I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

The Tree House Villa looked lovely and as a golfer myself the person who nearly hit you should not be allowed on the course :rotfl2: Wonder how many balls they lost that round? Oooh maybe I'll have to go and look :lmao:

Pleading ignorance here I had to google to find our where the treehouse villas even are. From the looks of the pics you'd somehow managed to be in Canada somewhere ; ). ditto on the muppets key. Thanks for the schooling so early on.

That's okay! They were closed for so long and they are kind of hidden in WDW too. But they are absolutely beautiful.

Aw man, I can't wait to travel with kids to Disney to hear all the awesome and hilarious stuff they have to say!! It's great!!

Nice pics!!

Ah! The villa is so cool! A treehouse would be the best place to stay, glad you didn't get knocked out by that golf ball!

It's one of my favorite parts of taking the kids. I just want to hear the crazy things they say. It helps that Joaquin is only five and is basically ridiculous.

Girl....I'm so grateful I didn't get knocked out by the golf ball. I thought about it afterwards, and I was thinking that could have been awful!

The Tree house villa's look like fun. We'll, except for the rouge golf balls coming at your head!! :scared1:

That's not a good thing, but thank goodness you had serious pixie dust covering your butt!! pixiedust: Well, actually your head!

I know right! I did have some major pixie dust going on with that golf ball.

My Dad is a golfer too, and so is my brother. I dabble, but not much. And from the location of our villa, it wasn't like we were right on the golf course. I mean, he hooked or sliced that bad boy wwwaaaaayyyyyy off the green. I concur that they shouldn't be allowed back on the course. :rotfl:

It was LBV if you want to go check. :lmao:

Hahaha, Jeni really put it well trying to quantify what the heat felt like. But it made me beg the question "how do you know what 100 people in your pants feel like?" :rolleyes1 :lmao:

maybe it's better if you don't ask! :thumbsup2

I have read all of the Charlaine Harris novels. Except the last one. I think I'm in denial that it's the last one......

I just read it last week. It was good but....I felt it was....rushed, is really the only word I find appropriate. I just feel like a lot was done just to get it over with, and a lot that was left unsaid or "undone" as it were. IDK. Maybe it's just me. Like I said, I liked it. But it wasn't my favorite (I think we all know book 4 is everyone's favorite! ;) )

The Villas were really nice. Since we're DVC, we've just been waiting for the right opportunity to stay there. We had just the right amount of people.

Yeah...there's only two of us. That would be an absurd amount of space for two people! They sure are pretty though!

Following my style of being fashionably late I've now completed the trifecta of Danielle (Dani?) TRs!! Wow THREE!!! And studying to be a CPA. :faint: You're going to need another Dis trip to recover!

I've not seen any THV reports so yours is the first. Cool! :)

Yeah, I agree that I don't think I want the answer to that question. :rotfl:

Good to know about the final book. I found that the last one left something to be desired for me, and that's kind of why I hesitated getting the last one this time. I'm getting cheap in my old age.

It would be a ton of space for two people! We haven't been able to justify it until now.

Haha, no worries on being a little late. I've joined late to TR's many times myself.

You can call me whatever you will. Just don't call me late for dinner......

I am going to need a trip to recover. We don't have another trip planned until May, so I think I'll have time to wrap up some of my TR's.......goodness sake I hope I do. :lmao:

I love the Muppets, you know, I've never seen the key under the mat though...someday I'll remember to check! (Although, honestly, I feel like a bad Disney fan for saying this, but I'm not even 100% sure where to look...:sad2:)

Ugh...it sounds like it was hot that day, I can relate to that 100 people being in your pants feeling. :crazy2: :rotfl2:

Wow that Treehouse is nice! I wish I had an excuse to stay in one someday, but since it's just Brandon and I there's kind of no point! :confused3 :rotfl:

Exactly! :thumbsup2 Two words for you: "Willow Selfies"

Hahaha! Right?!

Right when you walk in to the Muppets, there's an old school ticket booth. It's under the rug that's right in front. ;)

It was hot that day for sure. I mean, the whole trip was hot, but I think it was emphasized because we had just gotten there. We had a really mild summer in Illinois too, so it was just crazy hot! And I think we all know what it's like to have the 100 people in your pants feeling. :lmao:

Most times, we don't have a reason to stay there either. It was really nice to be able to this time.

I already love this TR, and your family. :rotfl: I often wish I had a neice or nephew since kids are amazingly hilarious (and it's always nice when you can, you know, give them back). I always tell me sister she needs to get on that ASAP so I can spoil her kids, buy them drum sets, take them to Disney, feed them sugar and then return them to her. ::yes::

Hahaha, glad that you're having a good time around these parts. :lmao:

My nephews are amazingly hysterical. Joaquin just takes the cake. I don't even have words enough to describe him, and I'm around him on a constant basis.

I am with you about the giving them back part. I don't want children of my own. I love them, but I'm completely fine with having a great time and then handing them back to the parents. :rolleyes1

Joaquin IS a very, very smart boy. It's so cool when kids start seeing reality and commenting on it as if they are the first ones to discover it!

Great family shot!

woohoo :woohoo: to checking in at the tree houses. Aren't they great? I can't believe you almost got wacked in the head with a gold ball. REally? That could have gone very wrong. :sad2: Glad you weren't injured and you sure took it all in stride!

We really loved the Treehouses. We definitely should have stayed there the whole time.

I didn't take the golf ball thing in stride at first. I was pretty upset. But, when I thought about it, I figured that the worst didn't happen, so it was all good.

We have the Treehouse Villas at the top of our list. My only disdain for them (from pictures) is that it includes a kitchen. I don't like cooking at home and i know if there is a kitchen it would be all..."We can save money and you cook here"...nope, that isn't a vacation to me!!! :lmao:

I totally get it with not wanting to cook on vacation. We only cooked once during our trip. We grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken. We made it very easy on ourselves and had bagels, cereals in the mornings and for lunches when we were at the villa we had sandwiches. Not much cooking done for sure. ;);)

Hahaha. You know, my Mom always says that. "It has a full kitchen, we can cook!" And I always go "heck no we're not cooking!"

As my Mom commented below, we really only used it to have breakfast in the morning, we made sandwiches sometimes, and then on our relaxation/resort day we barbecued. The kids loved the fact that we barbecued.

Agreed. And I don't plan to ever cook a lot on vacation. :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

I always wondered about random golf balls when it comes to OKW or Treehouse, very happy that you did not get hit. I stayed at the Treehouse Villas in the early 90's (?) and they look great now

I left WDW on July 4th and I think Jenni's estimation of 100 people in her pants is a gross underestimation. That was definitely the hottest day of our trip!

I hadn't even thought about that prospect, but that's because I haven't ever stayed there or even really been in the area.

Wasn't that day ridiculous?! For real. And I had dressed stupidly for the weather here, and since I didn't have my luggage with me, I couldn't change when I landed. DUMB!

Hi everyone!

So I'll be typing an update for this weekend, but wanted to give you a little teaser of what's to come.....

Clearly..........someone continues to lose his mind.
