Once Upon a Time~ PART 2~

Magic is back! Woot woot! Can't wait for 8!

It starts at 7. Two whole hours! It's my impression the first hour is a catcher upper on last season and at 8 is the Premiere. I've been trying not to read any spoilers. I want to enjoy it and have no idea what is going to happen.

Now thats what I'm talking about.

That episode was soo much better than all of last season.

Things I enjoyed:

-Loved Emma's angry discussion with the parents not having any more wisdom than she does because they are the same age.

-the comment aimed at Rumple about 'is a wardrobe change really the best use of your time right now'.

-So happy to see Snow finally deck Regina in the face.

-the creepy lost boys and I'm glad Pan has an actual body and he is not just that shadow.

-how everyone used their talents to fight the mermaids. Regina used magic, Charming used the cannon and Emma and Snow used their brains and thought that capturing one might help.

-glad to see Phillip is back

Things I did not like:

-um...wasn't Neil just shot?! How is he traipsing around with Mulan? did I miss something?

Hopes for the rest of the season:

-I think Mulan and Neil would actually be pretty good for each other. Don't think that hook up will happen but I hope it does.

-The previews showed Belle and Rumple, but I'd actually rather Belle stay away for a long while. I like Rumple on his own better. Not sure what it is about Belle, but she is not one of my favorites.

-I also reeeally hope the writers thought this season through and have a cohesive story line that they will follow.

Well said. . Loved snow decking Regina! I was thinking Peter was Michael or John at first. Then it hit me who he was about 15 seconds before they revealed him.
It seemed like Rumple was out of place with his FT clothes and his SB face. Not sure why.

Was Rumple a mix of the 2 possibly some deeper meaning as he maybe is combing if you will into one person??? Just a thought as that perplexed me too.....

I was thinking maybe Rumple was once a Lost Boy. Also, was it ever revealed what fairytale character Tamara was? I know early on there was talk of her being Ursula. My guess is Kaa the snake from Jungle Book. In one of the last season episodes she utters "Trust in me" and that's the first thing that popped into my head.

I don't think Tamara ever was a fairy tale character - I think she was just a pawn...I think they both really believed they were out to destroy magic....

OK I'm have a mental lapse...I remember Princes Phillip being killed by the Wraith...but can't remember him coming back to life. I don't think I missed any episodes...maybe I'm just getting old.

Peter Pan was the boy who was "helping" Henry escape from the Lost Boys. The one who had the pixie dust.

I read on the FB page that just Philip's soul was taken by the wraith and that we may not find out til later in the season how they got it back!
