What a great trip report!! June 2014 can't come soon enough! I am so excited for the kids (and my mom) to go to Alaska! And on another Disney Cruise...they can't be beat!!

I think we are going to change one of our excursions from the Misty Fjords Float Plane to the Bering Sea Crab Fisherman's Tour. Looks like something that would be much more memorable for my kiddos!

Great TR! Glad you got your luggage...crazy. I would have been stressed out not knowing if I would ever get them or would it cost more to get them.

Thanks! I plan to write a report of our WDW trip in November, and then our next cruise is November 2014. It was supposed to be in March, but we just had to back it up because we are going to build a new house!

As for the luggage, I was too tired to care! But if it had been on the front end of our trip, that would have been awful!

We did love the Crab Fisherman, but I also highly recommend seeing Alaska from the air. When it comes down to it, go with what you think your group will enjoy the most.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely TR! Thoroughly enjoyed reading it, looking at all the pics and all the tips about booking excursions on our own. We are going in June on the Wonder to Alaska and i started reading these TR's now to get an good idea of what to expect. While i am enjoying them, i am also realizing how agonizingly long the wait is I guess its one way of organizing everything beforehand.

I had one question, is it walking distance from the Fairmont hotel to Canada place, especially with all the luggage or is it a taxi-drive?
