Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

We're Back!!! Hi Ho everyone. How are ya'll doing? We got back Saturday from our Oasis of the Seas cruise. We had a GREAT time. It is a beautiful ship and sooooooooooooooooooo BIG!!! Never got lost, but we did get turned around a couple of times.

Did anyone out there miss us?!??:confused3 Let me see your hands go up...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................no one??:confused3 Ok, ok, ok I do see one hand going up, way in the back there...............no, you were just scratching your head.......sorry, wait now there is another one.............go ahead and put your hand all of the way up..........................no don't put it back down!!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::cool1::cool1:

We did have fun, missed seeing the Disney characters though. But all in all it was a great cruise. We had some wonderful servers at our dinning room table and made some new friends at our table. One couple were newly weds and were on their honeymoon. Our stateroom hostess was fantastic. She was from Jamaica, and she was funny. She had allot of stories she shared with us.

We are soooooooooooo looking forward to this cruise next September. Donna has started a list already of some things we are going to need for this cruise. I also, want to :welcome::welcome::welcome: all of our new cruisers joining us on the cruise. So glad all of you are joining us. Thanks Sparky47 for posting the link to the navigators. We are going to read thru those for sure. It's good to be back amongst all my friends. :cool1::banana::banana::cool1:

Thanks Stephanie. We had a wonderful time, but it was good to get back home.
:scared1: What am I saying........................I could live on a cruise ship year round if they would let me!!! Especially one of the Disney Ships!!!:cool1: Someone taking care of my room for me, someone serving me dinner every night, someone always being sure my glass was full, a new port to check out every now and then. (Guess I got to win that lottery first!!!) Wish we only had 53 more days until our next cruise!!! Ours is something like 10 months and 3 weeks and so many days!!! Waaayyyyyyyyy too long!!! (That lottery thing keeps popping up again!)

Ok, Steve good buddy, where are you?!??! Stephanie says you are too quiet. Hope all is well your neighborhood. Since I only work part time, I am on here a little more frequently. I know Steve is one of our full time employees. I hope work isn't getting in the way of having fun though.:thumbsup2

I'm sorry I can't help you with this question. We haven't flown in years. Hopefully some of our seasoned travelers here on our thread can answer this for you.

I too have a question for anyone out there who may know. Does the Wonder still do the character breakfast? Donna and I were talking about this towards the end of our Oasis cruise. I told her I would ask our fellow cruisers going with us on the Panama Canal cruise. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2

You're right I've been too quiet on this board. Between planning for my Dec WDW trip, my Feb Hawaii trip and watching like a hawk for 2015 DCL dates. I've been neglecting you guys. I have been looking for airfare for this trip though. I figure that in about two weeks I can snag my return air then i'll book my hotel. Thought briefly about adding the kids, but that will essentially double my costs and after such a full plate of vacations this coming year I need to keep it reasonable.

I asked this of the people who just got off the EBPC and they said yes. We had one in Alaska this summer as well.

Yep. Character Breakfast on the July 1st Alaska cruise. It was probably the last one we go to. Kids weren't into it and I really don't like the breakfast offering.

Good to hear from you good buddy. WOW!!! Going to WDW in Dec and Hawaii in FEB.................................uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............hey there my VERY GOOD BUDDY.................My Very Special Very Good Buddy..................uuuhhhhhhhhhhhh do ya need a hand with your luggage..............both at WDW and especially Hawaii!!! I could tag along and help out!!! I am available, and more then happy to give ya'll a hand!!! I don't take much room and I won't eat that much.

I've been watching for 2015 DCL dates as well. They should be coming out here pretty soon. We need plane fare out to sunny CA, so you think about 2 weeks we should be able to book plane fare? Do you book your plane fare your self? Or do you go thru a travel agent? Just wondering which way is the best.

Well, today is my first day back to work. UGH!!!!! One of these days, I'm going to wize up a fully retire!!!:confused3:sad2:

Thanks, but I've got the luggage covered. That's why I had a son! LOL.

It looks like two more weeks and we'll be able to book air. I just did a huge amount if airfare surfing and found that I can get air to San Diego from Fresno and then from Orlando to Fresno for a really great price. It'll eliminate any need for hotels and cut my travel time from about an 8 hour drive to a two hour drive. I'm way happy with that!
