Sand and Sun ~ Trip Number Ten Was Lots of Fun! Clearwater Beach & YC, August 2013

Hello and welcome to my TR! :yay:

Most of you already know me, so I will keep the intros short & sweet (pretty much copied from the PTR, so feel free to skip!). We just got back from our tenth Disney World trip on August 26. Hard to believe we have gone so many times!!

I am the mom, the wife, the Disney lover! I have been married to my DH for 15 years and we have 2 wonderful boys. I work part time at my kids' school as a Teaching Assistant. And I am now also an Authorized Disney Travel Agent! I started doing this in March and it is going well so far and I am loving it! In my spare time I enjoy being with my boys, shopping, photography, and of course everything Disney!

DH has become quite the Disney fan himself! He works a lot of hours as a Quality Assurance Inspector, so he really looks forward to our family vacations to the sunshine state! In his spare time he enjoys spending time with the boys and being outdoors.

DS14 is our oldest. Hard to believe he's a teenager already. Just started High School. He enjoys reading & writing stories, being with his friends, playing video games, skateboarding, archery, and loves roller coasters! He still enjoys Disney very much and I hope that doesn't change anytime soon. DS14 is very out-going and hilarious and is always the star of the show!

DS12 is our little guy. But not so little anymore, just started Middle School. He enjoys being the star of his soccer team, being outside, playing video games, and Legos!! He loves Disney very much and I can always count on him if I want to talk about Disney! DS12 is very laid back and easy-going and doesn't have a care in the world.

Our WDW trip history includes: October 2005, May 2007, May 2008, Jan 2009, Nov 2009, Nov 2010, Aug/Sept 2011, Apr/May 2012, and Dec 2012. We really enjoyed our late Aug/early Sept 2011 trip, in-fact it was probably our best trip ever!! So, we wanted to go during that time frame again. Unfortunately that week would interfere with DS14's Freshmen Academy/Orientation, so we went a week earlier August 17-26.

Since this was our 10th trip we wanted to add a little something to it to really make it different. We had many ideas, Disneyland, Universal, etc., but ended up deciding on the beach! After much research I came to the conclusion that Clearwater Beach would be the place for us. So, this trip includes 2 nights at the beach and 7 nights at Disney!

*I will do all of our dining reviews right here as well! And we were part of the August test run of the Magicbands and Fastpass Plus, so I will explain how that all worked.

I was going to go with Surf and Turf, but couldn't think of anything to rhyme with it! :rotfl:

He is actually still 11, but he will be 12 very soon so I just went with it instead of changing it mid report!

Funny, one day we were walking down the strip with all the shops and DS14 said - I bet it would be really cool to live here!! :yay:
