Costco Minivan rental, lowest I've ever seen

I just logged into Costco's travel site and booked a minivan through Budget for a total of $164 for 7 days (Sept 21-28). That's the lowest I've seen for a minivan with taxes included. Just wanted anyone else to know in case they were looking.

I see 256 through alamo on costco's site...maybe you'll get lucky. I booked through alamo at 215 and checking today budget showed up for 166

Can I cancel that is something comes up better without a penalty? $$$ or is that pre paying price?

Edit: Okay I'm in at $255 and I will be able to cancel it without a penalty if something comes up better.

Edit. 9/8 Dropped to $237 tonight 9/27 - 10/5 Minivan.. Costco Code , still have 19 days to go

Car rental prices do seem to drop 7-10 days or so before your pickup date. Ours went from $245 to $108 (not WDW but Florida, nonetheless).

Make sure you check again. You can always cancel and rebook if you don't do the prepaid rental.

Thanks, I needed a mid size SUV. But Costco had a better price with Alamo then I had, so I got that for $199 all in. Not too bad. It is the same price as Insiders, I checked though, lol.

I will keep looking, it sometimes drops closer to my dates. (arrive 9/26)

Actually, I noticed that if you DON'T have a Costco membership and use Jimbo's codes above when on Budget's website, the price is exactly the same as when you booked through Costco.
GREAT TIP for those without memberships.

Wow, that is awesome. For November Costco is still showing up as over 400 for 8 days for me. Hopefully I'll get a better deal closer to the departure date.

Just got a minivan for 11/21 thru 11/29 for 299.19 from Dollar - just did the city special no codes or coupons. That is the lowest minivan price that I have found for Thanksgiving week.
