The days are going to be Loooooong, and I know I will be wanting my 5 hour energy drink. Are they or other types available on Disney property?

I'm not sure I can bring them thought airport security via my luggage.

My husband would get Monsters from the resort food court. If you're specifically asking about those little 5 hour energy shots I've never seen them, but if they're anywhere they're probably in the gift shop/store area.

If those little bottles are under 3 ounces each, you can take as many as you can stuff into a quart-size zip-top bag in your carry on. Of course, all of your other liquids and gels must also fit into that bag. You can definitely buy deodorant and toothpaste in the gift shops, so those items could be sacrificed in order to make room for your energy fix.

5 hour energy isn't sold on property but if you are doing checked luggage you could put some in double zip lock bags and put them in your checked luggage.
I do that sometimes. It always triggers a TSA search though so just a heads up. At least that's what I think triggered it for me. The times I don't bring it, my luggage wasn't searched.

You can also buy them at the airport in the gift shops. I've done that too even if it wasn't a cheap as packing them.

Monster is sold on property but I hate that drink. It tastes nasty to me and I usually feel awful once it wears off.

Yup, Monster (green) is the one usually found at most places at the resort. Not cheap either.

I have been able to also find Rock Star (instead of Monster) which is what my DH drinks, I think in the vending machines on the way into the park. I haven't seen a 5 hour drink though.

I did the monster energy drinks while I was there. They had sugar free, and normal, as far as I remember (this past August 2013).

I tend to go to Hess Express to load up on Rock Stars (I hate Monster). Hess at least has non-Disneyesque prices. There is one located near the Boardwalk that is walkable distance. Also, there is one across the street from downtown Disney that isn't too bad of a walk either. Bring a backpack to bring them back to the resort (carrying grocery bags is no fun for me).

AHAH! OK, I can load up in the airport gift shops in Orlando!
They'll cost and arm and a leg, but I can bypass security that way!

OK. I feel a lot better. I plan on staying at Disney and not renting a car at all.

To everyone! Thanks!

If you are staying on property you could always order some and either have them shipped or have one of the grocery delivery places bring you some.

OK, both of these options are new to me.

Is there a thread here on the boards you can direct me too?
I like these.

Garden Grocer is one that a lot of people on here use, if you search you can find a ton of topics on them. There is also a personal shopper/Concierge service down there that I have used and have been happy. If you need the name of it I can PM you. Maybe you could order some from somewhere online like Amazon and have it shipped there?

As pp's have said, those little 5 hr energy's are fine if you put them in your checked bags. Ive done the same with red bulls.

Otherwise, they sell Monster in most food courts!
