Ain't Nobody Got Time For That - Yucky Neighbors! (1/3)

I completely agree with you on TT. I still like it because it's fast, but thought they were going to do some major changes to the ride itself, not the queue and lighting area in the ride.

Not to mention how long it was down!!

I completely forgot about Garden Grill! I never really hear anything bad or good about it! It looks delicious though. I think I would try it out someday!
You should! It was nice and quiet, and the characters were as good as the food!

:rotfl2: I LOVE that shirt! Since they don't make it for girls, I'm just going to have to buy it for DH so I can still feel close to it :lmao:
I wanted it so bad!!! It's a joke my friends and I make often, because I have short arms LOL

Hmmm.... I think you left the part about drinking at breakfast out of your dining review... :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Oh, when I drink early, I will share, no problem there! (It's coming...)

:thumbsup2 Veteran move.

I knew exactly where I wanted to go, and we were headed there!!

Awesome shirt! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

I LOVED the shirt!

We stopped to get Lucky a new ID tag since the one we got him before had been lost last winter.

However, once it was made we realized that it had a big old scratch through paint. The nice lady at the register gave me my money back, but we had a show to catch so we didn’t have time to do a new one, and we forgot to at another point in the trip…

We ran off to catch our show and got AMAZING seats!

With that last photo I realized that even with my flash off my camera has a red light that comes on with every photo I take! I was HORRIFIED that I was “that person” using a light when they tell you not to! This is a good reminder that I need to figure out how to make it not do that!

I LOVE this show! It was beyond amazing.

After the show we checked out another store!

Since I had already bought new ears this trip I didn’t get them, but I loved them just the same!

We also got another squished penny!

After shopping, we got in line to meet some fun friends! Several years ago we tried to meet Dug and while we were in line he had to leave to go to the vet for the rest of the day!
Always willing to wait with me!

Waiting, waiting, waiting!

Finally it was our turn!!

Dug wanted to give Josh some love!

And then Dug tried to eat my head!

While waiting to meet the Up characters we saw animal keepers taking care of these little guys. It was interesting on two accounts. 1) I love animals and 2) the animal keeper looked EXACTLY like one of my best friends. INSANE

We went over to talk to the keepers and they were AMAZING. So nice and really happy to chat about the animals!

Apparently these poor little guys were being kept at pets by someone, and they were being feed Fruit Loops instead of real food! Disney has nursed them back to health and they were so happy!

I love the Russel and Doug pics! They are so cute, I loved meeting them on my last trip. They are such flirts lol!

I love the Finding Nemo pics too. what an awesome show that is, so colorful and wonderful!

We had such fun meeting them! It was worth the wait, makes me sad we missed Dug all those years ago when the movie first came out!

Love that show, I have the sound track even!

A piece of tape over the red light.:rolleyes1

Safe to say you'll be bringing them home on the next trip? :confused3 :lmao:

And then Dug tried to eat my head!
:scared1: I guess he needs to spend some time in the cone of shame.

After visiting we were getting close to our reservation time. We stopped to admire the view :

I was surprised that for me this meal was one of the top hitters for the whole trip. You can read a super detailed report HERE in my dining review, there are LOTS more photos there but because it was so good I am going to rehash a lot of it here. I will also share a few photos that didn’t make my dinging report.

We checked in right on time for our 1PM ADR, and were called almost right away.

I was very excited, and happy to be out of the heat for a bit!

I love everything they have around the restaurant.

Our sever was AMAZING. He saw me taking tons of photos and offered to take one of the two of us.

My steak was beyond delicious. Seriously the marinade was so good.

Josh tried the salmon. I don’t eat fish (except fishsticks) so I have no scale to put this on.

We both enjoyed the wantons for dessert.

I have to admit this meal is where I started to go downhill a little with my eating well. I ate all my veggies first, but I did overeat by the time I finished dessert! I just couldn’t help myself.

We paid, and waddled out of the building feeling very happy and very full.
We decided to give Flights of Wonder a look, because we have never been in! I LOVED the preshow, except the large pack if children who were interrupting and distracting the person trying to talk.

The kids were all wearing matching T-shirts, I’m guessing it was a youthgroup. I felt bad for the woman doing the bird training, she was overwhelmed every time she asked for volunteers and the kids that didn’t get picked were not the best sports about it.

They did a really neat demonstration where a bird flew through circles that the volunteers made with their arms.

We shuffled into the theater, getting pretty great seats.

I LOVE that this whole place is shaded!

Can we talk about how amazing this bird is!? He was singing!

Our tour guide was a HOOT. I found this especially funny due to all of the talk of tour groups here.

I love that they bring out an eagle. Disney is so USA loving it makes me super happy.

Never been to Yak & Yeti. Not really on top of our list of places to try either, but I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.

And don't worry about that whole eating right thing. It is highly overrated. Especially on vacation. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I would recommend trying it at some point!

Yeah I have been doing really well sticking to my better habits, but Jeppers it is hard on vacation!!!

After enjoying the bird show (which is something I am sure we will do again in the future, I loved it) we headed over to take a safari!

It was pretty close to walk on, I was not complaining!

Josh was ready for an adventure!

This ride was a bit different than I have taken in the past. They don’t do the poacher/Little Red story line anymore. I know a lot of people thought it was lame, but I kinda missed it. I also missed the music that they used to play as part of the story, I always felt like the music was a great addition to the ride.

Here are so fun photos from our adventure!

This was really super cool. I didn’t know elephants went underwater!!

Everyone was freaking out trying to take pictures. It was really something neat!

This guy decided to walk down the middle of the road, slowing us down a bit, I didn’t mind though!

Our driver didn’t find it quite as great as I did!

Can you spot the sleep lion!?

Sadly our tour came to an end and we were dropped off to explore alone.

I love that this ride leads you to an area where you can see more animals!
This guy was napping.

Because we had done almost everything we wanted to so far (except see the parade, that was still a bit out) we decided to go ahead and explore the trail.

Some fat frogs.

Happy little guy!

I love the fish pools they set up! They are so pretty, and where else do you see this many fish all in one place!?

I just think he is so handsome, sorry , but not sorry

More fishes!

One of my all time favorite things at Animal Kingdom is the hippo pool. I LOVE how they come around and surprise people, and they are amazing to watch swim!

Continued Below

I love how it looks so calm from above!

We continued down the path to see the meer cats

I remember they normally have someone there talking about them, but they didn’t this time. That made me a little sad, as Josh and I will chat with someone about the animals when we are given the chance!

After a little time with the meer cats we got to check out the gorillas again!

The little one was playing on this tree, which was so fun to watch!

One of the things I love most about Josh is his willingness to slow down and enjoy a moment. I can sometimes be a GO GO GO NOW type of girl, and he really helps me relax and enjoy the moment.

By the time we finished our little walk, it was time to find a place to watch the jammin jungle parade!

On our way though we stopped for some fun photos!

Sweetie, those are hippos under the water, not elephants. :goodvibes

You got some great pics of the gorillas. I love watchihg them. Give me a bench and I would stay there for an hour - which is probably why there are no benches in that area.

No really, look at the second photo, it's an elephant! Even the guid was supprised!!

I love the gorillas too! Maybe someday they will put a few benches over there!

I see the elephant underwater. :) I hope he hadn't drowned. :0 did his trunk come out of the water like a snorkel or did his whole head come up for a breath? That is a COOL photo.

He must have been holding his breath, he was completely under there! I LOVE when I see new and interesting things like that!

Looks like a fun Safari. That's definitely kind of cool to see an elephant hanging out under water. :thumbsup2
