I Want to Sell Tee-Tee to Other People!!! - July 2013 TR *UPDATE 4/29 pg. 73*

Okay, catching up now...

Drunk Yeti is amazing.

I love the Nemo Photopass border! So cute!

Big Brother is my OBSESSION. This has definitely been the craziest season I can remember, and I've been watching since season 5!

That's awful about your calf! My sister had a sprained toe during our trip and it definitely made all the walking harder...but Disney is worth it.

POLE-DANCING YETI. So scandalous, yet so hilarious. I definitely need a trip mascot of some sort for my next trip.

Can't wait to hear what happens next!!

I'm late but subbing!! Will catch up tonight when I'm released from my prison cell! (aka work! Haha!)

Loving your report so far, your family sound as though they're tons of fun :goodvibes

One question though, I've never heard of the name Joaquin before and just wondered how it is pronounced :)

I'm so excited that drunk Yeti is along for the ride! Your nephews are so cute! I can see trouble in that little one's eyes though...he must take after Tee Tee and Pops ;)

So glad no one puked on the flight and that your parents found you!

YAY! Off to Disney. I love the Super Mickey your parents have in the car. So cute! And I find it hysterical how you decided to ambush your parents with Joaquin lol

I have that Super Mickey too. :) He's incredible.

We always ambush people with Joaquin. That's because he's so crazy!

$4 for a Sprite and not much "spritier"? That's a real shame right there ;)

It is, isn't it? You pay that kind of money, you would at least expect something special.

That stinks about being put as the last car in the lot. YAY for trams though and Joaquin kid-isms! :thumbsup2 to the amazing choice in GIF! Is it bad I can hear that minion's voice pitch perfect in my head? Despicable Me

It seemed to be our lot in life on this trip, being in the last row.

Oh believe me, the kid-isms will continue. He was chock full of them at times.

The GIF was perfect, because we do that all the time! We'll just look at each other and be like "wwwhhhhaaaa?"

How can you not get excited about the new RFID stations/MyMagic+? They are shaped like Mickey heads! And Joaquin's little comment... I can't. I just... :lmao: This kid. He sure has a way with words. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I am excited about it. A little hesitant about how they'll actually play out, but I'm all for something new and shiny!

He definitely does have a way with words.............

Looks like you made great choices at Pizza Planet even when being suffocated by tour groups! The cappucino cupcake looks eerily similar to the Red Velvet Cupcake from Starring Rolls. It must've been good then. And DISNEY PIZZA! :bitelip:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

It was yummy and it did the trick.

The cappucino cupcake was heavenly! I mean, it's no red velvet, but it was dang good!

I'm determined not to fall behind on this TR since it just started!!!

Isn't it terrible that it's so easy to fall behind on the DIS? I've found that for myself as of late.

Ugh I can't believe you restrained your calf! That sounds like something that would happen to me!

I'm not kidding, I was like FOR REAL?! I mean, I understood straining it on my 10k, that was 6.2 miles. But running across my lawn?! :furious:

Dunkin Donuts coffee it usually good, but sometimes, when they mess it up...ugh, it can be awful! :sad2:

I guess I'm fortunate, because this was the first time I'd ever had bad DD coffee. It was so disappointing.

HAHAHA!!! OMG story of my life in Disney...seriously, we NEVER get the good, close spaces at the end of the row, we always have to start a new one and walk an extra 5 miles!!!

Yum, Pizza Planet...OMG I'd give anything for Disney pizza right now!!!

It continued throughout the trip. We couldn't win.

Okay, catching up now...

Drunk Yeti is amazing.

I love the Nemo Photopass border! So cute!

Drunk Yeti is incredible. And naughty....

I loved the new PP borders! I had so much fun with them this time.

Big Brother is my OBSESSION. This has definitely been the craziest season I can remember, and I've been watching since season 5!

Everyone has been saying it's been disappointing, but I haven't been yet. They're so insane!

