My pin also said only good to Dec 25

I also received the pin code in the Newsletter, called and had a lovely chat with the representative and saved almost $50 from the AP rate. Which could develop into a bigger savings since I no longer *have* to purchase the AP. I still may, like I told my daughter, I've budgeted $500 for souvenirs and with the AP I could adjust that down to $450 but instead will probably keep the $500 budgeted and get $550 worth of stuff!

I'm so glad I clicked on this thread. We were previously booked at RP for Oct. 9-13 with a 30% off code I got in my e-mail. I received the e-mail newsletter a few days ago but never really looked at it. After reading this I went back and saw I had a code to get 40% off. I called immediately and changed to the new discount. We are saving about an additional 120 something, which almost pays for a day at a waterpark.

Hello!
I think I got the same pin code that a few pp's mentioned. It's embedded in the e-newsletter, but does say its a unique offer code. 40% off PBR & RPR, 30% of HRH. Good Sundays-Thursdays, now til Christmas. Can't redeem on line, must call the 800# listed.

Hmm, I think that there might be 2 varieties of PINs out there. Ours didn't restrict which days of the week, but was only good for a 3+ night stay. Was your code good for a lesser number of nights?

Received the pin two days ago.Book by 9/29/13 for 30% off HRH,40%off RPR or PBH.No online reserving.:)

Thanks so much for this information! I signed both myself and my husband up for the emails. We received a code yesterday for 40% off a 3 day or more stay. We were already booked to stay 2 days at RPR over Thanksgiving week. We were planning on staying Tuesday and Wednesday at RPR and then switching to a non-universal hotel because the holiday rates were so high for Thursday and Friday. Now we get to stay at RPR for the whole trip and I don't have to pack up to move to another hotel. The best part is we are spending less than our original split stay!

Exact same dates! Woo!

I had the AP rate booked but today modified it with the 40% off code. The lady I got on the phone was a wee bit confused by what I needed, but it all worked out.

I had the same problem too but in the end all was well. But I think my problem might had to do with switching resorts

What rate is the percentage off figured from? One night rack rate? I booked RPR Oct 13-20 in a standard room for $177 a night. I did this back in May and havent seen the rates anywhere near that since I booked.

Off of seasonal rate or rack rate at time of booking with code.

On my call, she dangled Club level in front of me, but I needed to do the math and figure out if it would be a value to us. Especially b/c all they had was a King room so we would have to spend ANOTHER $100 for DS to have a rollaway for the 4 nights (though honestly he'd likely just sleep in the Kind bed with us, no biggie). So she put it on hold for me. We were about to finish the phone call with the 2Q AP-rate reservation untouched and the code-based King Club on hold.

And I asked what I had previously paid as a deposit. Not sure how that set her onto this track, but she went from not answering that question to NEEDING to know if I "still needed" the other reservation, the 2Q reservation. Uh, huh? Yeah, I do, while we decided on the Club level. Except I was trying to figure out if she meant the question I was hearing, or if I was misunderstanding, or what on earth was prompting that question when I was asking what I had previously paid. (I booked originally in April...you can understand why that info isn't fresh in my mind, LOL)

Then finally she worked out that I wanted her to change the 2Q AP rate to the code rate which seems totally reasonable, especially since it's EXACTLY what I told her I needed to do at the very beginning of the call. And along with doing that, I needed the King Club held, just for a day. (ended up being for 20 minutes, when I cancelled it)

Not sure why that was an issue! It wasn't at all until I asked about my deposit. :confused3

Code was for 3+ nights. Fine print on the bottom restricted days, but when I called, 40% off was applied to all days. I didn't have to ask.

Like PP said, mine doesn't include a sofa bed. Maybe thats an unadvertised restriction of the pin? Did anyone who booked with this code get a room with a sofa bed?

I really don't understand why they have such issues with the deposits

Yeah it was so weird. And once she sorted out the YES we need to keep the 2Q room while thinking about the K room, she had the info instantly. If their emails or the account section on loewshotels.com would actually show what you've put down that would be fabulous! If the emails would show the total that would be fabulous. So much easier. I do write these things down, but my organizational skills aren't the best, so finding the spot where I have everything written or figuring out what month's CC bill to check isn't always easy.

We were able to get three nights at RPR in December prior to a cruise for less than 500 dollars including tax! Saved us a couple of hundred dollars.

This is our first trip to UO, I'm used to Disney. Can anyone tell me if this is common to have to call to redeem the offer, or will I get a sales pitch. Not complaining, just preparing. Also, I skimmed the fine print, but want to know if the rules are as strict as Disney free dining or RO discount. Right now I'm booked with Travelocity for a Saturday - Tuesday. Can I just pay a higher rate for Saturday and get the 40% off Sun & Mon or do all dates have to fall between Sun & Thrus?

Thanks for your help. So excited about our trip, just trying to learn more about how Universal does things before I call.

I just opened my e-mail and was reading the newsletter and found a PIN code for 40% off RPR and PBH, 30% off HRH! Good for dates from now December 25th. I just applied it to our stay in 3 weeks and it was cheaper than our APH rate! Mine didn't have any weekend restrictions though so it also included the Friday night we're staying.

Ended up being $134.40 Mon-Thurs and $164.40 on Fri for a standard room at RPH!:dance3:

Edit: Oh, I forgot. It's always common to have to call with the offer and I didn't get a sales pitch of any kind. Just a very nice, efficient woman who got it changed without issue.
