract to book during F&W is to bank and borrow your BWV points (as Jean explained above) and go every other year or every third year. If you want to go to F&W more often then learn to like split stays or purchase a larger contract. Some people (DH and I included) don't like split stays because you end up homeless for several hours on your moving day. We prefer to unpack and settle in for the duration of the trip. We bank/borrow so that we have enough BWV points to book the entire stay 11 months out.

you can use 50 banked BWV pts + 50 current BWV pts + 50 borrowed BWV pts to use up to 150 BWV pts to book BWV at 11 months out every third year.

but after using up all of their BWV contract - for the other 2 years, the OP would only have SSR pts available which could not be used to book BWV at 11 months out under any circumstances. the SSR pts can only be used at SSR at 11 months out no matter what other resorts you have contracts at.