It was frustrating to hurt it, because I had rested it after the initial strain for almost three weeks. To have it happen to randomly was irritating!

Yeti is my ultimate trip mascot. I'm fearful I'm going to run out of things for him to do......:lmao:

I'm late but subbing!! Will catch up tonight when I'm released from my prison cell! (aka work! Haha!)

I'm currently still in my prison cell. Sshhhhhh. :rotfl:

Loving your report so far, your family sound as though they're tons of fun :goodvibes

One question though, I've never heard of the name Joaquin before and just wondered how it is pronounced :)

:welcome: Glad you're here!

No worries on his name! It's more on the unusual side. Phonetically, you would pronounce it wa-keen.

I'm so excited that drunk Yeti is along for the ride! Your nephews are so cute! I can see trouble in that little one's eyes though...he must take after Tee Tee and Pops ;)

So glad no one puked on the flight and that your parents found you!

Of course drunk Yeti was along for the ride!

Um.....Joaquin takes after his father and his Poppy. I don't know anything about this trouble in MY EYES business. ;):lmao:

I'm grateful no one puked too. That would have been a disastuh!

Jeni: Sadly....that didn't make it any Spritier.
I might just be a long lost member of your family. We're related somehow, maybe a past life. Words like this happen in my family all the time! :thumbsup2 LOVE it!

"Awwwwww, you got my jiblets!"

What!? lmao this is awesome! :rotfl:

Sounds like a fun Jedi training session! I love watching those, we saw one really funny master once too.
Pizza Planet! Yummo! DH's favourite food in the world is pizza, and his favourite pizza is Disney pizza.

I just got here, great report so far! My kids call my sister Tata, always have...in Russian (DH's native tongue), the word for aunt sounds a bit like Tata, so I think that's where my DD got it from, but it works - it's short and sweet. Your nephews are adorable. I think it's great you get along so well with your family, and can travel with them. Nothing tests a relationship like traveling together :thumbsup2

Looking forward to more of your entertaining report!

All caught up and getting ready to start my own TR!! I'll send you a PM:thumbsup2

Haha! I love finding long lost family! We make stuff up on a constant basis.

I love watching them too, just to see what the kids will do or how the master is.

Glad you're here. I like the name much better than normal Aunt. It just suits me more.

We travel together often. We had a few moments on this trip, just based on the fact that there were so many people.

I'm in, here, reading and all caught up.....:)

Yay!

All caught up and getting ready to start my own TR!! I'll send you a PM:thumbsup2

I've already hopped on board!

Danielle, I'm all caught up. Love your intros and the smiles on the boys faces outside the limo. Your family makes me smile with your funny faces and the joy you all show. Your humor also makes me smile.

Can't wait to see what you do after lunch.

I remember the crowds of Brazilian tour groups just like that last July! A perfect picture to capture the moment! :lmao:

That cappachino cupcake is too die for...love it!!!! Sadly...I usually eat all of it!

Thanks Kathy! We are a really silly family overall. It's nice to share it with others.

This child is ridiculous, isn't he?

Hahaha! That's what it felt like! This is my second time going in July ever, and I'm definitely not a fan of the tour groups. I don't mind crowds, I've gone over Thanksgiving and New Years before, but tour groups are just a whole other animal!

It was soooooo yummy. Believe me, I didn't always share my desserts. But considering it was the FIRST day of the trip, I wanted to get started on the right foot. :rotfl2:

We had just finished up our lunch at Pizza Planet. It did the trick, and most of us were really hungry.

Someone apparently ate himself into a foma......(food coma if you're curious).

We were in the area, so why not head to the Muppets! "With a glorious 3 hour finale celebrating all countries but mostly America!"

Who doesn't love Kermit rocking out?!

I showed the kids the key under the mat, and Joaquin was perturbed by the fact that he couldn't pick it up. :lmao:

The boys liked the show, especially the finale. After everything blew up and then was fixed, Joaquin looks at me and says:

WOAH! IT WENT FROM PERFECT UP, TO BLOWED UP, TO PERFECT AGAIN! IT'S A TRICK!!!!!!

