Are you asking about "adjoining" - next door to each other?
or "connecting" - with an interior connecting door?

I would look for the forward section of deck 8 or 9. The only midship ocean view are on deck 2, but I think you would be better off on a higher deck even if you are not midship.

We've had family size ocean view cabins on the Dream on deck 6 (cat 8) near the aft elevators and loved it. Very convenient to restaurants. Fwd is more convenient for shows & adult areas. We didn't feel much motion at all. It's just a matter of preference. As pp mentioned, mid ship on upper decks are not windows. I've never been on Deck 2 of Dream or Fantasy but we have been on the Magic & Wonder and loved that too. If you really must have a window midship it would be on deck 2.

We were in room 9010 on the dream and absolutely loved it. I know you were looking for more mid-ship but I don't know that they have those mid ship. I thought only forward and aft but could be wrong.

We are booked in 6172 for all these reasons. Looking forward to it! :-)

We stayed in a cat 8 family ov on the Fantasy in June. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. We were aft (9158) and found this location to be extremely convenient for the pool and the Oceaneer's Club/Lab. It was less expensive to do the single room rather than connecting cabins.

This is our stateroom for our November cruise. I'm glad you liked the room and location!

We had 9158 and 9160 (had connecting door) on the Dream in August. Honestly, I loved the room but did not like the Aft location. The vibrations were almost constant and quite annoying to me. I would choose a forward stateroom next time if we book that category again.

We also did a midship category 4D last year on Dream and that room was much quieter and we felt no vibrations. I preferred the midship location.

We have stayed in 8668 which was far aft. It was convenient to cabanas and we never felt that we walked too far to get anywhere. The vibration really bothered me at night but the rest of my family did not even notice the vibration. So then we went to the opposite extreme and on our next rip stayed in7016 and 7018 which are connecting rooms that are forward. No vibration - yeah! But we must have walked 10 miles just to get to Cabanas. The rooms were roomy. Loved the round tubs and the window seat. Next time midship for sure.

I don't believe you can get this kind of interior mid ship unless you switch to a balcony, 4D or better.
To have a window with the xlarge interior type cabin (murphy bed) they are only aft or far forward.
