Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

How are people getting fast passes for MVMCP? I have tried and only having FP for normal hrs available.

No fastpass during the party but you can make them up until 7 pm of a party day

If you are using only your MVMCP ticket to enter the park at 4pm - No.

If you are using a park ticket to enter earlier than 4pm - Yes

That is not correct. If your MVMCP tickets are linked you can book FP+ for that day. I've done it.

Ok I have the answer to the kids problem showing up as I had a wonderful IT person explain all of MDE. I was having this issue as well and say your wife controls the kids and the husband and wife each control their own account. The husband would make sure he doesn't have an account for the kids as well and go to add a guest and instead of putting in an email you would go to invite a mutual friend at the top. Then you can select any account you have connected with so the wife's name should be there. Now make sure you are sharing all and that your friends and family list is not private which is an option under change settings at the bottom of the friends and family list page. All of your wife's friends and family should come up and then you would choose your kid which should state the account is controlled by the wife. It will then send an email to the wife and the wife would accept the request to see the kids. Again make sure you share all. Then you should be able to see the kids as well. You will have to do each person controlled by the other person separately. I repeat if the husband made up accounts for the kids as well he controls and then does his he will have duplicate or shadow accounts so before you do this make sure you do not have that person on your list already. I made this mistake and now the IT people have to fix it and delete the shadow account and I have to wait to schedule anything for this person for my trip until it is fixed. It is very confusing so I can help as much as possible if there are questions. The lady who helped me explained things about the website to me for over a half hour and most of them were things I didn't even ask about she just offered. Like if you go to your family and friends list and click edit next to a name and you do not want to see there reservations because your not doing a trip together you can unclick the add as family box and it makes them a friend and then when you vacation with them again you can make them family again by clicking the box and see all of their stuff again. The site is really neat if you know how to use it fully which is the problem I feel with most.

If I try to make FP+ selections for my party night I get a message saying my FastPass+ limit has been reached.
I am not using a park ticket to enter the park that night and have made FP+ selections for all my other days.

I may going to MVMCP but also to the park in the morning. Has anyone that has linked their party ticket and is also using a park admission for the day been able to schedule 6FP+ for that day (3 for the regular admission and 3 for the party between 4-7). It would seem fair since I am using 2 tickets for the one day, but of course things are not always fair or logical.

Mine only show availability until 7PM so can't réserve during MVMCP hours.

I can see all the tickets when I did this. You have to make sure the controlling parent gives you all the permissions and if you are not the controlling parent you might not have access to everything anyway but the tickets should show up. Maybe there is a setting your missing. Also it took a little time for everything to show once I did this. It wasn't instantaneous. Maybe like an hour sometimes.

I did read a post from someone who linked their Halloween tickets and it messed up their regular tickets. I am hoping it doesn't cause any issues because there is nothing I can do about it now. Though to be fair, I've only seen one post so far saying it caused problems. I think the big thing is to remember to bring the actual ticket with you.

One more thing is even if you can't see the tickets you can still book fastpass plus and stuff for them as it will recognize they have a ticket even if it doesn't show. Your wife could see the ticket even if you can't and that's what matters anyway because that's where the kids magic bands is going to link to. They might not let you see it as well because say for example it wasn't your kids but your friends kids you were traveling with another family. Sometimes it is not your family. I can see the tickets on mine for some reason but maybe they haven't come out with this option readily yet as I had IT help when I did it. Sorry it does not solve your issue but I am sure at least linking them will help solve some issues for people who want to book fastpass plus for everyone at one time.

I couldn't do it until I linked the tickets. No reason not to link the tickets that I'm aware of.

That is correct, but you can use FP+ from 4-7pm with just your MVMCP ticket.

If you have tickets linked to your MDE account then you can make fp+ reservations up to 60 days before check in. I'm not sure if you can go to a park and use the fp+'s before you check in.

I couldn't do it until I linked the tickets. No reason not to link the tickets that I'm aware of.

There were some reports of CMs suggesting not to link your MVMCP or MNSHP party tickets because there were some glitches causing people to lose a day on their passes with the system not being able to recognize the use of a hard ticket event entry vs. one day coming off your pass. So if you have an annual pass- no issues... But there's some worry of people losing days off their MYW tickets by linking hard ticket events.

Sister & I are 55 days out
Checking in 12/14-12/22. We booked our package with our travel agent and I linked the reservation months ago. Without doing online check in I was able to select FP+ last week and customize MB's this weekend. I am one of those that was checking every single day and was like a little kid when I saw we could customize!
I was very happy as I thought I was going to have to do online check-in to get access. Everyone going in December - have a magical holiday vacation!

I was able to make my fastpass+ reservations last night at midnight for arrival on Dec 20. I didn't have to do online check in. Seemed very easy to use.

I'm having the same problem. I can see my friend and she can see me but neither of us can see each others kids.

I'm going to try calling tomorrow.

Let me know how that goes...I was on hold the day before for an hour and got nothing resolved...I would like to hear that it works for someone before I call them back. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

In case you guys missed it, since it was a few pages ago. Make the FP+ for you guys and your friend. Then have your friend COPY the reservations to her kids.
