Last day at the resort depression pics!

Hey there,

Every year my family takes a pic of me on our last day at the resort to laugh at how depressed I look before we leave for home. I figured others might have the same pics and get a kick out of how they look.

I submit to you my families last resort day pic from our Beach Club vacation last August. They call it "Beach Club Blues"

The saddest sites at DW:

(This one is actually a little funny. 3 years ago youngest DGD was told to get dressed...it was time to leave. A few minutes later we found her...saying over and over, "I'm NOT going home". "I'm NOT going home"...)

And then the beginning of what I call, "THE WALK"....

As for me, I just keep going back to the same resort every year. At least I know for sure that POFQ keeps loads of kleenex behind the front desk - they always run out to bring me more as I walk by toward the exit

This was my youngest DS on our balcony at the Yacht Club last month, the morning we were leaving...

I hate that last morning, so depressing.

I hate that last morning, so depressing.

Actually the last morning was not as much of a problem for us it was after we were home that the Disney withdrawal hit. Our last night I packed while the kids were sleeping. Our last day I kept us busy. We brought our luggage to the bell sevices and checked in for our flight first thing in the am. we then caught the bus to Downtown Disney for my kids first time at T-Rex and a last chance to walk around the Lego Store. The kids were so excited to get to DD that it did not even hit them that we were leaving. But when we got home it has taken me a week to get over the "Disney Withrawal. I found the only thing that works is planning another trip! The hubby hates crowds and Disney was a bit much for him. He had his mind set this would be the last Disney trip for us. I am persitant though and have him talking into doing another trip when they add on to Animal Kingdom. Wola the thought of another Disney trip was an instant cure!!!

I always joke with my wife and say "God I hate those people so much!" when we are leaving the resort and people are checking in! I do it every year.

We do the exact same thing. We book a Bounceback offer before we check out to help ease the pain. My famous saying to my wife is below in my signature. I say it every morning when I wake up.