He is a clever clever boy.

As soon as we stepped out it had started to rain, but it passed over really quickly.

I think it's more appropriate that this says "Joaquin was here."

We shopped around the store for a little while, and while we were there, Mom got the text that the villa was ready!!!!! We were ready to see the villa and were super excited, so we decided to head out of the park.

On our way out, I told Joaquin to go check out the snow!

And he immediately proceeded to tell me that it was not snow and that it was fake!

FOOOOOLLLLLLEEEDDD YOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!

On the way out, we decided to get some photopass pictures.

Look! We can look normal!

Wait? JAZZ HANDS?!

It was after this picture that we started walking out of the park. Jeni turns to me and says:

I FEEL LIKE THERE ARE 100 PEOPLE IN MY PANTS RIGHT NOW, IT'S SO HOT!

I mean, come on. That's how we roll!

We're classy!

We started heading out to the car. It was hot ya'll! Like crazy! I am pale, as you have noticed. I bought Blue Lizard sunscreen, which is supposed to be amazing for us pale folk. Jeni and I were talking about the heat and stuff. I told her that I bought a bunch of tank tops for the trip. But, I told her:

I need to lube up before we go out tomorrow, otherwise I'm going to burn in the sun like Bill Compton!

We made it to the tram and rode to the car. Yeti considered himself to be a daredevil.

Yikes....

We saw this on a car, which was the coolest thing ever!

We headed over to the Treehouse Villas because we were so excited to see it!

We had a villa on the golf course side. So we get out of the car and start heading in. And I'm not kidding....while we are walking in a golf ball flies right past my head! Literally grazed my ear. We all stood around dumbfounded, because we didn't know how to react honestly.

I yelled at the golf course "SOMEONE OUT THERE IS A TERRIBLE GOLFER!" For real, he had to have a wicked hook or slice to even get that close to us, let along whizzing past my head.

Anyway. I lived. I wasn't jacked in the face, jacked in the head, made unconscious, or anything like that.

So inside we went.

We have kitchen.

The boys bedroom.

The second bedroom.

The master bedroom (with a child apparently already climbing on the bed!)

I loved the sink details!

Our view on the deck.

All in all, we really loved it! It was nice and quiet, especially with two loud and rowdy boys!

Soon bell services was bringing up the luggage. And we had a little something for the boys before our dinner reservations...

Up next: They're jeggings!!!!!

Muppets is one of my favorites. I think I like the pre-show waiting area more than the movie, there are so many cool things to look for!

Great picture of the whole family!

Well hellloooo fellow Trubie!

The Treehouse Villas look so nice!! I never considered staying there before but now I might have to!

I was so disappointed Muppets was closed while we were there. :(

Love the photopass pictures...you are normal, aren't you? :lmao::lmao: Seriousl, they are great.

I've not seen pictures in a long time of the Treehouse Villas...they look really nice.

It's one of my favorites too. I am a HUGE Muppets fan, used to watch the Muppet show constantly when I was a kid. Have them on DVD in fact.

:lmao:

Hahaha, Jeni really put it well trying to quantify what the heat felt like. But it made me beg the question "how do you know what 100 people in your pants feel like?" :rolleyes1 :lmao:

I have read all of the Charlaine Harris novels. Except the last one. I think I'm in denial that it's the last one......

The Villas were really nice. Since we're DVC, we've just been waiting for the right opportunity to stay there. We had just the right amount of people.

I was so disappointed Muppets was closed while we were there. :(

Muppets closed?! That's sacrilege!

I think I'm normal.....at times. ;)

We really enjoyed the villas and I'm glad that we stayed there. In retrospect, I wish we stayed there the whole time, but being this was Jeni's first BIG trip, we wanted her to experience two different resorts.
