Has anyone stayed with five family members in a room? DS 10months so he won't count towards occupancy. We stay here once, DD4 and DD1 and used the pack 'n' play, but I am wondering if anyone has done it with three kids? Kids will be DD7, DD4 and DS 10months.

I have thought about renting DVC to stay in a one bedroom but I honestly rather stay here. We always take a break in the middle of the day to come back and eat at the food court and rest a little before going to a different park. I also love the size of the resort.

Sitting in the courtyard of POFQ right now enjoying the beautiful atmosphere and music playing!!! I love this place!! Buses have been great, boat to downtown Disney wonderful, and nice low crowds in the parks!!! Amazing vacation so far!!

There will 10 of us, all adults, staying at POFQ in November. We have dinner reservations one night at 'Ohana and am wondering the best way of getting there using Disney transportation.

I'm thinking a bus to the MK and then the monorail to the Poly.

Thanks,
Linda

That's how we go too, 'Ohana is our favorite, traditional first night at WDW dinner! We'll be there Nov 2-10 to celebrate DS 10th birthday on the 7th that week!

Great panorama of the lobby, Andre. When I was there in April (before the refurb of the lobby), I thought that the music notes were gone (didn't notice them and never went back to double check). But now it is definite, they are gone. Makes me a little sad for some reason. No notes, no Elliot . . . just not the same.

Speaking of Elliot -- What did you think of the new guy?

Thanks for the pictures of the lobby Andre!! We are going to be staying at POFQ for the first time in December and can't wait. We've always stayed at AoA Little Mermaid before, so I am looking forward to not having far to walk!

That is sad about the musical notes....definitely sad about Elliot. He will be missed. :sad1:

(I am also curious about the new guy)

We are leaving Oct 5th. Hope we have the same report as you.

He's very good, but quite a different act to Elliot. Instruments-wise, he plays keyboard and has backing/rhythm/etc tracks on a computer as needed.

The set that I listened to featured more mainstream standards and less New Orleans jazz/blues, but Tom said that he does a lot of requests so the tone of the show tends to change based on the audience - if they want jazz, that's what he'll play.
