We are at the Beach Club, it's Sept 19, 2013. We have a working fridge. Our coffee pot only makes 2 individual cups at a time. Disappointing. We brought our own coffee as there are 3 adults in the room that like coffee all day long. I'll ask at concierge if they have traditional coffee makers we could use. The blow dryer is in a bag under the sink and there's small holes where the wall mounted one used to be.

We are absolutely loving being able to walk to Epcot, which is our favorite park! Haven't tried the pool yet, it was raining when we arrived yesterday, but that's our morning plan for today. So far we set up our fastpass plus and the times will work very well. We placed ourselves in the parks when it's suppose to rain again, so that we'd have pool time when it's sunny! I'll update later and answer any questions.
 
Just ask housekeeping for more pods. They will give you as many as you like! :) The individual cups brew quickly. Much quicker than the old pots they used to have.
 
Question for you: Did you have Magic Bands and PP+ set up before your arrival or where you able to do that upon check-in?

Our bands arrived at our home within three days of confirming our address 2 weeks before check in. We were able to book all of our FP+ times at home. Just returned from our stay at the CR. Hardest thing about FP+ is making selection that not not clash with ADRs. The ideal windows for your touring plan is difficult to plug in. Window can be adjusted but the options allowed are restricted. You may want a 10am for BTM but the earliest the system might grant is 4pm. Fortunately we still had access to the paper FP tickets too using the KTTW card. That won't last. When everyone is racing for FP+ windows, it is gonna get nasty out there.

We had our magic bands delivered which was nice because we could customize them. If you wait to get them when you arrive, they will all be grey. It's easy to set them up online and they even put your name on the inside. We waited until we arrived to set up our FP+ and it was pretty easy if you have the My Disney Experience app. They give you approx 4 choices of time based on your ride choices and you choose the one you like best. Then you can go in and change it. Sometimes the passes for early in the day are used up, but we still got something for every ride we wanted. It's such a breeze to just walk into a park and board your ride of choice!

Thank you for the info! We are having a hard time linking tickets so I was just wondering if we can't fix it before our trip, if we could still participate (assuming they are still testing in Dec). Have a great trip!
 


We didn't link our tickets because we had changed our reservations and somehow the computer was mixing the old with the new. The front desk straightened I all out when we arrived. My daughter's My Dis Exp app never quite synced up with mine, but otherwise everything went very smoothly. Love, love, love the new FP+!

So you didn't link tickets but still received bands in the mail? From other posts, it seemed you must link tickets to be eligible to test?
 
On my My Dis Exp app the magic bands was just there, so we ordered them. The reservation dates listed were the cancelled ones, so I didn't link it. The reservation number stayed the same and the Documents that were mailed with the ME vouchers had the correct info. I just figured I wouldn't worry about it until I arrived and it worked out just fine. So, no I didn't link and yes, I ordered customized bands, which arrived very quickly. You can always call and ask them to explain how to get set up, but it really wasn't very difficult at all.
