Oh the places We Go, The People We see

Our next stop was the Little Mermaid ride once again. We had loved it so much a over week ago that we had to give it another try.

I probably got a lot of the same queue pictures, but I couldn’t remember what I took before and this time I tried a few more flash pictures too.

The line was walk through again and soon we were on our way.

Of course we all know they fell in love.

That was another fun and fabulous ride. We really do like this one.

We exited and we had quite and exciting site.

The Holiday Wishes had started and watching them from the New Fantasyland was quite a treat.

We had fireworks virtually going off on all sides of us. We could turn around in a circle and see different things.

This one was a wrapped present….how cute is that?

We were VERY impressed with the fireworks and would love to see them from here again.

Great pictures of BoG and the new Little Mermaid ride. Loved them all. We've watched the fireworks from Fantasyland before and, like you, loved the fact that the fireworks were going off all around us. It's truly a neat place to watch them.

I have watched them from Fantasyland before too and it was neat, but in New Fantasyland it is so much better!

The queuing area at the Little Mermaid ride is beautiful. In California it is rather bland. I love the fireworks photos with the Ariel statue in the background. Maybe I need to consider watching the fireworks in that area this time round.

The queue is really neat.
And yes, I love those shots too.

My kids went on the Little Mermaid once and refused to go back on.

Allison at the ripe old age of 12 has decided she's too old for princesses. Michael declared it "girl stuff".

It is a prince with no pants! :rotfl2: Seriously, that is too funny.

OK, i think I missed a room at BOG. Now I know I need to go back. Darn server, she didn't tell me everything. Glad you got a surprise visit to BOG. Very cool. That soup looks good.

I love the pictures of Beast's Castle at night. It really IS dark back there.

Great pictures of Claire and you with Belle. Love all the shots between you and the PP photog. Very nice.

Forgot to add that Claire's party dress is adorable and i love your LM pictures, especially with the fireworks outside.

I made my DH ride the Ariel ride last week, he wasn't thrilled, but it was ok! It was a cute ride, but I don't think I will ride again. The new Fantasyland is pretty cool looking.

I see what you mean about that Belle. All the Belles I've seen have been very pretty.

We never made it to the Beast's castle. I didn't try just walking up because I thought the wait would have been to long. I really wanted to see inside there.

The prince with no pants looks like a Ken doll with no pants!

That does sound like the perfect spot to watch the fireworks from. We were on the people mover when they started going off.

:rotfl2: I sure hope Claire never gets to that point. I might have to disown her then.

I love the LM ride! I think they did a great job with it!!

I do too.

Someone pointed it out a while back on another TR and now I can't look at the picture without seeing him with no pants on.

We loved the party dress. We were so thankful to Janet for loaning us so many wonderful outfits.

Men...they just don't get it. :rotfl: Sometimes Skip surprises me on the things he likes and doesn't like.

He does look a bit like Ken doesn't he? :rotfl:
I am often in Tomorrowland when they start going off too

Jen, those are by far the BEST pictures I have seen of the new Mermaid ride yet. Absoultely fabulous!

Glad you got to go to BOG, I really want to try it there when we go next time.

LOL at the Prince with No pants!

Love the pics from the LM ride.

The Fireworks pics were cool too. I remember watching Wishes from Fantasyland a couple years ago and it was crazy, like they were coming from all directions.

I am heading out of town for the weekend to my sister Amanda's house in Columbus. They recently opened an American Girl Doll store there and Claire has been dying to go there. We have a lunch reservation for Sat. Claire has been counting down the days all week.

Claire doesn't have school on Monday, so we are going to make a full day of Sunday as well and we plan to go to the Franklin Park Conservatory that day. Amand gave me a list of a few places to go and that one sturck my fancy...and then I saw they have a Dale Chihuly exhibit going on right now too, so that sealed the deal.

I will see you all again next week, but might check in here and there.

I hope to get a chance to try it again. Now a days it is really hard to get.

I loved seeing the fireworks from there.

I hope you will have a great weekend. I am green with envy about the Dale Chihuly exhibit. Please take plenty of photos.
