As of today we can do online check in I better go do that!!

Do you have to do online check-in in order to do Magic Bands and FP+? I'm going to try to link my UT tickets that just came today and see what happens. Please let me know if I need to do online check-in also.

No. People have reported being able to customize bands and make FP+ without doing online checkin first.

After reading some posts of having to redo online check in to get the fast pass+ choices today, I'm thinking ill hold off for awhile now. I was so looking forward to doing it in a few days too. Being "checked in" would have made the trip feel a lot closer!

I see the list of resorts reporting success today but what dates are working? Starting when? And still just through Oct 31st?

No. People have reported being able to customize bands and make FP+ without doing online checkin first.

I'm staying mid-November at CSR and thinking I will hold off on online check in for a bit. It seems there are reports of having to redo it or resubmit it to get the magic band/FPP to work today. And I was looking forward to that at 60 days as it would have made the trip feel closer having "checked in!"

Thanks for the replies. I'll play around tonight and hope to have some success! Will figure out online vs in-person check-in at a later date.

My MDE still says "manage magic bands", at some point does that switch to "customize bands"? I'm 78 days out.

Nobody has been able to make fastpass+ reservations or customize magic bands for check in dates after October 31st, unless they already had bands from a previous trip.

We're all still waiting...

All Star Movies isn't in the October testing. I bet it would work for you though if you changed your first night stay to AOA or POP.

I was able to do FP+ tonight for our stay Oct 23 at ALl Star Movies. Although, I think I will miss the old system. Less retentive, more vacation-y. I over plan enough as it is.

All this exciting news today makes me think I need to check MDE constantly during the day now. I hadn't been on here in about 24 hours so threads have really blown up. Doesn't seem like the change happened at any particular hour. Do you think there will be an official press release or announcement if (WHEN) November opens? Or some will just luck into discovering it? I imagine the website will be overloaded in the beginning!

Yup. And there are some people that had trips to a testing resort during a previous trip who are able to make FP+ reservations for their trips in November too.

Nobody else yet.

Checking into AoA in October so was able to customize Magic Bands and get FP+ but only up to Nov 11th. Checking into BWI 11/22. Looks like regardless of previous reservations you can't get FP+ more than 60 days out.

We are at 51 and not able to get FP+ despite WL being added today. Bet FP+ will come online for us when the Nov MB resorts are opened.

Checking into CR 11/7 and was able to customize MB and schedule Fps today. That could be because of the split stay we are doing which begins in October at WL. No matter the reason....I AM SO HAPPY!!
