BOG new test lunch res online?

we are headed down in 2 weeks, we have already made our FP+ requests. There are 18 of us so my mil did them all. Will we have to have a FP+ request to eat lunch at BOG?
Not sure I understand the question but are you asking whether the BOG FP is linked to the FP+'s you make for rides? It doesn't count towards your 3 FP's. You reserve the BOG FP thru a website link and it will not show on your MDE app or online. Hope that helps!
 
I've been following the thread, but I can't seem to find out the answer to my question.

I logged in to the lunch website a while back, but of course couldn't get a time for November. Now I can, but we've since modified the days of our stay...but the days I have to choose from on the BOG lunch site are the old days, not the updated ones.

I tried making a new account, but that didn't work. Still the same days. Any ideas?
 


To those of you who could book a lunch fast pass, did you have an invite from Disney by chance?

Nope. It seemed to open about 30 days before my check-in date.

For what it's worth, I never got an invite for Magic Bands, either, but those are in my possession ;)
 
I am sure this has been asked before so I am sorry if it has, but is there any real pros or cons between ordering ahead and not ordering ahead? Is it just faster if we order ahead? Is the food put together fresh when we show up or if we show up towards the end of our window will the food have been sitting out for 15 minutes? We weren't expecting to be trying MM+ on this trip so I didn't do much research into it, but sure enough we got the invites on Saturday (didn't know until Sunday) so now I am trying to catch up.

I got an email invite when we stayed mid-September. I didn't even know about the fp lunch until I got the email. In fact, we were already at the park when I got the invite!!

Even if you order ahead you have the option to change your order when you get there. We added a few things, but IIRC we could have deleted as well. So I doubt they prepare anything ahead of time.

When you get to the cashier you just hold your room key up to the green mickey head and your order comes up on the screen, so I think the pre-order is just an attempt to move the line faster.

It won't. You can just log back into the same BOG reservation website and choose "view..." To see your reservation.

When I try to log back in, it shows "error". I'm not getting the option to view what I booked yesterday. Just makes me worry that it's not gonna stick or isn't valid.

Is there anyone who has already been who encountered the same issue....made a BOG FastPass for their visit and just walked up to podium and gave their name and it was fine?
 
I did online checkin this morning and wrote down the 12 digit reservation number that I saw in the URL when I hovered over....


But when I log into the BOG website, I get the error "Thank you for participating. Please try again later. If you continue to encounter this message, you can seek further assistance at the Lobby Concierge desk at your Walt Disney World resort or upon arrival at the Be Our Guest restaurant."

So I tried using another WDW account email and password that I have that was NOT used to make our reservations, put in the same reservation number, and it works!

So weird how it won't work using the MDE email address and password.

YES!!!!! That is exactly what happened to me, so I used another email address and password and I was able to get a time for BOG BUT...now I can't log back in to take a screen shot or change my options or anything. I am getting the same error message again on the new email and password.

Awesome! That is good to hear. I was thinking that it was all ready for you and sitting at a table that they tell you to sit at, sort of like the way lunch works on KttK. It's good to know that we can order now and change when we get there. Thank you. :thumbsup2

I actually just thought of another question... is 1:35-1:50 the latest time they offer? I wouldn't mind having a time later, even though I am sure there isn't much of a line at the time we got as it is.

Bummer! :( I just tried logging in to see mine again, and it worked. I just took a screen shot of it just in case I run into the same issue that you are having. Sorry I can't be of more help! :(
 
I am taking my 80 year old mom down the last week of Oct. We have separate rooms so 2 reservation numbers. I get the error message but can book her a FP time. Trouble is, it is only for 1 guest. Hoping they will let me eat with her. :crazy2:
 
What is the latest reservation date wise that we have seen, I can log in and see my December dates but see "no fast passes available for this date"
 
I still can't get in. I get the guest already registered. I tried creating a new log in but it won't let me do that. Ugh.

Same problem here.

We have two adults and three grandkids. After the login for both my wife and myself (and after entering the Reservation Number), I get the "Guest Already Registered" screen.

I tried logging in for one the grandkids but got the "Thank you for participating. Please try again later" screen.

Guess I will call tomorrow to see if they can fix this for me.

I'm afraid of trying to make a reservation for too many people and not getting in.

We check in 11/23 and I haven't been able to get it yet. I've only seen people up to 11/22 be able to.
