Disney Cruise Brides!!! Part Deux!!

So I decided to finally try to upload a few pictures from our wedding. We were married on August 6 (My birthday!) on our Alaskan cruise. The wedding was held at 5:30 that evening so that we had entered the inside passage and were surrounded by mountains. It was breathtaking... We had beautiful weather and were able to be able to get married outside on the secret deck, on deck 7. We did use the onboard photographer due to the cost of the cruise it wasn't economical for us to even consider hiring an outside photographer to bring along. Our photographer blew us away with our pictures, we added an extra hour and purchased the CD so we have too many to choose from. We were truly impressed with the wedding package and all that they did for us.

Whoa! Amazing! Was this the day/time/venue that u had requested? I've been wondering what is the likelihood of getting what u request.

It was the day we had requested. We requested late afternoon, so 5:30 was a little later than we expected, but they obviously planned it later due to when we would be entering the inside passage so it was worth the wait. We had requested outside as long as the weather held up. I hope that you get everything you request for yours!

How lovely!! My special deck!! I am going to miss it when they refit the ship :(
 


Question for you ladies that have been to the spa on your wedding day! Do they just offer a mani or can you also get a full set? Not sure what to do as we will be staying at WDW 3 nights before our cruise leaves! Do I just get my nails done at home before we leave and then get a pedi on the ship, get both on the ship or try to get them at Disney before the cruise??

What have you ladies done??

Hey Beth. Beautiful pictures! I'm getting married in Alaska next summer. Did you get a legal license before you left home, or did you try to get one in Canada? Thanks!

I just wanted to say how beautiful your wedding pictures came out! It's great to see the weddings on the different itineraries as I'm sure most people do the Bahamas or Caribbean! Congrats

Super excited that our wedding confirmation stuff came today! Yay! I got the official date and time, just no news for where the ceremony will be held. I'm excited to hear but it's not a big deal really. :) Also, as of today, I can officially say that my wedding is next month! ;)

Thank you! Yes and yes! I wanted the second day of our cruise and I was hoping for an early evening time. I didn't request anything though. My wedding will be at 4 PM on November 16th. :) We did the early dining, which is why I think it was 4 PM. I was a little bummed I chose the early dining after hearing all the recommendations for late dining, but I think 4 PM is perfect timing for the ceremony/pictures!

Now to pray for good weather and a good photographer. ;)

We actually had our legal ceremony the day before we left for vacation. The more I was reading about getting a marriage license for Canada, the easier the legal ceremony at home seemed. It was nice to know that it was all taken care of before we left. You will love Alaska, we weren't sure what it was going to be like, but it was more amazing than we ever imagined.
