We will be at POFQ for halloween, do they have any thing special going on halloween day/night? We are also thinking of heading over to Boardwalk because they have a few things going on there.

What are UCT tickets? That makes me nervous because we bought discounted tickets through Run Disney and they told me I could link them when we got them at check-in.

Could one of our current or soon-to-arrive POFQ visitors do me a favour and get some snaps of the menus in the food court for me? Just smart-phone camera pics of each TV screen would be fine, and email them (to admin(at)portorleans.org) via the resort Wi-Fi or when you get home.

I did a full update at the start of Aug, but POR had a few menu and price changes at the end of Aug (now listed) and I just want to check that POFQ is still correct too. Ideally, a full set of pics for breakfast, lunch and dinner would be perfect - but whatever anyone can manage would be great too.

We were there for Halloween 2 of the last 3 years. They had nice candy out by registration for the whole week. The games and contests were not fun for us. They had boxes of cupcakes for prizes so for things like bingo they had 3 dozen and 3 people each won a dozen and then after they played a bunch of games for tiny oriental trading party favors they had been giving away. It just wasn't well thought out. They kept changing rules mid-game , etc. Animal kingdom Lodge does a great job though....

no trouble converting two sets of UT tickets at POFQ in June. One was a recent purchase with five days and PHs. The other was an older non expiring ticket that has one major park day and a few water park and more entries

We decided to go for it!! Spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who changed us from 4 nights at CSR to 5 nights at POFQ. We added tickets to our package (which we were going to buy separately, anyway) so qualified for the free dining plan as well. Really excited!!

I called to see if I could change my reservation from 4n@CSR to 5n@POFQ and was told that if I added tickets to the package I would qualify for free dining. I was going to book tickets direct with Disney anyway, so I thought I might as well. Never done a DP before, so I'm excited to see what it's all about

Big difference. UK guests get offers that US guests don't, plus apparently a lot earlier. (I would say that any offers for next summer probably won't be available until next spring.)

Ah, yes, that's the difference! You're going to love the Free Dining. Every trip we've been on, we've been able to snag that and it's so much fun!

We only found Free dining last year. This is our second time and we are soooo excited.on this trip we can focus on the best disney food

Yes, it makes quite a difference. Free dining is offered as a booking perk via the UK Disney Travel Company most of the year round, whereas for US guests it is for fairly limited periods.

UK guests also get GREAT value 14-day and 21-day all-inclusive park tickets, whereas the US equivalent Magic Your way stops at 10 days and needs adds for water parks and park hopping (after which time it is basically cheaper to buy an Annual Pass).

Wow, how long are you going to be there for, it's only $2 per load! They do take debit cards as well as credit cards by the way, but not KttW cards or Magic Bands. The Riverside laundries all still take cash.

Thanks! We can use our debit card then!! We will be there for 3 weeks and I do a laundry every second day wash and tumble dry of our lighter clothes (we change our clothes in the afternoon after our midday break back at the resort so we build up laundry rather quickly!) and I add an extra load for darker colours when needed but usually once per week
